    Followed Patty for years, did a online fan club for her in the1990's early 2000's. So proud of her, well deserved and long overdue.

      @@luismiguel0fficial I'm from Kentucky and very happy to see the much deserved Patty Loveless get inducted into the Hall Of Fame and to you Mr . Guitar Shredder your one of my absolute favorite guitarist ever . And I still watch a video on my playlist where Chet Atkins called in and requested you to play a song and you certainly done it justice .

    I consider myself lucky to have seen Tanya and Patty perform many many times since the beginning of their careers.
    Highlights for me include long chats with Tanya and sitting next to Patty and chatting with her at an ACM after party dinner in LA.

    Congrats to Patty and Tanya, but let us not forget the songwriters, for without them there would be no noise coming from 16th Avenue in Nashville ( Music Row). So congrats to Bob McDill as well.

    If you'd heard some of the titles of Bob McDill's songs -- great country classics like "Gone Country," "Amanda,"," "Good Old Boys Like Me," "She Doesn't Know She's Beautiful," "Song of the South," "Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On," "Don't Close Your Eyes," and many, many more, you'd probably be celebrating his Country Music Hall of Fame induction too.

    Wow, never thought I’d see the day country fans attacking each other. Shows us the effect that the divider in chief has filled their hearts with so much hate they attack one another. Sad to see our country so full of haters. Love country music and the extremely talented folks new and old that pour their soul out to entertain us. We all have our favorites and are disappointed when some of them seem to go unnoticed, but that is no reason to attack each other for a difference of opinion.

    WHERE IS EDDIE RABBIT???? Eddie’s songwriting alone more than qualifies him for the CMA Hall !! Add his singing along with his recording innovations & he has more reasons than 1/3 of the people in there. I hope the CMHOF doesn’t become a sham & joke like the rock hall.

    • @dmarx600
      @dmarx600 Год назад +2

      1,000% agree !!! With Eddie and the countless other artists that get passed over, their selection process makes no sense. I believe they disrespect the great artists that they snub or ignore every year. I don’t know who’s running the joint but if they think todays current artists represent country, then good luck to the future of the hall.

  • @cuteindianaboi4

    Same people like this should have been in there a long time ago that's been singing for forty years or more should have been there in a long time yet you get somebody that's not even been singing 10 or 15 years and they get voted right in that doesn't even sing traditional country

  • @williamchurch4960
    @williamchurch4960 Год назад +2

    Congratulations Vince! Personally I would have told them to stick it after disrespecting the 3 children & 3 adults murdered at the Covenant Church. They couldn't even give grieving families time to digest without bringing more pain!!!!!

      Eileen, usually the fans show up on the Induction Ceremony Day and wait outside for the new Inductees and all the other Country Music singers and musicians to show up. Kinda like the Red Carpet Event. Always in October.

    If country music and its stars continue to trend toward woke then they WILL GO BROKE!! I didn’t watch the country awards that were on last night. Glad I didn’t! Most people complained that they were so ridiculous that they would never again watch and that they were done with country altogether. Was it that bad?Some said they would switch over to gospel music because it it more relatable. Since I didn’t see the showI can only tell about the comments I read. SO, CMA, take notice. Country music fans are riled up and very upset with the artists and their music.

      The Awards Show that took place on Sunday, April 2, 2023 was not the CMA Awards or the ACM Awards. The Country Music Television (CMT) Awards was the Event that was televised on CBS on April 2nd. Your description of the show is accurate. I felt exactly the same way about the show. Most of the Country Music Artists that I look forward to seeing at the CMA Awards Show every November did not attend the Event except for Carrie Underwood.
