I just turned 30 last week. I used to sit and watch this video junior year of high school. I had just qualified for this program called running start. I got to do my last two years of college in high school. I remember, I was so scared. But my first day walking up I had to the sea plane. It had just dropped couple days before and it was my first listen. I remember I heard this song and they gave me peace. Hey guys, we are getting old. I know that you are maybe a year or two younger than me maybe one or two more. But don’t feel like we are obsolete. Life is amazing and it has turns. I mean holy shit I met my wife the other day. And this song, this many years after he got posted was an instrumental piece in that.
Can't believe how much time has passed by since this was made. Miss when Jack was putting out new music. It gets harder, though, when you have kids and you've made all the money you'll ever need.
Rediscovered this song on my way home from work after a long day/week and it made me feel a lot better! The best songs and artists are usually so underrated. Probably because Jack Johnson is so humble and not really into self-promotion too :)

I listened to it on my way from work- on my Friday so after the 40 hr work week- it made me cry as I was singing along and really listening to the chorus

@captainsack25 It's called "melodica", you can find really cheap ones. It's kind of a flute, but it has keyboard keys, making it easier to play if you don't know flute. You blow through the little tube it has, and play the keys and that's it. It's really fun, you should get one!
