- This spot is pretty popular, several food spots, a bunch of surf camps, surf tourists staying there, a lot of good surfers, and an epic vibe from all the locals. Most importantly, there are plenty of peaks down the beach to get away from everyone. I recommend surfing away from the pack and always respect the local surfers. Definitely seems like the locals benefit from surf tourism and surf lessons, so the place has a great surf destination vibe, and is one of the better waves in the area. Stoked to get some fun waves on my SUP. #supsurfing #standuppaddle #paddleboarding

I appreciate you for so positively representing SUP surfers that can actually surf, and not just catch all the waves. Even your crashes have a go-for-it, throw it vibe that I think all surfers can appreciate!

Haha we need to get the message across to the dorks, just because you can catch the wave doesn't mean you should go! was out at churches yesterday evening on shortboard with lesson grom and 3 suppers came out and pretty much went on everything. I mean a few of them they were alone for.... But you know haha big boards and no real care of others. I told them they needed to be under 100 liters to surf with shortboarders hahahaha no one seems to like that fake rule I made 😂🤣
@@Twonicles I like that rule! But only other SUPrs would understand it because 100 liters still sounds like a tugboat to a guy on a 30L shortboard. I had another guy say if you can't do a 180 in place with one stroke, leave.

Last time I SUP surfed Cerritos it wasn't this crowded - late Feb. 2020.

Yea Brian! I have a new snub coming in soon, some modifications to the original one. Will be trading in the original one same time. Hopefully this next one is our set model!
great video. I want to hit the Todos Santos area next summer and surf at Cerritos. What's the general setup there? A lot of peaks with both lefts and rights? The point? Thanks.
Peak city! Not sure how much that point works, but the peaks up and down the beach were awesome. Some tubes too.

Same board! I lost a couple pounds and no wetsuit!! new board is lower liters and a lot of work. Should have videos of that soon
