  • Many times, people struggling with the scrupulous disorder/Religious OCD/Moral Scrupulosity, see sin around every corner, in every situation, and somehow part of every feeling. This teaching helps to place sin into a more balanced context.

This helped me realize how I need to train my brain to not always see sin in my thoughts, conversations, etc. I'll be checking out the mindfulness video. Thank you, Father!

Father Santa, your book changed my life. I found it early enough to prevent my rigid formation from becoming a spiritual disability. Thank you for what you do. God bless you!

Father Thomas I am a Person With OCD/Scrupulosity. The last 2 or 3 minutes of your sermon has given me such a peace of mind. Saying no sin has been committed, being a Scrupulous person. I needed to hear that from you. Not from someone who doesn’t know my illness or lacks the knowledge. I will still going to confession regularly, not giving judgement on myself. But will confess my indiscretions as obstacles. God makes the judgement what he thinks is or isn’t a sin. Ty Father Thomas your what I was looking for. 🙏

Your insights help restore a balanced experience of the faith, despite all the public shaming and rhetoric out there. So even if one doesn't have OCD, your talks are extremely edifying. So glad I found your channel. Thank you and God Bless You.

Thank you for your video. I must admit though, I left the video a little more confused than before. Can you give some more concrete examples of what was sinful in the past that isn't now? What do you mean when you say everything is subject to change and development? Gender, freedom, and others concepts or realities are developing? Do things like adultery or theft also change and develop? I'm looking for clarity thanks for your input.

Everything can develop, which is technically different from change. As for your first question, being an actor used to be condemned as sinful, same with charging interest.

The attachment to Veinal Sin. I have OCD/Scrupulosity without a doubt. I am working on managing the illness. I very much want to gain Plenary Indulgences for souls & for myself. I go to confession, mass and say 3 prayers for the intention of the Holy Father, but having the attachment to Venial Sin (as everyone has.) no Plenary indulgence can be gotten. So in Fact no Plenary Indulgences can never be gotten. This is ridicules. Oh, a partial indulgence can be had. Come on Holy Father free everyone from this Chang. Open the gates of Purgatory and punishment from
Sin. Father Thomas what is your opinion. Ty. Ralph

But how do we know if a grave wrong is a mortal sin or not?
