Agree with other comments on German vs Sweden Salary. My sister and brother-in-law are in Germany and my wife and I work in Sweden. All four of us are, more or less, in the same type of work/domain with similar years of experience. From what I see, with 12-15 years of work experience, getting 80-120K sek per month is relatively easier in IT in Germany whereas one needs to mostly get into consulting roles in Sweden to earn that much (or get into management roles which is pretty tough due to the language barrier). (Though outside work, Sweden does have a lot of other benefits like childcare, more English adoption, etc :) )
👌. In Sweden, if you want financial benefits, it is better to do self employment and manage money within company. It is worthless to go for higher figures since taxes are progressive
It all depends on what are you looking for! Low salary can be a challenge but if you are looking for more balanced life and taking care of your son - then it is worth a chance. Thanks.
@@sunyalex3534 Mainly due to language. @user-bj9ge3bn6l In sweden, you make a centralised application for selected course for master! You can refer www.universityadmissions.se I wont be able to say it’s difficult or easy but in IT it shall be higher number of students applying so try playing around the semester you want to apply-in. Refer the above website! Thanks!
Hi, Sweden and UK are very different from each other so it is very difficult for to suggest something to you. It’s all about personal preference. Considering Stockholm vs London - Stockholm is more reserved and London is more lively. Difficult to make friends in Sweden compared to UK. so it is difficult to suggest. Thanks for your support.
Thank you for adding your inputs, I agree on cost of Living, but I am not so sure on pay part.. I have couple of friends in Germany also the reports I read says otherwise.. but thr can be certain jobs or profiles which might get paid well in Germany than Sweden..
Thank you for the information, the last part regarding tax from each persons salary, isn't it based on what each person get? Or is it based on cumulative salary? I understand what you wanted to say, but had a confusion.
Agree with you .. Taxes r dependent on individuals income for sure , but Sweden works on progressive Taxes , Tax rates are higher for those with higher income or higher wealth .. so technically tax rates will be higher for someone who is earning more compared to the one who is earning less..
If you are single then it shall work for you. If you are with a non working partner and a child then it might be neck to neck considering you want to save something every month! It is very subjective, thanks!
@@amminiammaproductions7639 From my perspective living in Sweden i can assure you getting paid 50k SEK per month is more than enough( as long as your house rent isn't expensive). including if you have family who doesn't work.
Actually it's not 😊. It's the cheapest Scandinavian country ( Norway, Denmark, Iceland are more expensive). Finland not being a Scandinavian, but a neighbouring country is in many cases more expensive as well. Switzerland could be considered as the most expensive country in the world. But also salaries there are 2-3 times higher than in Sweden. In Sweden even a person getting a lot of money tax burden will take you almost everything. All should be equal in Sweden which imo is not quite fair.

Hello Mam,
Which tax area is applicable for Ludvika
Ludvika has its own tax area. You can use tax calculator on Skatteverket’s website. Thanks

If you are employed by a swedish employer registered in sweden then “No”.. there can be other situations in which you can get paid in Euros or USD.
