Thank you for watching! If you are looking for a change in play style this is a great way to get your foot in the door for black/navy game play. Without the cost. The harder cards to find would be the OP04 Sabos but other then that this deck is super cheap as a base set and honestly if you wanted to add some of those AA's they don't cost that much either.
I need to play the navy package more for sure but I have a soft spot for Kaido and the beast pirates lol. The game play of this deck profile flows closer to the starter deck for sure. But the Jack/Rebecca combo is just so strong.
Both are very strong, The full meta navy version is very hard for new players to have access to the cards to and also very very pricey compared to this build. Most of the cards in this build can be found with in the last 3 sets. It will also come down to play style for myself I was never really played the navy package. So when I was learning and playing starter deck the animal package felt closer to how that played.
NP friend it's a fun deck once you start understanding the lines. It's a great entry into the cost reduction style of black deck. Also one of the easier to build decks with it being so much of the current set :)
The Lucci gang is strong I've had a few of my local pal requesting to buy a full set of the Bob Lucci Square Pants sleeves for their deck :) for some these are not just don sleeves! We will be giving a bunch of these away for the 1k Sub celebration and have pre-orders soon after
I think this deck might be a bad matchup into Red/Purple Kid. I was testing on sim today and I don't see a way for this deck to remove 10 cost shanks reliably unless it somehow gets ahead and can afford to spend 3-6 don.
I haven't faced too many R/P Kid yet. The Shanks is sounding menacing for sure. Most match up will have to spend 3 to 6 don for sure to get rid of him. Blue would have the easiest way to do so by using red roc that burns 6 don. The only line in this would have to be an established Robin into Sanji, or a combo of apoo or Sasaki into Jack. or Apoo/Saski into a Kaido.
Bob Lucci Square Pants art work is so cool! The artist and I put in a lot of work into this. I will have a full video made up on the process of all the new merch coming up for our 1K sub celebration. Will be raffling off and mailing out a ton of prizes including these sleeves. We may need to turn these into Don cards, shirts and hats to if we have interests in them.
Only strawhats get +1 by the stage (misspoke for sabo being a 7cost) and the new kaido doesn’t clear jack because jack is an 11 cost on the board. Doesn’t work without 6 cost Robin on the field or ice age with kaido. Edit: you DID mention the kaido jack interaction 🥳
Interesting build with the animal kingdom stuff. Is that cuz you want to search for jack ? I just built the kuzan, gecko, ice age build, haven’t play tested it yet though lol. Interesting build!
This was more to create a fun build that a lot more people can access. Most of this build other then 4 cards types. You are able to build with just your ST14 and the OP08 set. I have enjoyed play testing this deck and is a strong consideration for future large events :)
I got you friend! These are the ST14 cards, 4xST14-003 4xST14-007 2xST14-012 4xST14-017 The others will mostly be from OP08, with the Sabo coming from OP04. and the brooks from EB-01
I will have it up soon, We will be testing the deck in the locals gauntlet. Want to be able to provide as much information into strategies into all the match ups. I do have a bunch of live cam testing/sim testing footage also. I will be releasing to go with the updated deck profile. So happy to see people are interested into one of my most favourite leader. I've been updating Blurple Kaido every season since I've started to play since OP04
Do you have any gameplay of this deck? I’m new and never played against anyone but this is my first deck that I built very close to a TCG shop with OP tournaments just don’t wanna show up without knowing how to play
One piece players are normally super nice and happy to help teach any new players! you should 100% at lease go watch and hit up a local and just start playing!
If you're running Geckos you will most likely need to run the navy build of this deck. Gecko tech is so you can run Rebecca and bring back jack with her. If you have most of the animal pirates cards for this build. You will have to more or less, add extra 3 cost Brook, 8 cost Sabo, 9 Cost Kaido and or 8 Cost Luffy as a filler until you can find more jack cards. I will be testing the navy package soon. I'll have to see if I'm able to build a more hybrid animal/navy build of this deck in the future.

I was running this build till I got my navy cards in its definitely a more affordable option and runs great ❤

100% the last build was with OP07, This been up dated for OP08 and jack is a broken card.

what can you replace Gecko and Jack by? I only have 2 Geckos and 1 Jack yet
