The kind of freestyle rhyming during interviews reminds me of Lee Perry. Would be interesting to hear a tune they'd be voicing together (freestyle!) on a crystal clear riddim and mix - so every word would be understood.

Wow Super Cat look totally different. I use hang on the block with Super Cat back in the late 80's early 90's. He's a good dude, but looks like he's been having a rough life.

What's good...I never knew Super Cat personally, but he use to come on the block back in the days with a homie I knew named Junior Dred. The block was Nassau Road aka Nasty Road in Roosevelt New York. A few Jamaican artist use to be on that block...I met Yellow Man, Barrington Levy, Beenie Man, Cocoa Tea to name a few. I was in a cipher with Super Cat...those were the good ole days.

I think he just came up with that off the top of the head. It was beautiful and sounded kind of sad. I read he actually started out as a singer when he was child, but ended up deejaying. If you listen to some old old dances, he kinda sings a little bit here and there, just riffing, and he had a nice voice.
