Ayup Jake good to see you out and about again, the bikes lookin pretty cool mate ,are they Dunlop Mutants you have on it ? really looking forward to seeing the new Triumph and your thoughts in comparison the your precious Street which was a great looking bike . So I am thinking the CCM is more a sort of a blat about bike for those long summer days on those country lanes .Have you considered a chain guard or do you think that would detract from the look and is there one available at all ? nice one 😉👌👍
Hi Malcolm yes great to get a run out around the countryside lanes, it’s where this bike mainly feels at home. The tyres are Mitas and very good tbh, there very sticky and retain the heat well…fills me full of confidence on the twisties. I’m not really to fussed about a chain and front sprocket guard as I think it would be moving away from its striped back look. I’m pretty sure there’s one available at a price. The triumph moto2 shouldn’t be too far off hopefully so fingers crossed as really looking forward to jumping on and comparing with the last one. Cheers 👍
Great video Jake, I have the stealth Bobber and took it out for its first ride this year just last week, and it started almost straight away after being plugged into the optimate charger for a few months. I did find though that the Avon Cobra tires had lost a lot of air, also I`m having problems with my bar end mirror on the throttle side moving quite alot when riding. I have tried to tighten it but it still seems to loose. Any suggestions?? After being out for about an hour I also noticed the breather on top of the rocker cover had a bit of smoke coming out of it, have you ever noticed this with yours. Many thanks glad you enjoyed it! Tyres do seem to loose a little air when sitting, I need to check mine tbh. Maybe applying a little loctite to the mirror bolt might be worth a try. I’ve never noticed any smoke from breather but I have had the occasional oil drops onto engine case. My engine breather is now pointing upwards, this seems to help. I’m totally enjoying the bike and can’t wait for the summer. Ride safe.
