I just wanted to say that I appreciate what you and Seven are doing to advance veterinary premature foal care. Every step Seven takes will help improve outcomes in the future. I also want to add that 50 years ago I was a groom at an Arabian stable and I asked the owner if she showed horses because she had them or if she had horses because showed them. Her answer, “I have horses because I love them. I show because it is a disease.” Your heart is in the right place.

I totally would not guess any of this stuff about Rebecca!!! I honestly thought she was a stay at home mom running their cattle farm. I also thought her husband was a full time farmer. Goes to show why you should never judge a book by its cover. Also would never guess her to be a hypochondriac. Especially considering she gloves up to help calve heifer’s. Idk I guess I always thought if your a “farm girl” your not afraid of much and will get down and dirty for anything lol. Dirty as in you’ll get your hands dirty and nothing grosses or freaks you out. You guys also keep talking about how much older Becca is compared to Katie. I just can’t imagine she is that much older. She looks so young or at least as young as Katie. You guys did awesome at this video!!! Definitely would love to see more videos with you two!!!
When I was in high school and college, I did more with horses. Did some barrel racing with an appy, and then worked with race horses, both thoroughbred and quarter horses, and the saddlebred and morgan horses, and some pulling shows with draft breeds but didn't know much about the other shows for the AQHA. Now that I'm doing more dog sport stuff now, I'm learning about more horse shows from watching your videos :D
8:45 i can relate to the change of heart on nursing. I always set my heart on being a nurse, but when COVID came around there were so many of my friends that were nurses advised me to change my degree because of the way they were treated. I ended up getting my degree in Health Information Management and I LOVE MY JOB!
The worry about Wally learning he can jump is hilarious.... i have a husky that was the same. Once she learned she could jump was a race to figure out how to stop her... definitely didn't want to meet the neighbors like we did but... 😅 loved having to ask for our dog back after she jumped in their yard
I actually understood way too much of what you do Becca! My husband is a software engineer, so I've been around the lingo enough to actually get it. That sounds like a really fulfilling job!
When I was in 4-H my leaders, and also the extended family, bred and showed AMHA and Pinto. So they had these flashy colored minis and National Show Horses. They would do showmanship with the minis. We didn't have halter only showmanship. And the jumping minis is called in hand jumping which they also did along with carts.
I went straight to Walter after jumping the gate yesterday!! I love Weezy she’s my favorite child but ginger & Ethel are close seconds!! Although Weezy vs ginger & Ethel are 2 completely different kinds horses so you cant really compare them! I mean Gingy has a wicked front leg like Weezy. However Gingy’s only forward because she’s 3!! Where Weezy at 2 has a great mind & could put in some miles and be ready for more!! I can’t wait to see her show!
So I was watching an old video of yours where you went to a taxidermy workshop. And I got so interested, could you maybe show us how they turned out? I am especially curious about the coyote. 😍
I want to say I am just like her. I think I get that by my father because my father is disabled from getting hurting hurt on the job, However he can’t read or write. He raised 3 girls all by himself and maintained a household by owning a house.
