- Walking in Dresden, the capital of the state of Saxony. Dresden earned its named "Jewel Box" for its many ornate baroque buildings and museums. It hasn't been discovered by tourists outside of Europe really, so it's way less busy than other Germany cities, like Berlin.
There are few city silhouettes more striking than Dresden’s. It's hard to believe that the city was all wiped off the map by bombings in 1945.
I wasn't able to find the reason for the fireworks that happened on the night I was there. Enjoy this Dresden walk through.

There is every evening round about 10 p.m. a firework for tourists.
The larger private fireworks happen very often, my guess is 75 days per year. Some guys and companies don't need a deeper reason.
If you are in Dresden between 15th and 22nd May 2022 it was the fireworks from 50th Jazzfestival „International Dixieland Festival Dresden“.
@@u2goDD Oh yeah that was it. There was so many boats with Jazz bands on them, it was awesome :)

I love Dresden, however, this video was a bit boring to watch… just stroll trough the city and bad shots…
That's the point of the video. Walking. There are other youtube channels where you'll find narated videos that pick the best of the best of a city. This one's just to walk :) Kinda like an ASMR
