The Israeli publications +972 and Local Call have exposed how the Israeli military used an artificial intelligence program known as Lavender to develop a "kill list" in Gaza that includes as many as 37,000 Palestinians who were targeted for assassination with little human oversight. A second AI system known as "Where's Daddy?" tracked Palestinians on the kill list and was purposely designed to help Israel target individuals when they were at home at night with their families. The targeting systems, combined with an "extremely permissive" bombing policy in the Israeli military, led to "entire Palestinian families being wiped out inside their houses," says Yuval Abraham, an Israeli journalist who broke the story after speaking with members of the Israeli military who were "shocked by committing atrocities." Abraham previously exposed Israel for using an AI system called "The Gospel" to intentionally destroy civilian infrastructure in Gaza, including apartment complexes, universities and banks, in an effort to exert "civil pressure" on Hamas. These artificial intelligence military systems are "a danger to humanity," says Abraham. "AI-based warfare allows people to escape accountability."

So Lavender AI scans 90% of Gaza population and gives each individualï a rating between 1 & 100 by checking them with a list of features the AI machine’s decided indicate the likelihood someone may be a member of Hamas.
37,000 Gazans were marked as targets in this way. At the same time a decision was made to target those men at home at night with their families, not when they were fighting in the field, as it was ‘easier’.
Massive civilian ‘collateral damage’ was always a feature of this strategy. Not just the target’s family, but extended family & other families, most buildings being multi-dwelling. So much for precision targeting. Chilling contempt & inhumanity.

As most the victims are WOMEN and kids, we need global WOMEN & MOTHERS march to stop this atrocity.
I protested on my own yesterday. I read about my state and city laws, along with using with my understanding of my first amendment. Where I am, peaceful demonstration is allowed in public places. No blocking/obstructing traffic/people. No loud devices.
I also stay safe from traffic. No one acted scary, but it's a good precaution. Also pointless to do it at night, bc people can't see as well while focusing on traffic. Also, the rowdy people come out at night, and that doesn't help.
All you need is a sign with a message, per person in a public place. Positive messages are better. Read your city and state laws. And I recommend this for people in countries which have freedom of speech/press. Also, large protests and blocking traffic requires a permit in some cities. Don't use loudspeakers, someone got arrested in NYC for that. If you do get into legal issues, your lawyer is for that, but I suggest to avoid that and confrontation.

Before any of this ever came to the forefront on 10/7, Israel has been breaking international law continuously since 1948, when the UN passed a treaty which was a two state solution, in which Israel and Palestine were both allotted their own lands and the right to self-determination for each.
In that same year Israel displaced 700,000 Palestinians from their allotted land (this event known as the Nakba) and has been settling on land allotted to Palestine in the treaty, displacing Palestinians, colonizing them, and taking control of all aspects of Palestinian life (including being subject to Israeli law, which is different for Israelis and Palestinians, hence the apartheid) with the aid of Western military backing, effectively taking away the Palestinians right to self determination.
ALL of that is the violating of international law...and all of that was happening before 10/7.

I felt nauseous /terrified/profoundly sad as I listened to this sobering report. I do not doubt the honesty /legitimacy of the reporter. I believe he is genuinely horrified and seemed afraid of how the Israeli military were using their various AI instruments to kill Palestinian people, especially with little regard for human life. When he discussed how in the early days of the genocide the military used less expensive but more destructive dumb bombs on Palestinians regarded as having less human value, I started to cry.
As I write this, my sadness and grief has turned into outrage. These people have such a twisted way of thinking it is incomprehensible to think of them as fellow humans. That they have access to various integrated AI technology including nuclear capabilities, that they are a ruthless military state, that they have used these tools in evil ways and have violated international laws, should stand as red flags for the safety and security of mankind. How much of this is known to global political leaders, the United Nations, the world courts? The global community deserves answers to such questions.

What we are facing is that the same law and rules makers are the same who are breaking them!!! It can not get worse or more dangerous than that 😏😏
