Ezra!!! Hell yes!!! Love seeing Yogi back on a bike. Goose used to say that Ezra was a very, very good tester, and can pick up on minute changes that us mortals wouldn't feel or notice. Good call, Ping. We need more testing with Ezra
Back in 1999 my parents took me to the last supercross at the King Dome in Seattle. It was my first time in the pits and being a 10yr old I saw my favorite rider (Ezra Lusk) walking out of the Honda pits, headed to practice, I ran up and asked him for an autograph (I know nowadays that it wasn’t the appropriate time).. He told me to come back after practice and he’d get me, he started walking to the stadium before he turned around and hurried over and handed me his helmet while he signed my jersey! He definitely didn’t owe me anything and didn’t have to do that but; it goes to show what a great dude he truly is! That alone made my whole weekend!
I watched pretty much every video from the triumph world launch at gator back. And I think this one by far was one of if not the best video, Ezra and David were much more Detailed and explained their reasoning Behind their Likes and dislikes of different details of the bike with suspension engine Chassi slight changes that really changed the feel and ride of the bike. I just feel like they were being honest with their opinions about the whole bike in general. 👍🇺🇸
So cool to see Ezra Lusk again. As a kid watching him battle McGrath. Those were my 2 favorites back in the day. Usually McGrath had the race locked down so Lusk was the one battling and i guess i just loved the way he rode and the grit he showed. Hope to see him more often going forward.
Thank you Ping, and Ezra. I am sold on that bike when the 350’s come out. The thing is beautiful, and I really appreciate, and respect both of your opinions on it. Ezra, you really made it look good. Thanks again.
I really liked this review. The guy, Ezra, was very straightforward with his thoughts on the bike and I appreciate that. More reviews from this guy, please, because I'd like to hear what he has to say about other bikes. Best, though, was just watchin him ride! I'll listen to this dude. Judging by the comments, I think most would agree
Yogi is an nice charachter, analysts if you will. You can tell he just dont spitt rubbish to agree with others opinions on a certain aspect of the bike. If anything a factory should have him onboard.
Great review! Most of the comments are similar with the other media groups. This one is more technically broken down. Bike sounds like a big bore. Off topic, at first I didn’t realize that was Ping.
Probably would have been good to have a test rider (Like Ping) to ride it. Lusk is awesome but hasn’t ridden all the 250F’s every year to have a baseline. Not one other tester said it’s not fast, all said the opposite. It rips
"welded by hand" = no resources for robot. New quality = full torx bolt setup. and etc. So far, MXA has been the only one to tell things like they are. In the case of Ping, it must be admitted that it is a disappointment. Nothing against Triumph. I think this Great United Kingdom co operation with Austria is good product.
What in the world are you talking about? Hand welding is a much costlier process, but it ensures quality. And I stand behind every single thing Yogi and said about the bike.
@@DavidPingree_WTMG101 robots quality in year 2024 always better. Robots, like you know, not make mistakes. Hand welding can be more beautiful and there are cases where using this method of welding is unavoidable. But calling it "better" is as silly as saying ODI grips is better than Renthal soft.
I'm getting a new bike I own a 20 model kx 450 but it's just to much bike for me. Are these bikes as strong as some people are saying I've seen swoll almost pull every hole shot vs the PC and star guys. If you were gonna buy a 250 and was a 38 year old c class rider that's a conditioned 190-200# is this the right bike?
@@davidpingree9254 thanks for the heads up ping imma huge fan of your channel and prior works. If you were in my shoes 38, c class moto/hair scramble guy, that's a active 5"11 190-200#'s what bike would you look at? If this question is to specific I understand. I love the throttle response of my kawi but that initial power even with the mild tune has caught me off guard doing moto. It's a shame you can't test a bike before spending 10-12k. Also how awesome would if be if the Japanese offered a 350??? Imma fan of bikes with smooth linear power. In eastern Ky we are very limited when it comes to tracks, most tracks you find yourself in 1st and 2nd. Our best local track is a tight sx/moto hybrid.
If it was a Chinese company that rode a bunch of other manufacturers' products then developed their own motorcycle to directly compete with those manufacturers, Ping would throw a fit. I love Ping's interview shows, but he understands very little about the product development world and fails to recognize how many technologies and designs our own country has lifted.

He is top notch for sure. I always enjoyed him in the late 90’s. Looks like he’s still very fast and stylish.

