this i relate to on a really big level, sleeping alone like this more oftenly than not makes me hear things, i cant sleep thanks to my brains loop of making scenarios in my head until any sort of noise makes me jump, its as if i have something within sabotaging me every damn time
Yeah I’m used to always living in a home filled with people but now I live in a small house in the woods and whenever my family needs to leave for a few weeks it gets really hard to sleep at night
This is my favorite animation you’ve made recently. I noticed you’ve made A LOT of these within these two weeks. They’re really cool, I relate to this one a lot. Insomnia sucks.
I feel this is like what feels like to have so many thoughts, anxieties and worries inside your head that it feels like they will break out your head for how many and how strong they are. This time, it's true to the name! She can't sleep because her thoughts are keeping her awake and this feels so overwhelming that it feels like it's gonna break your mind. I think this one is one of the best and most relatable animations I've seen from this channel! The message that is showing here ( or what I think it's the message) is a representation of what happens to anyone, that is being unable to sleep because your mind won't just rest and is constantly having thoughts. I got to say, you're definitely improving in your animations and you're doing a great job on conveying the "show not tell" element! But, just be careful to not burn out, nosleep666!
Over time, you can even accept your anxiety disorder and depression (I know it sounds weird, but if you live with it for at least two years, you start to accept it as a part of you). This anxiety is usually mixed with shame, despair, a feeling of pity and fear (fear may not have an objective reason at all) and this "cocktail" has physical manifestations... Imagine that your chest (namely, heart and lungs) is squeezing by hydraulic press on each side, there is a feeling of even slight pain, but usually it manifests itself in difficulty breathing and simply UNREAL discomfort and as if the throat was tied with a rope. When you try to fall asleep, it is impossible to calm down these feelings, and from time to time, when you no longer have the strength to keep your eyes closed, you open them wide in horror and feel that you are starting to suffocate (to be honest, very often there is even a desire to open your ribs in order to to be able to breathe). Such things often occur in the evening and at night or during a stressful situation (which can literally be anything when you have anxiety, and it is impossible to get used to it). But after 24-48 hours without sleep, very strange things happen in the head, either silence or like white noise - it is impossible to think and make decisions (you can try to think about something, but it's like your brain is turned off from the network, "the signal goes nowhere"). But I remember what happened to me recently, when in the morning after another such night I went to the kitchen and my cat came to me, I looked at him and I started laughing hysterically, I fell to the ground and laughed like crazy and could not stop in any way until I started to suffocate... After "this thing" ended I could hardly stand and the feeling of exhaustion and despair was like "hit like a train", I really felt at x10 speed how depression turns into mania and vice versa (honestly I can't explain). After that, you walk around all day like an empty shell, like without consciousness and awarenes at all, you are just like a single-celled organism without nervous activity, an automaton, an NPC... like that. In short, it's better to take care of your mental health
A few years ago, I came back from a camping trip, dumped my clothes in the laundry basket, showered, brushed my teeth, and went to sleep. I woke up around midnight to an unusual sound, this very light and gentle rhythmic tapping, and felt a slight tickling in one of my ears. I felt what seemed like a small object inside, pulled it out, and looked at it. It was a tick, trying to crawl into my ear canal. Naturally, I put it down on my bedside table, crushed it, cut its body in half, and burnt the remains to a crisp with my lighter. Spent the rest of the night laundering my clothing and sheets and couldn't get a wink of sleep until well past daybreak.
This reminds me of my uncle telling me how he, when sleeping on his construction work, woke up because had a cockroach inside his ear, describing it walking as loud tapping. But honestly your story is MUCH nastier, imagine the tick attaching to your ear canal, or worse your eardrum and the horrible process of getting it out 💀💀
I had an ant bite my ear drum it was painfull as fuck 😬😬😭, just remembering what happened makes my ears quiver. The ant was a very small red ant, and I struggle to get him out, the harder I try the harde he bit. I had to crush him in my ears and then flushed him out with water. The pain stayed with me for the whole day
Really kind of something out of time both artistically and content wise. I see so much old shit I've seen browsing the web through this series and I mean it in the most earnest and respectful way. I've honestly grown a strong attachment to it for it. Nothing like this could exist again in most other cases now and days.
