Always a pleasure chatting with my good friend and fellow Bass Gang member, Tomi P -- truly one of the best a cappella arrangers in the game! In this interview, Tomi and I talk about the landscape of the virtual a cappella world, growing a following, his method for arranging music, his plans for the future, and many more topics. Also FYI the video switches to gallery mode at 0:32!
I envy Tomi P's english. Been living abroad for more than 10 years and my english is not that clean. Of course I loved the entire talk and experience sharing. Also happy that I discovered the bass singing nation discord group that I joined right away.
It was a pleasure to listen to you guys! 😍 Before my old brain forgets, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BOTH OF YOU!! I believe Geoff and Eli from VP also have bdays around this time, and Tim Foust was a little while ago. All great voices, must be something about August born kids 😜 Looking forward to Tomi's country video and whatever else you're both working on! Thanks so much for doing this, Peter! 💖🔥
I love your reactions Peter, I like the analysis. To share my own personal experience to watch other reactions, on my side as I'm not evolving in a singing circle, I like to watch any kind of reactions just to share the emotions because my friends don't get how awesome A cappella singers are. So I'm alone enjoying in my small bubble and sometimes it can get lonely and kind of reactions are fun to watch at this point.
Hi Peter. I know the reaction videos are getting more views. But pls. don't stop uploading covers and classical performances. I don't want you to become just a reactor. You can do so much more. Thanks!
Have no fear! Opera is still my main focus and main career, but recordings are simply less common/frequent than the reaction videos. I also have two more cover songs done, but need to shoot videos for them, and a couple more amazing collaborations coming up! Thanks for the comment and support :)
I'm sure others think think the same as me,! watching all these videos on You Tube with you guys It makes me think I know you, it is weird to have these connections to people I have never even met.. I also have sense of pride when you release something new. Tec is an amazing thing isn't it.
Enjoyed watching this and learning about using RUclips as a business platform was very interesting. Could I please request time stamps and a bit of a menu in the description or comments when you do longer videos eg “time stamp: discussion of how Tomi started”. Thanks again and looking forward to more of your insightful reaction videos. Would love more reactions to Avi Kaplan especially his live performances and live steams where he sings lower versions with just guitar and different arrangements. Really interested in how artists have to change things between recorded and live versions.
tomi has a nice accent...nobody is going to reject him fr his accent...he needs to live life +learn to emote confidently...not jst psychopathic emotions or ghostly cries...his sexuality dsnt matter, jst his confidence.
nerdy absentminded stacatto fluidgender subtle color palette...maybe moonlight shooting, certainly he shd remove his glasses...he cd multiply himself differently in his videos(like many heads on one body).. he cd definitely look amazing as a chimaera or ancientmythology bird... lots of ways he cd b unique as well as himself
th best thing u guys hv done is make thbassgang...u jst need sm female input as to choreo/makeup/theatrics coz females makeup more of yr audience. imean u dont hv to b a male billieEilish

Thank you so much for having me 😍 It was a great talk!
Do you know the exact name of Ducklock's video, where he react's to you?
Tomi your the most wholesome bass singer
(at least in my eyes)
I’m a rabid Tomi P fan! I follow him, Shot-C, and now Bass Gang. His cover of “Hellfire” is an amazing 6 octave masterpiece.
Love Tomi’s cat! 😊

I think it’s better when songs don’t have editing the voice
tomi bring in yr culture, dont avoid it...
So when did you realize your voice was bass? What I'm a bass?
Maybe list your Patreons with only an initial letter last name?

I genuinely have no idea what your goal is with this comment, or with the other comment you made on this video.
