In 1940, the Chicago division of Paramount's theater chain, Balaban and Katz, created the station as an experimental station, W9XBK. In 1946, it received its commercial license as WBKB-TV. When Paramount divested its theaters in 1949 as a result of a landmark Supreme Court decision, WBKB-TV was included as part of the spun off company. Hate to break it to you, but EVERYTHING from 13:00 to 14:18 was NEVER used on-air. Those short stingers were from an old demo of Enforcer.
I've seen those before. The designs are a dead ringer to those used in CBS's 2004-05 image campaign.
