This was really great. I've been curious how much people earn on youtube and most don't talk about it. I just had your latest van tour show up in suggested videos since I've been looking at a bunch of "van life" content lately. Really nice work you two do!
I just discovered you guys. Funny thing is, I know there is no way I could survive van life. I just value 45 min hot showers way too much. Regardless, just the fact that you guys seem honest and vulnerable about this lifestyle has been very helpful. This video in particular was very helpful. I've thought about doing RUclips for Engineering. We'll see. Thanks for the video!
New subscriber here. I loved you van build series and now I’ve learned a lot about how RUclips works from this video. Thanks for sharing all this great info.
What draws me to a particular van build video is somewhere between the title and a nice clean shot of an appealing build, or an interesting informative "hook". I can't stand the kichy "WOWzers!" looking dumb pics, or overly emoted pics of the RUclipsr. Kee it real, and thanks for the insight.
You are both awesome, loved all videos if seen from you so far. I'm from Germany and found you because one of your videos was shared on a German website about camper vans.
Thanks for the reminder 😅 We're working away on a new build and definitely struggle to keep up on the video side of things sometimes. At the minimum we'll have a new van tour this summer!
My biggest comment toward growing your channel is and making more is videos of your trips , where you went, what you did, scenery, what went right and what went wrong. Was it free? What did it cost? If something went wrong how did you fix it? Doing this might help get more views as well as inspiration for others to get their van life started. For the fun, freedom, experiences, and living a life you wanted, making money from RUclips will make the film/edit/post chore worth it all. At least you are not tied to one place with a mortgage you will never be free from!
You guys do great work - a little different than a lot of vans out there, which is a great thing! Good aesthetic, well thought out layouts. And you're both really good presenters! Hopefully your RUclips channel will just keep getting bigger for you guys. Can't wait to see what you've got planned - another van build? 🙂
@@jenniejames Yes, it was very insightful! Now I'm just wondering how you got to so many subscribers from zero. Is it just 'keep posting and asking in every video to subscribe', or did you actively work on that outside your channel/outside RUclips/outside the internet? By the way, I whish it would 'only' cost me 5 hours for a video! I still hope to get better and faster at it!
Found you from Nate's channel. I'll watch and help pay your rent.

One reason is that James is a ginger and as cute as a button, so my non binary boyfriend says
☺️ I’m blushing
Thanks for all the tips and encouragement. I start to get discouraged also most of the time. So this helps. Love your van it’s so beautiful!!!
Thanks Cheyenne! We know how easy it is to get discouraged, but just keep going! 😊
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 consistency is key congrats you guys!
Thank you! ❤️ it’s tough to stick with it but getting some momentum feels awesome!
