Install video of a Midland MXT275 in a 2021 Ford Bronco using a factory installed Aux switch.
The Purple/Green wire I reference at the beginning of the video is for the Aux 3 switch. If you want to connect it to a different Aux switch, instead of the purple/green wire, just use the color wire for the switch you want to hook it up to instead (you can find the wiring color key in your owner's manual).

Title of your video is most appropriate. This is absolutely the cleanest install I have seen. Great job. An inspiration for my Midland radio installation.

Just completed your install instructions on my BD today. Clean and simple! Thanks for the video.

Nice job on the installation! For someone with little experience making videos, you sure shot a lot of useful footage. I like your angle on the clean installation. I'm probably going to use an upfitter switch on mine as well. The center console panel removal instructions are particularly valuable as I've never taken that apart before. That space on the center console where you chose to place the socket is ideal. Thanks for the great video!

Great video! I'm getting ready to do a similar install and this video was very helpful -- also love the CAT 5 connection. Great work.

Well done! Thank you for the video, I'd love to see how you shorten the antenna wire.

Looks great. I have the center console completely removed for a dynamat install now. I was eyeballing that spot last night wondering if it would fit there but hadn't received the radio yet to verify. Had been looking at other videos installing above the glove box, but then your video popped up this morning. I just got notification that the radio was delivered to the shop, so I guess I know what I'll be working on tonight.

Good luck with it! It is a fun install.
Also, FYI, you'll find that the volume on the speaker isn't sufficient when installed in the center console, but you can change the settings to where the hand mic is a speaker as well. Highly recommend changing to that setting.

I replaced all factory components. For mids and highs I went with Morel Virtus 603s, and for the subs I went with 2 6.5" Ground Zero subs. All powered by a JL Audio 900w amplifier. The sound quality is unbelievable. If Bose actually made stereos that could go loud enough to hurt your ears, this is what it would sound like lol

Awesome install! About to do the same myself thanks to this video. Where did you get the cat5e Jack with the hardware to mount it to the console? I'm used to installing it on walls/outlets not as familiar with how to mount it to a flat panel
Nevermind, I found your post on Bronco 6G and have all the information I need. Thanks again for figuring this out

I just added the entire parts list with links to the video description. The Cat5e Extension I got from Amazon.
The Cat5e jack doesn't require any hardware to install. You just cut a square hole to size and it clips in place.
If you do not want to go through the hassle of cutting a square hole, which can be challenging, there are round versions as well that you can install by just drilling a round hole with a drill bit. However, as you may be able to tell from my install, I am a particular person and preferred the look of the square jack. Last piece of advice on the jack, make sure when you install the jack that the cable tab is facing a direction that you can easily use your thumb to manipulate. (Notice how the tab on the jack is facing up in my tray)
Good luck with your install! Let me know if you have any further questions.

@KhoiCPhish Maybe try putting on some gloves that have good grip in the palm. And when you pull, pull directly upward in a fast, almost jerking motion. It is just retaining clips holding it in place and sometimes the fast, jerking force will cause them to release whereas smooth, steady force will not.
