Just got one today, the most impressive part in my opinion is how smooth it retracts & of course the tilt scraper, they make a great hammer as well, toughbuilt it’s gonna be my new brand when it comes to hand tools.
I’ve had mine since they came out and it is a pretty cool idea However; I’m having a problem getting the blade out, and btw guys it only works with its own blades that have an opening in the center. So if anyone knows how to get it un-jammed that’d be just dandy!!! 😉
Its not a secret prybar...please stop the click bait stuff.they tell about all of the functions in the instructions and in the videos they made for this thing.
This utility knife has a safety issue. First time I put it in a vertical slot in my tool bag (Veto pro pac), I retracted the blade and grabbed at the end where the blade comes out of. When the knife went into the slot in the bag, the button on the knife snagged on the pouch lip (because it is proud of the knife's body) and extended the blade. The blade poked my finger deep enough to draw blood. The button should lock when retracted, especially because the action is very smooth, and/or not be proud of the knife's body. I guess from now on I'll put it away grabbing the other end... If I don't get used to it I'll leave it in the workshop.
First off , the button does lock when retracted.. why would you put it in with the blade aiming out instead of the blade end going first. Thats plain common sense. You have to be smarter than the tool you are using, dude.
@@blackops84321 first off, no it doesn't, second, are you giving me advise that i gave myself in my post? fyi by touch alone the knife is very similar on both ends, and that's why i put it away flipped ONCE. if the button actually locked that wouldn't have been a problem, buddy.

It would be perfect with blade storage feature

Dewalt is my default knife, stores blades and feels comfortable and reliable

Sounds like a good idea...Wonder how good it is in actual work like paint removal, etc. New Subscriber

@goncalovazpinto6261 i have one and my button locks. Don't complain about something having a safety issue if it was your fault and not the tools.
@@blackops84321 are you for real?! maybe they changed it in the last year. don't troll me.
