As I heard it have ONLY 4Mb ram. It explains internal memory failures. Battery indicator lie to you too, it can be full and after minute it says it is empty then full again. Manual focus change in camera may freeze phone for up to 3 minutes. Sometimes it may randomly turn in and stay like that not turning screen off while not responding any commands unless you take out battery. If you ignore that I said, phone is usable. In overALL it is functional phone but with way too low performance.
I am an LG Arena user , I rate this phone 6.5 out of 10 , it seldom hangs , restarts by itself , has faded inbox messages kept appearing even there was no unopened incoming message , abit hard to adapt to the touch screen especially typing messages , looking up for contacts is occasionally troublesome , when memory is almost full , it tends to be laggy , when it lags , it respons slow and hard for fussy
It was a nice upgrade from LG KU990i. It had a good display, good camera (480p video recording) and the feature I really liked was the FM transmitter. A really good phone for 2009. :)

depends on what u want. if u want a ouch phone with apps go for iphone but if u want a phone with all the modern functionality a touch phone is suppose to have then go for it. videos recorded with phone is in dvd format. does just a tip of an iceberg. sometimes i get mad with it though
Screen is smaller than usual phones, that means keys are smaller too. It have really nice FM transmitter, with headphones if you put it on radio it can let you use radio as sound output, that is one of rare functions I enjoyed on phone, BUT fun with fm transmitter ruins low battery. I like the weight and metallic feel, but it heats alot .... It charges fast so as battery is low capacity. It does not allow apps larger than 25 mb, what clearly is not enough.
@x3krisssti part two ... it's smaller and more practical, the SOUND IS VERY CLEAR, and when you connect it to the computer, you can save WHATEVER YOU HAVE ON THE PHONE, THE SMS MSG, EMAILS ETC. @niels2029 apparently the viewty camera sucks, but then again it has optical zoom as where this phone does not. the touch on this phone IS better, it is capacitive meaning you can only use your finger, as where the viewty is resistive meaning you have to physically push the screen. also this phone has wifi. overall i think for the price the viewty is better for a normal phone user, the arena is more meant for someone who wants the next best thing to a smart phone.
Amazing to think that at one point LG were making abysmal phones like the Arena (Which I had), and have now evolved to making one of the best phones on the market in the Google Nexus 4 (Which I have). Some turnaround.

The prices today- £300 (approx) new on PAYG, I would recommend contracts and order it online you can get 200 mins 200 texts for as cheap as £14 a month on T-Mobile. DO NOT GET THIS PHONE ON ORANGE. They replace some applications and add there own, they slow down the phone so unless you are really desperate try as hard as possible not to go on orange. (Just advice you can do what you like though)
How is with that battery ? It is really 3-4h talk time ? If so , it is awful compared even to my oldest phones 7h ... As I understand it is pretty durable and gorilla glass protects screen , so other good features too . Camera is not best too ...

Apart from that, you can also read documents It has the option of choosing what to protect with the security code, and you can activate it when the phone starts, when you change the Simcard or immediately... I have a LG KM900 and i can only tell you this much, IT ROCKS... It's much more sexier that the other touchscreens... to be continued
@daoping you are totally wrong, ive had mine for 2 years, and ive had nothing that you say here, its not slow, its very fast actually, pictures are instant, music is better then ive ever heard because of Dolby digital, earphones a wonderful, though mine got broken soonly after, i always do that ;) though now i'äd get something newer ;p

It has 4 different ''desktops'' which i found rather confusing. The touchscreen is fast but its easy to touch the wrong button and also it doesnt work with anything else than your fingers. It doesnt even work when you wear gloves for example. Typing a message and answering calls is hard and also the phone keeps restarting. Camera is ok.

Phone was decent lots of fun loved the MP3 player was soo good music sounded so sweet! Better than iPhone 3GS.. Camera was ok only thing I hated was the no connectivity to PC except thru Bluetooth! Arena was pretty great though I loved this little phone until it broke and the screen was no longer responsive when I dropped it :( I hated texting on it though lol it took forever to type on it
i wouldnt direclty say the jet is better but i think its much faster cuzz of the 800mHz processor but the jet is more expensiver so if you want a good phone for a good price i would choose the arena but do you want to pay a little bit more i would choose the jet

on the top their is a little push button and if you push it you can remove the back cover

If you hold it horizontally when writing a message, the phone keys turn into qwerty keys.

The glass is so reflective, you can barely see the screen. This must be the greatest flaw with the phone. It has a lot to offer though.
It does support upto a 32GB micro SD card.

get the phone purchase whatever headphones you like online for a few quid. It has 3.5mm jack it is compatible with like all of them :)
