I ABSOLUTELY loved this! Zara is so cute and well-spoken! Dayum, sis is cute and smart... Also, loved the topography class. Bring it, Miss Mama!
She has insane charisma
She's very poised and friendly. Sweden is an excellent country!
Wasn't she the girl that complain about not being able to talk loudly at the cinema?
@@sowhat1674 She's said that was a joke a thousand times and yet people still bring it up lmao. She said she does it herself sometimes so she doesn't really care that much. It is kinda rude to do that in Sweden though, so I guess that might also be a cultural difference for others.
you do not wanna live in sweden trust me
*was an exellent country
not really….
I was with so much gains to travel to Sweden some day...after this video, i am even more excited to explore it.What a country 🤩🇸🇪
It sucks
@@NY-rg9br whaaats??!! Maybe u don't like it...But me, as a really really far foreigner i found it so interesting...don't be rude with the country 😅🙏
no it doesn't as a swede i am sad you experienced my country that way@@NY-rg9br
You shuld visit Sweden
Yes but go either in the summer or if you come during winter time only go north😅
Up north is nice for summers too! There are alot of amazing hiking trails and experinces
Love Sweden too, that's why I moved to Stockholm last year and cannot be happier of it! Also, love Zara Larsson too, but probably more her land :)
I fell in love with Sweden thanks to Eurovision, Melodifestivalen and then Young Royals, so this video is just pure joy to me, thanks Zara! 💜
For sure Zara should be the NEXT Swedish ambassador to the United States -- great video!
YES
No. She HATES white men. Dumb feminists who goes after negros and hangs with feminists lgbtq people. We hate her
I thoroughly enjoyed this!
This makes me a proud Swede 🇸🇪😍
Great video! Love the Going Places series!!
that shrimp dip looked heavenly! I love a pickled fish!
this is a great series!
I'd like to advocate for the Swedish west coast too! That was skipped on the road trip LOL. I personally think our islands on the west coast are even more beautiful than the Stockholm archipelago. ;)
West coast > East coast
they are but there's already too many people out here in the summer!
ÄLSKAR dig Zara!❤
Queen. She got this. Love her.
Fin tjej. 💛💙🇸🇪🇸🇪
Nu kommer Kalles erövra världen helt säkert.
Äter en äggmacka med kaviar medan jag tittar på detta haha.. sammanträffande :D
Sweden ist absolutely amazing.
used to be
narrative on point... Love how she describes these dishes... Road trip class is amazing. Österlen is stunning and the beaches are just insane (but water really cold = freezing!)
Also if you are in sweden, come to sundsvall during the summer. Voted Swedens most beautiful city in 2021. It's called "The Dragon City" since it's nessled between to mountains and it's also called "The Stone City" since the entier city is built out of stone with this beautiful gothic arcitecture. I love Sundsvall so much
Sundsvall😂
@@siggetrygger1476 vad har du emot Sundsvall?
Älskar Sundsvall. ⛰️ ☀️
Sök på orust så ska du se något fint hahah
@@tilda754 ser ut som en billig version av smögen😂
This was so entertaining to watch haha. Could have been an hour
Skellefteå mentioned!!!
loved this
Charisma!
“I can handle the liquor” 😂😂 she was so real for that
I LOVE HER
I am sooo proud of this vid and I ain’t Swedish by birth but Swedish at heart ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 and yes yes !!🥹🥹 this all is soo true, and it was lovely to see !💞I love my Sweden 💛💙
im a simple Swede, i see OP Andersson, i press like.
the thing inside the semla is actually not marsipan, its something called "mandelmassa" which is a cream made out of almonds
yea but more like a paste
Which, coincidentally, is also what marzipan is.
Mandelmassa is usually more coarsely ground and has less sugar though.
I wasn’t expecting the pole explanation of the midsummer celebration 😅. So cool learning something new.
It is a myth tho!
Gothenburg and Koster island😩Koster is heaven.
Zara my favorite and first crush in my life älskar fika och Zara :D
Smögen är så fint med,Västkusten.
Going there tomorr 😊😊
Sveriges stolthet! både det hon informerar om och hon själv!
Swedes are a proud nation 💛💙
vad fan hände med västkusten under sommaren excuse you🤨
Västkusten slår österlen men hahah hon kanske inte varit så mycket i bohuslän bara gbg
I LOVE ZARA!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm exacly like Zara, I love the semla but not the marsipan bit, the top part with whipped cream is the best, I usually make my own semla without the marzipan. Also cinnamon buns is best without cardemum.
It’s Almond paste, not marzipan.
I used to hate it but i have learned to like it over the years 😂
For me the best thing about Semla is the mandelmassa "marsipan" 👌👍
The almond paste is not similar to marzipan when it comes to taste at all, both are made out of almonds and sugar but it's not even slightly similar taste-wise. I personally LOVE LOVE LOVE almond paste, but marzipan is like meh to me. I would say amaretto is more similar in taste to almond paste. and marzipan taste more like a sugarpaste.
everything you have said here is anathema; kanelbullar are superior BECAUSE they have cardamom in them, and semlor are not filled with marzipan, it's mandelmassa and there's a HUGE difference
YES ZARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The OG May queen 💐🌷🌻
hennes röst låter så fint på svenska
I’m in love ❤
ZARA KNOWS HER FOOD!
Saturday candy has such a dark background to why that is. We had institutions of mentally challanged people in the 60s where they did experiments, one of them was the effect of high consumption on sugar and how that affected the health of their teeth. Apparently it was pretty bad.
Such a beautiful and fun woman. Love Zara!
Love you Zaraa
We don't have the same menu on every holiday. Some of the dishes might be similar, like some kind of herring, and some salmon, perhaps, but I don't know anyone who eat traditional Christmas food like Janssons frestelse, prinskorv or ham with mustard on New Years, Midsummer or any other holiday. Or anyone who eats Midsummer food like matjessill with gräddfil and chives, or a strawberry cake on Christmas or New Year's.
Still it is the same menu...you just add some boiled eggs to one holiday and maybe some potato pudding to another, otherwise it is exactly the same menu...
@@swinto4795I've never heard _anyone_ in Sweden ever having Christmas food Janssons frestelse, prinskorv or ham with mustard with boiled eggs for for Easter, or Midsummer food like matjessill with sour cream and chives, with a potato pudding, for New Years.
❤❤❤
Let's do this with Aurora and Norway!
07:53 that is a common misconception. There is no historical evidence that the midsommarstång/maypole has ever represented a phallic symbol. the notion that it is supposed to be a phallic symbol popped up during the late 1800’s. the shape that it has today is more likely to resemble a christian cross
I blame the christians for rewriting history and stand by that the pagans very intentionally made it look like a giant phallos.
They even reshaped it to look more like a cross unlike before when it didn't have the same shape.
kom tillbacka till Skellefteå zara vi saknar dig
Nu tar vi fika 💯🇸🇪
i love her 🥺 stream VENUS
❤❤❤❤ love Sweden
I’m currently living in Sweden rn love it so much but the pastries are soooooo dry 😹😭 my only complaint!! Other than that I love it here
Morotskaka?
they shouldn’t be! i recommend trying different places. the only pastry i find consistently dry is our cinnamon buns
I love her, but I've always wondered why a lot of Scandinavian artists englishify the way they say their own name. Her name is not pronounced that way in Swedish.
Kort lista.
ZARA IS DEFINITELY SWEDISH!
She speaks English like an American, which is amazing
2 fingers up for this presentation by Swedish political analyst Zara Larsson!
My girlllllllll
So many people mention "p*nis" when they talk about the midsommarstång. It's not TRUE.
Yes it is😂
@@GinaJ05 so "Nordiska museet" is lying?...
And then, semla is what makes the One Piece character Linlin Charlotte go crazy.
STREAM VENUS ❤❤❤
I wish to go there, but I don’t have enough money to go so you can help me😢
Omg mother
So she likes the most sour candy of all i mean salta patroner is the sourish candy you can find i think .
It's called Salmiakbalk.
I can speak swedish look i can say head is "huvud"

