Agreed. I just ordered one, and it says "backordered." With NO indication of when they might become available. The only folks with them are the big RUclips demo guys. Probably sent out before the COVIDs.

Can I use this without a laptop or PC straight out of the box? I currently don't own either of those (because I don't have a use for one) and I want to purchase the Pod Go in the future. I understand that it will have updates in the near future that require a computer but I would like to know if it has to be connected to one before using it
You can hook it up to an amp/speaker combo. You'll have access to the presets and can adjust and create your own, but you won't be able to download and install any custom presets without a computer. Don't quote me on this as being this simple. In theory, it should be, but it also has fx loop send and return as well.
For sure...you can go straight into a FRFR speaker, amp, or headphones. You can do all your editing directly on the unit, though the PC editor interface is very nice to use as well.
@@shannonjennings1454 STEREO send and return FX loop, major plus that gets glossed over by many reviews. Place any special pedals you have right in with the pod go!
gonna be hard to get updates and bug fixes without a PC/Mac to update it :( they update every 2-4 months usually to add new stuff and fix stuff. being a brand new product there will surely be some bugs found in the first year.

Are there rumours about that with Line6? Neural dsp is the first company that announced "profiling" for the Quad Cortex in September.

I don't think it sounds much better if at all than my GT-1 with my own patches dialed in. I was hoping I'd hear a big upgrade but I don't think it is.

just bought mine today! helix lt was out of my price range and the stomp didnt have enough pedal switchers on it.

It's same Helix but in more comfortable package.
The POD is great. Video makes the POD sound sterile. It sounds better than that. Great playing though.
