Awesome show, and love your broadcast! Your personality is wonderful. Thanks for all the great commentary. I had to sell my Jooltool six years ago. It was the original and never used. Now I just collect and buy beads to make jewelry. So excited to follow you and the folks you introduced today. Great job, my new lapidary friend!
thanks for sharing, i cant remember if it was this video or another (i had a lapidary dave binge yesterday) but armando was talking about the larimar and the dificulties cutting it. Glad i saw that part as i got a slab from my trip to republica dominicana that i've been planning on cutting with the trim saw but now i think i might hold off. That stuff is precious to me as i haven't found a source online for good rough and who knows when i'm going to be able to afford to go back. Thanks for the education and helping me along my lapidary journey. Pura Vida! Jake
Your awesome Dave ! At the end of the day it has to be very rewarding knowing that you have helped so many vendors out..keep up the videos coming because I wil definitely keep on watching and enjoying them....thanks for sharing.....WHAT ! WHOO HOOO FROM CALIFORNIA !!!!!!
I think you so much candice I really appreciate your kindness. I’m getting there. I still get yelled at least a couple times my vendors had every show this one was definitely one of them. I think I even kept it in the video.
I am so glad I found this channel! So many beautiful stones and minerals. I wish I could go to one of those shows maybe I will be able to do some here. But I’m sure I get broke just going there let alone in the venue. That turquoise is just jaw-dropping and that piece of fire I get from that vendor was amazing. I love fire agate my favorite stone. I’ve been a germ collector since I was a kid now I’m almost 50 my collections really small down because I gave a lot of pieces away through the years, but I’m thinking about building it up at again, so going to one of these gym shows would be amazing. Gotta find some in Pennsylvania.
As a relative of Richard Lee, founding father of Virginia I have to say that probably black Raspberry's are why it was settled... love me some black raspberry jam!😁

Hi dave i am a big fan, just wondeirng if you have a chance to come to california in august 5-7 , 10-4 everyday then there is a rock show called the rainbow of gems show in Nipomo, a small town near santa barbra. Just letting you know, it istn the biggest show, but it is very nice. just look it up
i’m sorry I don’t quite understand your question are you asking me what should a whole size be for a agate necklace or are you talking about a whole size in this video in particular?
I took it down shortly after it happened I thought even though it would’ve been a great video for me probably with hundreds of thousands of views if not at least 1 million it’s just a bad way to get that type of attention I found out later that the dude was kind of just that way with everyone and it was more or less me not being willing to turn off my camera this year in Tucson 2023. I found out that the guy sprayed some young ladies white shirt down with a spray bottle and in one form or another is a little bit unhinged. I don’t take what he did at all I’m not mad I’m not upset. In fact I feel super bad for the guy, he went a super large booth literally one of the smallest booth at the 22nd St., showplace I think it was just one glass table anyway I might do a screening of the video some other time during a live video if anyone asks during a live but I don’t share the video casually since I think it’s just a little inappropriate definitely on his part but if I went around joking about it then on my part two

It would be nice to hear what the vendors say. Other than that, your videos are excellent. Ty

Metal tape and solder is used with stained glass.
That's good to know. I had heard about that also but, did not remember at all what the technique was used for.

If the cost is $2/ct, x5 would give u the cost of 1g? So a 1g stone would be $10?
Yep
@@lapidarydave Thanks so much Lapidary Dave.

Nice
It blows my mind that any vendor would yell at you for giving them free publicity.
Cool but over priced
