I'm an old lady, but in my heart and soul, I believe the best music came out in the '60s, '70's and '80s! Whenever I feel down and blue, I will listen to those eras. I even got my grandchildren loving to the "oldies" but goodies.

The best roll out, as you say, was definitely the 70's because there was a boom of singer-songwriters unlike any other era, and the diversity of music was endless. Radio stations also were free to support who they liked back then. The historical significance of that time is lost on younger generations due to technology, and you guys weren't there (no shade).

This is a remake by Michael Bolton. The original artist is Percy Sledge and he is black. You might be mixing them up. When you first heard it, it might have been Percy Sledge. I always say “If you can’t remake it to do it better-Don’t touch it.” But Michael touched the $hit out of this song. ❤I still love the original but Lawd….I love Michael Bolton’s voice!!
