I'm an old lady, but in my heart and soul, I believe the best music came out in the '60s, '70's and '80s! Whenever I feel down and blue, I will listen to those eras. I even got my grandchildren loving to the "oldies" but goodies.

Please stay in the 60s to the early 90s. Music went to hell after that.
You're gonna hear music that'll take you to new places that you would've never thought you'd go to.
Enjoy young man - it's so worth it ❤
An idea to start with - The Carpenters!

Yes I'm an 80s girl - (without a doubt) but i think you need to go back a little further to see how music changed throughout the years and you'll understand what i mean.

Michael, did a great job on this song, it's a old Percy Sledge, song from way back in the day you should also listen to Home Free, do this same song all acapella think you'll be surprised at how good the sound without musical instruments, not to mention Austin, absolutely nails it with his voice! Give it a try. Thanks

The best roll out, as you say, was definitely the 70's because there was a boom of singer-songwriters unlike any other era, and the diversity of music was endless. Radio stations also were free to support who they liked back then. The historical significance of that time is lost on younger generations due to technology, and you guys weren't there (no shade).

This is a remake by Michael Bolton. The original artist is Percy Sledge and he is black. You might be mixing them up. When you first heard it, it might have been Percy Sledge. I always say “If you can’t remake it to do it better-Don’t touch it.” But Michael touched the $hit out of this song. ❤I still love the original but Lawd….I love Michael Bolton’s voice!! If you want more subs going back in history and reacting to artists is a good way to raise your subs. Artists such as Elvis (and you will learn what you have probably heard about him isn't true. Watch the documentaries ElvisandTheBlackCommunity 1 & 2, Elvis Generous Heart, 200 Cadillacs), Patsy Cline's Crazy, Righteous Brothers Unchained Melody, Home Free (this group are acapella and mind blowing) When A Man Loves A Woman, Man Of Constant Sorrow and The Butts remix to start. Johnny Cash's version of Hurt, Journey's Faithfully, Bee Gee's To Much Heaven (warning thier voices will blow your mind). That's just a few to start with. All guaranteed to get you more subs.

Dude if you like this then you gotta listen to “ Homefree’s “ version. They are an Acapella group but you can’t tell music isn’t playing. They even did Boys to men’s “ End of the road “. FYI. Their fans are called Homefries and they are very loyal. If you start listening to their catalog your subs will quadruple or more. You’ll get to 5K in no time . It’s good music. It’s a rabbit hole that is amazing. You will be shocked.
In general Most of the really good music is late 60’s to about 95. After that it’s pretty crappy and mostly sampled