It’s 2am and I’m currently trying to go to sleep. It’s deathly silent and my brain is creating sounds because I guess it’s compensating for the lack of noise and it’s weirdly fitting that I’ve been recommended this video. I’m certain I can hear a buzzing sound but the closer I listen I realize it’s all in my head
Ah I see you have those nightmares as well. It starts with an immense pressure in your ear that gets more and more painful until it bursts out in a goopy sludge. Accompanied by a mixture of relief and pain once the ear finally bursts.
Advice to those who have trouble sleeping because of silence, little noises, anxiety: White/Brown/Pink noise, a fan, some kind of constant low noise. Your hearing is heightened because of the silence, alerting to more subtle noises(evolutionary defense against predators) so having a constant noise like a fan can drown out that sensitivity, it doesn’t work for everyone, but it sure works for a lot of people. Please give it a try!
These animations are able to convey so much in so little time in a fully show don’t tell style. This one hits me so close, and I love it for that. A lot of people have been mentioning it, but don’t burnout my dood
Analysis of these videos I made because I have developed an unhealthy obsession with the story. I'm not sure if it's insomnia but I've never liked to sleep, I could sit in bed for hours upon hours and be wide awake I've been up for days before, I can only imagine how bad it must be for someone who actually suffers from this
Little analysis time : Our MC, Bandit (not her official name, but someone gave her that name and I like it), is shown lying in a small bed that she seems to share with someone. Some of the videos make me think that she has found someone she seems close to and more comfortable with than usual. I think it is her lover ("He's Here", "Sin of Flesh", "Walk With Me" and/or "Peephole"). Of course, it's very hard to tell because whoever it is, we never saw her face or any part of her body and here we only see hair. She tries to sleep but can't. She waits for sleep to come. Her eyes eventually close and she begins to sleep. But she is immediately awakened by a strange noise. She looks at the person next to her thinking that she is the cause of the noise. She could ask them but she doesn't bother them. She decides to just ignore it, thinking it was probably nothing and goes back to sleep. That's when she hears it again. She starts to panic, only moving her eyes and remaining silent. Nothing happens. Suddenly, she is attacked ... from the inside. A spurt of blood comes out of her left ear before a kind of red hook comes out too. The video is called "Inside", explecit, but it should be noted that this video is located in the playlist/section of the nightmares. These videos show us the nightmares of Bandit, sometimes accompanied by scenes showing that what happens in parallel out of his nightmares (or possibly hallucinations related to these nightmares) And it is precisely in this section that we find the videos mentioned earlier. Maybe those "Nightmares" makes Bandit's relationship difficult because those horrors just burst out of nowhere while she just want to be happy with her lover. The nightmare either just started already or she had this nightmare from one of the times she is trying to sleep. Either way, my questions are: - Who is the person standing next to Bandit? Is it really her lover or someone else she is close with ? - Why is the thing coming out of her ear? - What does the red hook represent? Is it the red/dark coat entity ?
Actually, I heard somewhere that this may be based off of a Spanish book where a lady gets her brain eaten by some bug thing that's in her pillow. Also, it seems like the figure she's lying with is a plush toy, evident by the stitches in it (possibly the plush from Little Sister but I'm not sure)
Okay, your theory is interesting BUT many people including me believe that videos like He's Here, Sins of the Flesh, Walk With Me, etc depict trauma of SA, especially Sins of the Flesh. Most of the videos here are like a grotesque representation of trauma and horribly damaged mental health and its all caused by the hooded person
@@-__Flower__- Yeah, I thought that while she has her intimate moments with her lover, her Nightmares/Trauma from her past SA would come back, giving her visions of horror. Or maybe those are just nightmares and this lover unfortunately doesn't exist. But the hooded person is kind of mysterious since they doesn't appear in the "Insanity" playlist/section, which show the traumatic past of Bandit.
and we see here why the channel is called "i cant sleep". this is a curse that i fall victim too as well, it's to the point i have music playing constantly just so i dont hear random noises that likely aren't even there.
I recall having extreme migraines as a child... Up until the age of 20. Apparently, I had a certain amount of gluten sensitivity... It causes me chronical depression and headaches. I recall having extreme migraines as a child... Up until the age of 20.
Apparently, I had a certain amount of gluten sensitivity... It causes me chronical depression and headaches.
I loved bread, and I had no idea it was ruining my life... Took me hours to fall asleep each night.
Those issues receded over time as I ceased any gluten based food...
