@@TommyLGarage love the the cayenne but wife think it’s too big lol, also it’s little steep in our budget. I just feel x3m40i fits us better in terms of budget and size. Test drove the Audi sq5 and Volvo xc60, but they didn’t feel as sporty as the x3, imo. I’m just glad we are going to have a proper gas suv! Since we have other EV for commuting (model 3). Love the Tesla as commuter car but it just doesn’t give the sporty feeling. Was looking at model Y performance, but we don’t want to have 2 EVs plus they don’t look as good in person 😅

I completely agree, great minds think alike! F90 is definitely by far the best looking, most powerful BMW to date. Just the presence is phenomenal. I actually got to rent and drive a base 2022 M5 while out in Munich a couple months back and I can genuinely say the car is a monster. Ticks every box, all around amazing car.

Welcome back to the family brother. I guessed halfway through your list that you either got a new X3M or the M5, either of which are solid choices. Your M3 videos have helped me a lot when it came to building my f80 M3 so I'm excited to see this build progress.
X3m was somehow never considered. Too small

The best BMW ever made is the E39 M5, or E46 M3 (CSL!). I would even prefer a mint E60 M5 over this with the mighty V10 engine.
I think this is the best blend of tech, power and reliability

Hands down one of my favorite BMW's to date! I too HATE the new idrive full screen. It just doesn't feel like a typical car cockpit if you will. Glad to see you back in an M! Been following you since day 1 of you bringing home your F80! Congrats on the new beautiful M5!

I know what you mean about the gauges being separate from the media. My wife has a 22 m340i and I don’t like that either. We just drove a 24 x5 and it has the new long screen and I don’t care for it while driving. It’s pretty to look at. I prefer my old school looking gauges w the trim rings like in fortes f90 u drove. 😁

I totally agree what you said about the looks!!! The G80/2s and the newest 5 series are just look like shit, never a fan of those oink grills or vertical ugly grills, and never a fan of the Toyota Camry kinda look

I swear you're my east coast car cousin. I looked at ALL OF THE SAME cars. I ended up getting a 2021 ram trx! It's my first truck. Still in my garage is an e92 m3, a bmw x7 as well as my daily driver.
To this day I still miss my manual f80 m3 in yas marina.

I'm with you Tommy - current M5 looks miles better than current M3. Congrats on the purchase! I'm currently BMW-less after selling my F80, but eyeballing M5's. Even the last gen M5 is still gorgeous! Keep up the vids. I'll be watching.

Im very happy to see that you still have great taste. I followed you from your amazing videos with the F80, got one as well, and kept the subscription because you taught me a lot and also I got to know Kies bc of you! Porsche is a great machine but not as fun to drive as bmw… you can drift a Porsche, if you have skillz, but those were made to grip. Bmw basically invites you to drift and gives confidence ;) hehe

personal opinoin, im also a lot younger than you. but the digital screen, idrive 8 was the big selling point for me lol. I was gonna get a amg if idrive8 weren't out. So I end up getting that same 23 M340i lci in your video. Nice M5C btw

You speak my language, sir. I bought an F90 M5 Comp last year and ownership has been a pleasure. I dislike the all digital dash, I appreciate the buttons in the cold weather and it is one car for all seasons. I can turn up to a business meeting and “look the business” and be taken seriously. I can go out with my wife for a meal and look like a gentleman. But I can still be a hooligan on the backroads, when I want to. It’s perfect. Enjoy!

M3 face looks great to me. No manual is a big thumbs down. Agree on lack of wrap around display. I can’t stand the lazy wrap display.

@TommyLGarage I've been too spoiled lol, don't get me wrong it's a great car I owned one and it's one of my favourite cars ever but despite having every generation M5 from the E39, I'd without doubt put the E60 M5 above all because V10 is V10 it's a true legend 👌 I have had over 10 BMWs including 6 M cars and there's a reason I only kept the E60 to this day.
My top 5 is:
E60 M5 (mine is fully loaded with a custom genuine Akrapovic exhaust which was never made for this car, only the M6, Eventuri carbon intakes and their prototype full carbon plenum)
E92 M3 Competition (modified exhaust and full Eventuri intake/plenum)
E46 M3 CSL
E30 M3
Z8
Closely after that I'd put F90 M5 CS, 1M, E39 M5, 507 - all of which I have either been luckily enough to own, drive or been driven in.

e-park brake controlled by ecu and will auto engage, no true manual mode (will not bounce off rev limiter and still auto shifts), neutral lock out between N and D, over the top bling and power everything (lots-o-electric motors). Is the bump shift backwards? I'm very interested in your mods and ability to tweak settings with Bimmercode, etc...@@TommyLGarage

Love this car. This is the only good car they make now. Used to be the M2 but that's a disaster now. Not a huge fan of the black wheels, I think traditional silver will set it off nicely! Great options on it too.
