He’s trying to go eat, man! Even I, as a non-celebrity, would be pissed if someone -especially someone with a camera- hassled me on the sidewalk when I clearly had a place to go and quite possibly a time I was supposed to be there. Even if it were for lunch, some lunches are damn well important.

I think Dave has a good head on him, and I’m not even a big Jane’s Addiction/RHCP/Ink Master fan.
At no point did himself or his body language scream his *lunch* was more important than freedom of speech. In fact, he used his freedom of speech to declare he minded that you were bugging him at that moment before you even asked about freedom of speech, and you still failed to respect him.
You failed to respect someone and still expected them to cater to your questions that had an obvious answer, given his career as a musician, as it is.
His lunch, my lunch, and EVERYONES lunch is substantially more important than TMZ.
