This is my first firearm purchase and I can’t wait to pick it up. The dealer showed me a few options with different price points: a Glock, a Smith and Wesson and this Beretta APX A1. I opted for the Beretta because of the price point ($479). The dealer pointed out the optics ready feature and he had positive things to say about the gun - most importantly, it’s reliability. Awesome review, man!
Are you looking at my safe? Same pieces here, same Beretta fan like any Italian out there, instead of the M9 have the 92A1 along the the ARX100, can't go wrong with anything from Beretta (except for the Pico), be safe brother.
Found this on sale and hey, everyone needs a Beretta. As an rabid CZ fan, I really like my APX A1. Somehow has a better recoil impulse than my P07 and I'm as proficient with it as my 10 year old CZ-75. My big gripe being limited holster options and magazines are pricey but are top quality. Well done Beretta!
This pistol went through a 10,000rd factory test … And like most European pistols is built for a full steady diet of 9mm NATO .. I actually like the Idea of the 17rd 4.25 inch barreled pistol Its a runner because of its size and weight…
It's absolutely a fantastic pistol. .y husband and I have two of those pistols. Probably going to purchase the compact version as well. HK, Walther, Arex Zero 1 & 2, and Beretta are absolutely well manufactured and engineered. We prefer the German manufactured pistols, however Beretta is an Italian company with 500 year's of design and manufacturing. Thank you for sharing 🙏🎄
According to Beretta they are going to rerelease this in 40 and 380 which is what I'm waiting on. Like the 40 and 380 very much..Thanks for the vdeo and time 👍
I love the 40 and 380 calibers but I just wish they made something that was right in between and cost a lot less with more variety... 🤣🤣🤣 jk! Just picking on you because you like 40, but all in good fun!
Like the looks and the reviews online are really strong, but I have only been able to hold one in a shop, can't find a range in my state (CT) to rent. Worth the risk of buying without shooting?
I picked mine up yesterday and went straight to the range. It is a great shooter with an outstanding trigger. It may be the best out of the box striker fired trigger I've ever experienced. I also feel it is the perfect size gun for either CC or duty. I love it, and highly recommend the pistol. However, there are a few things to keep in mind before you buy. 1) Disassembly is a pain, literally. The takedown lever must be pushed out via a button on the right side of the frame, and that button is VERY tight. You have to push with your thumb using a lot of force, and even then, a punch may be required. 2) Changing backstraps is overly complicated, not intuitive, and requires the painful and difficult removal of the slide. 3). The biggest knock, removing the Fire Control Mechanism is very tedious, and again, not at all intuitive. It is a "three-handed" job for sure and nowhere near as simple as the P320. Having said that, the fact that you're getting a very high-quality gun with an excellent trigger, that is optics-ready for the under $500 makes the APX A1 worth it and a definite keeper.
Did you find that during your shooting that it shot very low,i purchased one yesterday and shot it today and it shot low, thanks other than that awesome gun
Target shooting solutions, where I filmed this, make custom holsters. Website isn’t live yet but you can go to their IG to call and order. IG is CustomHolsterSolutions
Yes. I called Beretta CS before I bought it to confirm holster compatibility too. They said the frames are unchanged from the original, and the slides are dimensionally identical, so previous APX holsters with work. We'll se on that one. I have the Safariland 6360 light bearing L3 on order from Beretta. Fingers crossed
@@gjroldan21 No dice. CS at Beretta was wrong. I had to return it. Holsters for original APX series will not fit APX A1. Beretta now has a duty style holster for the A1 on their website, but it's non-light bearing and not optics ready. So what's the point?
"Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", love mine, either they hate it or love it, still the polymer gun I shoot the best with, the A1 is one step above.

Just picked this up a few days ago. Love the ergos. I have the PX4 storm and the M9. Beretta fan boy for sure! Great review!

Thr Beretta APX Gen 2 is an outstanding, phenomenal handgun. It was kind of overlooked before, it shouldn't this time.
Agreed

I love Yours reviews. Walther pdp and apx a1 are great guns, but which is better?
I liked the original as well it got what to much hate for some reason. I do like the upgrades as we’ll definitely gonna pick one up.
The original APX was so especial but this new one is better. I finally choose the A1

Waiting on mine to arrive. Got it for $399 online. Steve, you want the Centurion A1. Wait until that one is released. I want that one too.
Where did you buy it?
Get the Compact version
I like the pinky lip too. They did do a great job! I'm a 1911 guy mainly. I love the size but have massive hands 😊
Much thanks. Drooling over this one.
They also have the A1 carry
I already liked the original one. This new one really looks like perfection, sorry glock.
Glock is only perfection to fan boys who drank Glock marketing Kool-Aid. Tons of great weapons on par and better than the Glock Platform.
@@williamryan9195 I can't imagine anyone picking any Glock over the APX.
I carry the Gen 1 Beretta Apx compact now and love it, as soon as my FFL gets the A1 full size in stock I buying it
This shop here TArget shooting solutions has them for great price on their website. Boom!

Yep. Same here. Plan on getting the 40 and buying the 9mm conversion barrel and just switch out the barrels as necessary

Waiting on the Centurion A1!!!
That would be a nice model for A1!
Me too!👍🏻I have the original full size
Hell yeah!
Should I buy the APX A1 or the CZ P10C/F as my first pistol?
Opinions seem to vary a lot on the trigger.
The plates for optics don’t come with the Pistol? $50.00 a pop from factory per Justin Opinion????
Did you find that during your shooting that it shot very low,i purchased one yesterday and shot it today and it shot low, thanks other than that awesome gun
Beretta the best 🔝🏆🥇
What you want is the Centurion A1.
I might have to buy that when it comes out, assuming the round count is there
Great review ! Really love it ! Think gonna b my nxt gun !
What holster u have for it
beautiful weapon apart from the weight of the trigger
Anyone know where I could get a iwb or owb holster for the A1 full size? Can't find one anywhere.
