Finally watched this run from top to bottom and it's fantastic! The only way I can think to even make significant improvement on it would be to get early Dragon Mail? (Also so honored that double firewall jump strat is mentioned in WR video =D .)

@@tinahacks I think I just gonna learn this route first so that I can get used to the game mechanics and enemies. Then learn faster routes. I also just joined the discord
also two questions, why bother going through the entire underground area? why not get the magic saber as mouse man and then get the early bird and just go to town?
That's a really good question! You might have noticed that once you transform away from the bird, it's no longer available anymore since it's not actually *UNLOCKED*. Since we require both the bird and lion (which is also conveniently unlocked when we unlock bird!) for the final castle, we end up having to go through that area completely.

I was wondering why you switch between the old and new art styles before boss fights. Does it make the door open faster?
Mara, the new style shows a little intro picture for every boss fight, so switching to old style saves some time.
