    Im listening to talk about Cape Town township. Just this week a colleague got killed, I don’t know for what. The week before we were driving in Khayelitsha around 1/2 in the afternoon and they was a dead body literally laying on the street, it was my first time see such and everyone else was just normal and the kids were playing as if nothing was wrong. It’s bad bad, I’m originally from KZN and we don’t have there.

    Joburg used to be like that, especially tembisa where i grew up but now in all our streets corners there's nyawupe boys, and they ask people some change just to feed their addiction of drugs, they even help to carry your your bags or groceries. Because they know you're going to give them some money really we don't have gangsters and i say big up to community radio stations like VOT and others.

  • @SirTerryZW
    @SirTerryZW Год назад +32

    It's not that Cape Town is more dangeruous than Joburg but Nkululeko's experience is based off the fact that he grew up in one of the worst places in Cape Town - Nyanga and then he moved to Joburg as a middle-class person staying in a complex, with a stable job, etc.
    I would say CT is safer because if you have money you get to have a very different experience of the city... safety, nice beaches, tourist hotspots, multiracial communities, etc. However, in Joburg you can never truly buy your safety because even in Sandton you can get robbed.

    • @kabelokhoza4926
      @kabelokhoza4926 Год назад

      Exactly, joburg has no real safe areas, whereas Cape Town there’s green safe areas and red danger areas, what he’s comparing the whole joburg to is the dangerous areas of Cape Town not the whole Cape Town.
