Will this method still work with the newer iOS 17.5.1 ? Is this the easiest way to do it and what’s the cheapest programmer that you can use? Any way around not using a programmer?
It can happen sometimes. When it happened to me, I just repeated the process with a new flex cable and it fixed it. Probably something wrong with the flex.
I am starting to get into self repairs and mods. TIL that there is warning about 3rd party battery usage. Thanks for the heads up mate.
Will this still be effective even after you restore or reset the iPhone.

u have to connect charger when u change the battery cell to activate the bms protection mode to normal mode
Thank you!
I want to get one of those logic board re programmers but dont know how much they go for?
if you talk about the JC V1SE i used, it goes for around $300. The boards cost extra or you can get them as a bundle.
Are u gonna replace the screen too, by the way nice video
For sure, but at that time I didn't have the spare part. Thank you for appreciating!
@@ilegacy862 you're welcome 😊
Good video. Are you able to remove the flex cable then and reuse it for another battery change?
You don’t need to remove it. All information are stored in that flex.
What ios is the phone running on?
16.5
Bro first replace the screen 😅
I had a problem it shows 100% but it has a important battery message
