Where is Myron's Bakery? Where is Blue Hills Avenue? These are the streets of my childhood. I grew up in East Hartford but my father's older brother lived on Blue Hills Avenue so we visited often. I will never forget being in Myron's, taking a ticket, waiting for our order to be taken. Where else would you get rye bread or pumpernickel? So many pleasant memories of Blue Hills Avenue, then all the way up to Mt Sinai where my children were born, or Mt St Benedict where my relatives are laid to rest. I'll tell you, it looked way worst in the 1960s.
