I used that line of thoght although I didn't remember all the abcde and i meneged to avoid drinking, so thats awsome next time ill need a reminder of it ill come here, this one goes to my recovery playlist
These videos make a GREAT reference but the background music can be a bit much. Music got much louder in the end of this video and I couldn't hear the content.
Hi. Just discovered SMART last night. Question: Are there obtainable transcripts of these RUclips videos? Reason: I am 65. It is hard to grasp everything said quickly on these. I would like the opportunity to read stop think and hopefully absorb. Let me know. I'm not sure how to find this answer but I will come back and check periodically. Thank you.
@@SmartRecoveryUSA hey.. thank you for that very quick response! I will look into that. I just signed up for the online community and I will look and to this resource you've been kind enough to mention.
@@SmartRecoveryUSA ~ Relapsed after 20 years. Fortunately SMART was there for me. I will now apply the same principles I learned to lose weight and maintain my health. Thanks for all you do . ☺
1 - some "beliefs" ARE true, or are the result of life experience. 2 - you say nothing about HOW TO FIND/discover those untrue beliefs. It is not obvious at all & not easy to discover them!
Wouldn't it make more sense to say, "Tips & Tools for Recovery that Work"? That way the subject is "Tips & Tools" and not "Recovery." By definition, recovery works but not so tips and tools.
Yeah thanks for your note another person asked and yes you could make the argument that it should qualify the tips and tools but we wanted to qualify the word recovery as in your recovery works
ABC's are very powerful!! Great tool! - Lunaa
Great video. Keep them coming!
This is a great tool and a great film... :-)

Click the CC button on the lower right and they are captioned.
Or you could hit the pause button as needed. That's what I do.
Good luck ♡♡♡
Who is the presenter? He's so talented. I would like to have his public speaking skills.
Thx

How?! I have overeating problem too
Is there a fee if one joins SMART?
No fee. All meetings and online content is free of charge.
Funny how the abc’s are found in the AA textbook
Not everyone wants to be in AA though. 👍🏻
~ Not funny. _All_ recovery strategy has several basic principles in common.
Except AA is a cult nobody in smart recovery is interested in AA
