I'm rethinking as bringing it to school that requires you to move around here and there thus damaging it. I am using my M16 as my desktop and using my old laptop in school. would not feel bad if my old laptop gets scratches from going around.
I'm moving to Canada to study and I was looking for a laptop that could game and didn't look like a disco party. This m16 check all the boxes Thank you for ur long term review!
Since you mentioned a bit about the Razer Blade, I wish to share my experience as a Razer Blade user. Currently, I have been using the Razer Blade 15 Advanced Edition from 2020 (with RTX 2080S) for over 2 years. The laptop has a solid built material(very hard to damage it or wear down over a long period of use compared to the Asus one you talked about) but the battery is god awful after a year. I have to remove it due to a slight bloat which collides with my trackpad(now I am using it without the battery). Otherwise, everything went well. The fingerprint issue is not a problem because I have a skin from Dbrand. Temperature mostly peaks around 80 under heavy gaming load. It is way better than the Blade 14 model. I would recommend the Blade if Razer is finally able to figure out the way to handle the battery bloating issues.

Haha, thx but I don’t think I will make another dedicated video. However I will say that it still works fine, but there are much better alternatives out there including its new version, razer blade, etc. This laptop is pretty outdated when it comes to the screen and overall build quality, I would suggest buying something else

Would you recommend this over a legion 5 pro Assuming they're both equally spec'd and priced? Or maybe even a flow x16 since it's very similar your the m16

I have a lot of study periods in my IB right now so i wanted to spend them expanding my portfolio. Do you think this laptop is durable enough for every day use including note taking, watching youtube and things like unreal engine 5 or blender? Also does the laptop feel 'bulky' compared to other gaming laptops?

I bought the Zephyrus G16 and am grateful for the shoutout that the surface being delicate. Mine was initially hot during everyday usage but I found all the settings which made it much cooler and quiet. Can't afford the more expensive M16 or the Rog Strix which has 3 fans unlike the ZephG16 which only has 2 fans for cooling

Big thanks for doing this 1 year after review! I'm considering buying a G16 on Black Friday if there is a good deal and you adressed some of my concerns that i haven't seen anywhere else. Like the perfurated lid not filling with dust, i'm surprised! definitely thought it would be a nightmare to clean. The Blend of portability, work, gaming and media consumption is something other laptops don't seem to have. Big question - if you could go back in time with the knowledge you have now, would you buy it again or would you buy something else?
Hi did u get your laptop because I got the g16 on sale and it really good using the m16 chasis tho it's not quite the g14 on sale so if u want portability go with that using the ryzen and a better screen tho u only have one slot to upgrade storage
@@RR2SS not yet unfortunately, still overpriced in my country. How are you liking the g16 so far? portability shouldn't be bad for a 16inch scree, only 2kg. you can get the QHD screen on g16 so idk how the g14 has a better screen. And the G16 also only has one free slot for storage.
@@7thsigner195 im in the USA best buy had the g14 2023 for sale with a hqd screen the g16 has a fhd. The new g16 has another slot of storage to upgrade the g14 doesn't. I'm loving it so far its awesome the new rtx 4060 is powerful way better than my hp pavilion with a 1650 tho I have to return it sadly it has a terrible buzzing noise only from the cpu fan the gpu fan sounds great but other than that it awesome.
Sorry for the late response, but if I could go in time, I think would’ve waited for the flow x16 simply becuz of the OLED screen and touchscreen (useable for more work). I also noticed I don’t game that often (most on desktop), so would’ve probably considered the Dell X15. However, I don’t regret buying this machine at all!
@@Peezs nice to hear that, that's why I think for portability 14inch is the way to go I don't have enough room for a actual pc so 16inch is perfect for me I don't need the portability. But if u need the screen size 16inch is still portable.

How about the brightness and screen quality generally?
Apparently the 3060 model doesn't come with the nebula 1440p screen.
It’s a 1080p screen, but the colour accuracy and brightness is nearly the same

Can you share the settings to reduce the heat you mentioned?
if u need to keep the laptop cool while gaming get a laptop fan its a stand and an extra 3 fans which blow into the laptop and keeps it very cool

Depends on what u want, I think performance the nitro will be better but the Zephyrus is better for travel, school and light use
