Ballislife East X West "The Showdown" was an exciting battle between Team Nitty (Frank Nitty, Duke, Bionic, White Iverson, Deebones and Speedo) vs Team Milly (A-Milly, Cezar, Marcus, Ty Glover, Clamp God and Kenny Dobbs).
Zach got injured the day before so he wasn't able to participate, however he ended up commentating the game instead.

Shit talk aside, I think Nitty slowing the game down and creating shots for duke is what made him shine so much here. Duke usually with ECS has to ISO and make a play for himself and he doesn't seem to have high % shots like that. Wing setup 3s and quick drive pull ups are his bread and butter.

Imma be honest; "Monstar" just doesn't fit with the style of play of BIL. He can't keep up with all these fast players and gets annoyed about it and tries to overcompensate by being physical. That's not good. He also has a very limited move set and can really only back down in the paint or get a once in a while quick first step passed a defender, but he just doesn't really get to play to his abilities. Especially with him always being the tallest person on the court. Also, I'm all for talking shit when I hoop, but these are your friends my guy... You should never be trying to hurt your friends, no matter how competitive the game is. If you feel as if you can't be competitive with your friends and colleagues without hurting and treating them like they're randos at a rec then this isn't the thing for you lol. Watching him play with guys like this is just underwhelming for him, no offense.

I say this every video. He was embarrassed the first east vs west game. Since then he has worked on his shot and his fundamentals look great.
Some of these guys were missing shots they normally wouldn't, but I get the stakes were high. Great game regardless. Duke once again proves he is one of (if not the) best player on the court.

It's crazy how much better the game looks from this perspective the live is just a weird camera angle why can't the angles be like this in the live?
Live streaming is a lot more difficult than just picking up a camera and recording. The only reason they have good angles on all the shots is because about 3-5 camera men are spread out. Live signal would have to be sent through 5g, which compresses the quality, then it'll go to the main streaming computer to output it to the viewer which compresses it again. Not to mention it would be unstable, unless you want wires everywhere, more stable, better quality, but everyone would trip over the wires.

Tim Carter was a non factor and Ceasers jump shot was really off and his game was up and down....he had some good moments but was inconsistent throughout....there were also a lot of "bunny" layups missed...White Iverson toned it down and played pretty good defense for once in his life, and aside for a couple of his ridiculously long shots played pretty good team basketball. I wish they played a regular game with a game clock, I think that would have been much better...as for the refs, they were decent, not great but they were decent/respectable.

@@terrygrant9140 I didn't pay attention to him on defense for the whole game but the times that I did he was playing tough hard nosed defense. He can get away with playing bad defense in the parks where competition is not as good but when push comes to shove he can guard pretty well.
