I will be in a balcony cabin and your cabin tour was great, especially seeing that they have a magnifying mirror on the desk!!! Life saver!! My favorite Norwegian restaurant? Oh boy, that is a hard question. I love Cagney"s and O'Sheehan's. The breakfast there is delicious!!
Great coverage of the restaurants included in your cruise fare. Lots of great options on these NCL Gem class ships. When the weather is right, we enjoy breakfast at the outdoor cafe to start the day with some sunshine to complement our morning coffee 😊
Awesome presentation as usual! I am worried because we soon will be sailing on a 7 day, 5 port cruise on the Viva! After this video I am truly looking forward to all the options on the Viva, just not sure how we will fit them all in! So many choices! I am not complaining! By the way, you look wonderful with and without makeup! I must admit, I had to stop this video and put on my sports coat and tie since you are dressed for the formal dining night! Going on the Pearl in August, and looking forward to it. Sailed on the Pearl's sister ship, the NCL Star, a couple of years ago, and I loved their version of the Lotus Garden (it was called Ginza, if I recall properly), and LOVED having that as a free option. We usually eat at a few of the specialty restaurants with every sailing, but having an option to go get some Chinese, just for a change of pace and no upcharge, was a great option. I'm really looking forward to the outside buffet on this next sailing. That looks like a great place to relax and eat.
I was on the Bliss in October. My favorite food was the Indian food at Garden Cafe. I also enjoyed the main dining experiences and The Local (on Bliss) - the fish and chips and pretzel bites!! ❤
We are NCL loyal. Our 2 favorite specialty dining places are Moderno and Cagneys. (Meat, meat and more meat lol) but, Le Bistro, Los Lobos, abd Q Smokehouse, are right up there, and of course Teppanyaki is always yummy and fun!! We were not inpressed by Ocean Blue (it was okay but maybe we are just spoiled because we live in Maine and have access to fresh, amazing seafood year round?) It was not bad at all, but just wasnt as good as we were hoping. The Sushi can be hit or miss, but we like the noodles. The only location we AVOID is La Cucina. We tried 3 times and gave up. Mushy pasta, tasteless sauces, just ewww. My hubby managed a pizza lol and I did eat my dessert but all 3 times, but we disliked it very much. Never made it to the Burger place as it was never open when we wanted it. A little tip... If you try Moderno, skip the salad bar! And go easy on the sides. The meats are amazing and the grilled pineapple is to die for. (Ive tried to duplicate it on my smoker/ grill but it is just not as good!) Or if you must have a salad, make it a small side, not a big plate. Trust me on this! 😂
Where is a good place to have an ace an view cabin? I typically like being low so it doesn’t bother me if I’m on 3-4 deck . I would dislike being near a pool or movie where noise would be an issue . Thanks for any ideas 😊

That’s great! Sometimes the itinerary is just so good on the mid sized ships, and I found this ship to be so well designed

I was on the escape, and I've already rebooked on the breakaway because we were always able to find so much to eat and just loved the whole staff

I haven't been on Norwegian Gem, but I believe the ships are similar. You'll have the diningrooms, O'Sheehan's, buffet & more restaurants I'm sure

My brother said he found free virgin pina coladas on a hidden top deck bar on the Jewel .... I was wondering if the Pearl had something like this???
