I think it's hilarious that Generaider Runick might be the best home for Justiciar just for its ability to get to World Legacy Monstrosity more consistently. Ib is a combo starter for degenerate combo decks, similar to halq and isolde. Ib probably won't be problematic for the forseeable future and isn't as generically powerful as halq, union carrier and isolde. However, just because degenerate combo decks aren't usually meta doesn't mean they aren't problematic to some extent. They do sometimes pop up and can be an issue, halq and isolde were always ticking time bombs that begged to be abused in the right deck and ib may eventually be the starter for degenerate decks that are over the top in the future. If konami continues to ban problem end board ed bosses like calamities then ib won't ever be a problem but it's impossible to ban everything that's powerful like that. These kind of combo decks do lose to handtraps so maybe they will struggle to be a meta threat but it depends what gets printed in future.
Ib was banned before halq release because any deck that could make a lv5 synchro and full combo with a halq, which aren't difficult conditions to satisfy, then got access to halq tagging out into a desert locust and synchro with the lv2 world chalice summoned off ib to make omega for a hand loop 2 for free. Without halq I think this card should be OK.
I hope a current deck doesn’t break Ib and make her become a problem again. I really want to use her in Ice Barrier. IB needs all the Water Synchros it can get and Ib makes it more consistent to get to Lancea.
@babrad even anime Brownie is good because of Gilgamesh and Alexander existing. It's a lv3 tuner which could be pend Summoned back to make a lv10 if we get a good in archetype one.
Upstart is shit in strikers, this isnt 2018 anymore. Going second, opening with upstart instead of a handtrap or a boardbreaker is absolute shit, it messses up with the Linkage otk line, and getting drolled after activating upstart literally loses you the game.

For sure. I can play 50 games with Dragon Rulers and find out they suck ass through testing different builds on master duel. But in real life it might take a whole month of doing 1 locals every week to discover the same thing or never discover it because of the weird locals meta.@@dudeguy8686
"with infinite time"...
Now all we need is a hero who can make a neural network that plays Yu-Gi-Oh
IB is just Denglong all over again, except denglong is more for negates instead of extenders.
1 card combo with Ib = 3 mat Apollousa + S:P Little Knight or Savage Dragon or Herald of Arc Light
Oops! Congratulations for the YCS
can we get knightmare mermaid back please? ):
I feel like she'll cause more problems down the line.
If ib would cause a problem
Then denglong would have already did which he didn’t
Not unless they release some crazy world chalice cards
@@Capta1nTD that’s literally impossible right now
@user-jx1jr3gs8t So yeah, I don't expect her to be a problem for the foreseeable future.
These kind of combo decks do lose to handtraps so maybe they will struggle to be a meta threat but it depends what gets printed in future.
wasnt ib banned cause 1 halq came out soon and 2 master rule revisions?
Ib was banned before halq release because any deck that could make a lv5 synchro and full combo with a halq, which aren't difficult conditions to satisfy, then got access to halq tagging out into a desert locust and synchro with the lv2 world chalice summoned off ib to make omega for a hand loop 2 for free. Without halq I think this card should be OK.
The fact this video is 9:11 minutes long kills me
one moves 3 cards out of the deck , the other 2 , denglong is better than ib but they both require bricks so they're not worth playing in 2023
I hope a current deck doesn’t break Ib and make her become a problem again. I really want to use her in Ice Barrier. IB needs all the Water Synchros it can get and Ib makes it more consistent to get to Lancea.
I don't know if it makes any sense in ice barriers. How many bricks would you keep in the deck
@@valff5770 1-2 Bricks. Beckoned and an optional WL spell/trap. IB can’t use the counter trap, but Secret is really nice.
Yugioh is a 2 player game?!
Just more combo nonsense.
She kinda bad tho 👀
IB is insane if all the Guardragons are legal, because she is full guardragon combo by herself
Day 16 asking konami to print D/D Brownie
I could wait a long time, as long as they make her something similar to "D/D Savant Circular" and not something like "D/D/D/D Zero Paradox"
@babrad even anime Brownie is good because of Gilgamesh and Alexander existing. It's a lv3 tuner which could be pend Summoned back to make a lv10 if we get a good in archetype one.
@@Rabidragon9241They're gonna make it another 4 and make the synchro boss a Lvl 12 that requires "2 D/D tuner + 1 D/D monster"
@@zwartesoep2010 I doubt it. Lv4 would just replace orthros for lv8 and lv10 lines
Cant wait to see 3 upstart goblin in sky strikers
u can play 3x upstart and have space for some of the new support?
Upstart is shit in strikers, this isnt 2018 anymore. Going second, opening with upstart instead of a handtrap or a boardbreaker is absolute shit, it messses up with the Linkage otk line, and getting drolled after activating upstart literally loses you the game.
@@ryuuohdeltaplus7936 and Upstart is already free in master duel but it rarely see play because, as you say, is better to see hantraps.
At the moment no, but down the line it's definitely gonna cause massive problems with future support or a new archetype.
Joshua you are the best player, konami has never left you with your favorite cards in peace. keep talking nonsense about this game and those good guys who play banned don't hear you, don't worry, don't worry, no one takes you seriously, don't worry, continue your wonderful card game, come on, no one listens to you when you talk, much less those from tcg who make the banned lists, come on, don't worry, boy, you're very strong, too strong, genius of the game, wonderful player, I respect you, brother, very strong player, come on, keep it up friend, wonderful, strong, strong, I respect you more and more, keep winning, you're the strongest in the game, I love you I recommend that you always continue like this
I think Ib was considered as strong as it was because it allowed one of the first "one card combo", but the game has come to a point where every deck has a one card combo.
That’s not true as had one card combo before.
Ib is the most coolest as Galatea.
Free Kitkallos. She did nothing wrong
She was in a tier 0 deck that is basically the modern iteration of Dragon Rulers in terms of it's ability to be meta in spite of all of it's cards being hit. She can stay on the list for a couple years.
@@e-tan3911 Kitkallos didn't create any kind of toxic gameplay. While calamity is always a problem when the card sees play, this is not the case for Kitkallos.
@@herbertcharlesbrown1949 "What about x?" Is not an argument for kitkalos. I'm not talking about Calamity, kit can stay banned and calamity can be banned.
@@herbertcharlesbrown1949
I really hope you're trolling lmao
Kitkalos facilitated a normal summon mill 8 that was practically guaranteed even prior to Agido/Kelbek even being printed. Tear quite literally was kept on life support in OCG as the best deck in their format for way longer than it should have been despite nearly every single card out of that archetype getting hit to 1 solely due to Kit and Chaos Ruler.
Numeron is still an insane deck and people just don't play it because it's boring.
Ib isn't going to be an issue in any normal deck imo, but the bigger issue is that she enables dumbass FTKs. And we should be banning all of those tbh, as long as it doesn't otherwise affect the format.
Where has she enabled an FTK that hasn't involved other cards that have since been banned?
I've seen people do a bunch of fancy elaborate Ib combos the last two days, and it really doesn't amount to much. One hand trap and you're screwed. Like sure you could end up on some ridiculous end boards, but that's only if your opponent has absolutely 0 interactions, and at that point you could do the same with any competent deck.
Ib turns wakauahi into calamity + 3 negates, some other interuption and centurion follow-up