Americans are so interested in Sweden; it's like the only topic they have swedes talk about
how does she know all of this😭

I would prefer she said her real name though. It's not "Zara Larsen"...

Gurrrrl, you did not sell me on those snacks. You look like you don’t like them either and you are just realizing it in front of the camera 😄
Only people who love liquorice can go to Valhalla.
That kanelbulle looked extremely dry, but I think she didn’t want to come across as rude so she didn’t say anything about it
Ask what she think about men overall 😆
Nato?
Does it matter?
@@LetsRideIllinois idk
What exactly is your question?
I don't think I actually know any Swedes that likes NATO. Everyone wants neutrality. Except politicians and those that don't wanna fight and feel like NATO would do that instead of us.
That is because you and you're tiny little friend group are a bunch of morons and is incapable of reading a simple poll result.
Swednited states of america
Such a hypocrite. I really cant stand her after she revealed her true extreme political views
And your wheel is still turning but the hamster is dead!
I agree. She's no favourite of mine
Things that make Swedes proud:
1. SURSTRÖMMING
2. Caramelldansen
3. The Swedish chef
Cope in Hagen
never heard of her...is she famous?
She thinks she's 😂
No one expects everyone to know everyone. But yes. She is. 🙂
She is a singer! Her music is pop like and she sings beautifully
Well in Sweden she is rather famous.
Most people would know about her.
She's quite un Swedish though, loud and with strong political views and likes to be known and into the center of things.
But yeah her music is catchy and she got the looks.
In Europe she’s pretty popular, she has 28 million listeners per month on Spotify. Her songs Lush life and symphony have 1 billion streams.
Shes proud to be Swedish? RACIST! I''m just kidding! Sweden is great
That Swedes take pride in this, the face of multiculture (leaked tapes of it and all) to speak of Swedish pride is nauseating
She has forgotten how to be Swedish. She ate that kanelbullar like she didn't know what it was and my wife just slapped me for saying you put Selma in a bowl of milk.
You did originally, historically, and some still do.
Dude, a lot of people eat semla in a bowl of hot milk.
@@urkslurk I didn't say they didn't. I never seen it and my wife has said it's a crime against Selma
That kanelbulle was dry as f Ofc she was skeptical. Also plenty of people still eat their semla the traditional hetvägg way.
@@cendriia3738 behave. Ever Swede loves any kanelbullar. I've asked 30 Swedes about the Milky Selma and none have ever done it more know anyone that does it.
Swedens biggest flex is that it borders to Norway😅
no one is proud to be swedish
alot of people are, sweden is a great country
Looks like we have a Dane in the comments 😂 KÄFTEN DANSKJÄVEL

Ok she's exaggerating...on the foods ..maybe close ur mouth while ur eating😉
