What I know what I notice is that these bosses show the reference of the entire heisei era for example biollante was Godzilla's first enemy in the movies and move on to the king ghidorah in the next movie and to mothra to MechaGodzilla (all tho he looks completely different) to M.O.G.U.E.R.A (same reason to mechagodzilla completely different) to SpaceGodzilla to Destroyah these things reference the following events of all the movies Godzilla battle in the entire Heisei era to the beginning all the way to the end.
Read the otger comment's, all the Kaiju in this game are designed after their concept art all of these design's are on the poster for each of their film's.