Love seeing Yogi ride!!! Bike seems really good. BEST review I've watched today from all of the media outlets. Bravo!

Nice to see Yogi out on the track!
Ping pulls out all the stops and pulls Yogi bear into the mix! Dude this is the best review of all the media outlets…
It's awesome to witness Lusk ripping again... oh yeah, the bike is impressive, especially for it's premier. Thanks for the video.
Ezra Lusk one of my all time favorite racers!
Super kool! He likes the Triumph!
Excellent video 👍👍👍
Dude! Love Yogi! He was MY GUY back in his HRC days w/ RC. From Ga! Lets see more of Ezra riding
Great vid. Ezra and pingree. Awesome 👌.
It sounds awesome 👌
The bike, Yogi and the track looked good.
You guy's had fun ripping that trumpet looks like
Ezra awesome to see him ride still smooth as ever
Great review. The Wheelie Boys are going to love these! Coming to the streets of Miami and Atlanta soon!!
🤣🤣
Thank you, Triumph
Welcome to the Party !
Was a huge fan of Lusk11 back in the day. Great to see him in the video. Bike looks really nice!
And yogi is still yogi. Just a humble badass with awesome style.
Appreciate it Fellas 👊💪 So many great memories of Ezra 🔥🔥 TY EL4 ✌️😉
Gotta love Yogi, he hauled butt on a 97 CR250..not many can say that
Bought one CUZ of him 🔥🔥😅 Loved it actually ✌️

Exciting times in the mx world
Legend
Ping... KTM's have had steel braided lines for nearly 3 decades... and Honda style routing. This is part why their brakes have always been good.
P.S. Your beard game is on point 👌
Hope the bring out a Triumph 350cc
Lusk is the man. We need him in the industry.
After listening to Ricky and Ezra I'm confident in purchasing one forsure!!!! (Braaaaaap)
So cool. really miss ya Ezra.
i really dig that black and yellow
YOGI!!! I'm a southern guy so Ezra is one of my favorite riders ever!
So awsome!
Yogi, wow ! Didn't even know he was still riding.....and he looked stylish and fast ! 😮😊
Seems like a really good product/machine . I would spend my money on it
Yogi. Love to see this content
Great review! Most of the comments are similar with the other media groups. This one is more technically broken down. Bike sounds like a big bore. Off topic, at first I didn’t realize that was Ping.
Yooooogi! Still the same 1993 Yogi in my brain.
Oh yeah, and the Triumph is sick. I’d totally buy one if I was in the market for a MX 250F. Build me a 450 Enduro and I’m in.
It’s in their plans
Probably would have been good to have a test rider (Like Ping) to ride it. Lusk is awesome but hasn’t ridden all the 250F’s every year to have a baseline. Not one other tester said it’s not fast, all said the opposite. It rips
I did. And I agree with everything Yogi said. It isn’t slow, it just builds too slowly for faster riders.
YOGI 🐻.. fucken ripper 💯
If you close your eyes Ezra sounds like Dr. Phil 🤣🤣🤣
Ezra was awesome
Great to see Ezra however I just hate black plastic.
Fuck yeah so cool to see ezra ! And fook me he still rides amazing! Such a cool smart sounding guy. Not a moto bro 😂
Better craftsmanship than the TM?
Is the quick shift like the moto gp bikes?
YOGI!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wonder if the plastics would fit the first generation aluminum YZFs??😅
If that was Ezra being posative, I'd hate to hear what negative sounds like.
Are parts gonna be easy to get ?
There is only one gravity cavity and it's at una fukin dilla!
He was talking about the Gator Pit… us old guys mess it up once in a while 🤣
what is the Roost Hat?
Hmmm so whose faster Lusk or Browne

Look at the yz250fx… sounds right up your alley
Made in Thailand
Impressive and NOT China lol
Sorry like the vid but cant deal with the attempt at music someone picked! Love Ping and WTM but cant watch alot of them because of that noise.

Huh? How do you think any product is made? You think they don’t evaluate their competitors products? If it doesn’t violate patent law, it’s fair game.
meh, get a YZ and avoid all this hulabaloo
Is Ping still a Firefighter? Didnt think they could have full facial hair due to the fitment of the SCBAs.
Off with a hand injury at the moment… which is why I haven’t been test riding lately.
@@davidpingree9254 Thanks,I'd been curious about it.Heal up quick.
