    The Pultec equalizer made its first appearance in the early 1950s.
    Mastering started the minute it was realized that precautions needed to be taken to keep a playback needle in a record groove, well over a CENTURY ago..

      Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

    If you remaster an album and like the original master better, then you have a problem.
