While listening to this gem, I'm actually in tears. I've never experienced such intense personal sorrow over the death of a celebrity before, and my heart is practically aching. I feel as though I lost something priceless. Attending one of his concerts has always been on my bucket list. I used to imagine myself swaying to his songs while watching him perform live on stage whenever I listened to his music. Only a small number of singers have the ability to reach people's souls in this way through their otherworldly singing. No matter your religion, caste, or language, all you need to do is listen to one of his songs to fall in love with his voice. My man had a straightforward, charitable character, and he sang all the way to the end. He died while engaging in what he loved to do. He was like an angel sent by God to bless us with his divine voice; God gave him heavenly vocal chords and incredible talent, and we were privileged to hear him. I guess God apparently couldn't stand to be apart from him any longer and called him back.
Hey I know I'm a year too late but your comment resonated with me so much that I needed to let you know ki I felt the exact same way when I found out that KK was gone. It was the first time ever that I felt something close to grieving for someone that I knew through his music and songs only. Never have ever I connected with a stranger like that before. I felt as if somebody really close had left me, like many others must have. Reading your comment just reminded me how lost and sad I had felt and sometimes still do. And it's baffling for me to know that a starnger could have such an impact on me and many others in the same way. Speaks volume about his music and songs. Going to one of his concerts and hearing him live was on my bucket list too but now I know that I'll never get the chance. It feels wrong somehow to mourn this fact though because for his loved ones, it's much more than that. But yeah just wanted to let you know that you're not alone, there are others like you around. Also, if you have any other artist in your bucket list then I'd say go for it. Life is really unpredictable, so there might be a million excuses for not doing something but if there's one good reason as to why you should be doing something, then I'd say just go for it. I've never experienced such intense personal sorrow over the death of a celebrity before, and my heart is practically aching. I feel as though I lost something priceless.
Attending one of his concerts has always been on my bucket list. I used to imagine myself swaying to his songs while watching him perform live on stage whenever I listened to his music.
Only a small number of singers have the ability to reach people's souls in this way through their otherworldly singing. No matter your religion, caste, or language, all you need to do is listen to one of his songs to fall in love with his voice.
My man had a straightforward, charitable character, and he sang all the way to the end. He died while engaging in what he loved to do.
He was like an angel sent by God to bless us with his divine voice; God gave him heavenly vocal chords and incredible talent, and we were privileged to hear him. I guess God apparently couldn't stand to be apart from him any longer and called him back.

Hey I know I'm a year too late but your comment resonated with me so much that I needed to let you know ki I felt the exact same way when I found out that KK was gone. It was the first time ever that I felt something close to grieving for someone that I knew through his music and songs only. Never have ever I connected with a stranger like that before. I felt as if somebody really close had left me, like many others must have. Reading your comment just reminded me how lost and sad I had felt and sometimes still do. And it's baffling for me to know that a starnger could have such an impact on me and many others in the same way. Speaks volume about his music and songs. Going to one of his concerts and hearing him live was on my bucket list too but now I know that I'll never get the chance. It feels wrong somehow to mourn this fact though because for his loved ones, it's much more than that. But yeah just wanted to let you know that you're not alone, there are others like you around. Also, if you have any other artist in your bucket list then I'd say go for it. Life is really unpredictable, so there might be a million excuses for not doing something but if there's one good reason as to why you should be doing something, then I'd say just go for it.
