- This is my test clip for the Mini F9 Action Cam which is used for logging my cycling journey.
Please bear with me as I am still improvising on the mount so in the meantime, the inherent shaking in the video cannot be totally avoided..

How can you record one video for more than 3 minutes?
IF YOU LOSE THE SETTINGS.TXT file to give you full control over this camera here is the code to create your own, now u can adjust contrast, white balance and even remove the time stamp!!!!

I only have one txt file and it's for time, no other file other then the folder for video and photo. So created one, and even deleted the time.txt file, but the moment I start recording the deleted time.txt file reappear again, and nothing happen to the setting, its still desame. I even changed the folder option to show hidden files and show system protected file. And there is still nothing.

The file data shows that 1080p is indeed 30fps while my 720p is at 60fps. I was initially worried that the images was interpolace or software engineered frames but the picture is indeed true to claim. The actual file is a lot clearer than the images here but size is considerable.
To Mario, not yet but soon with that in mind and a major sportif race coming. Stay tuned ok.
So far recorded nearly 3 hours without fail.
I just bought this camera,and already upgrade firmware,that i can shot longer movie than 3min. But i have one problem,there is no sound in the video! The only sound in just first second of the video,something like brrrrr... Did someone have same problem??
Hi sorry for asking but im having many problems w this cam the first 2days trying to get the settings right now i think i got it right after doing the update that i found online so now i record a few videos i take the sd out camera put it in my comp mac i see this videos have different sizes but when i try to play the i only can see 1 or 20 minutes i dont know why i used vlc and other olso try to convert dvi t some other format. Can u please tell me how u did really nice videos i jus wanna use this cam in my motorcycle thanks hope hear from u
You don't have as much wind wash as other vids., did you put a piece of scotch tape over the mic. hole? If you stop recording, then start again does it pick up where you left off? Same thing when you power down, pick up where powered down or start from beginning? Thanks
I've got a question for ya, is the time stamp on bottom right corner permanent or is that removable?
After you used up all of the SD card's memory, does this camera just stop recording? Or will it automatically rewrite from the beginning? Thanks!
how did you get it to record for so long /longer than 3mins that's all I can get out of this one
they can take a mini sd memory card. you could record for about and hour with one.

Like, have you tried slow motions and really checked the frames?

Hello, why my camera recors 3 min shots ? she continue but i have many 3 min files, i must then link together. thank you.
I was looking for the same camera, do you think 1080p is real or just upscaled 720? and 60fps also are real or just 30fps with duplicated frames?
do you know how I can reset the camera if it froze? Now i can't turn it off and can't connect to PC either. Thanks!
How did you get one continuous shot, or did you link the 3 min. files together?

i want to remove the stupid time stamp but i only get 1 file named Data BAT ( something like that ) and i cant seem to edit it !!!
I believe it can be switched off in the RTCdisplay in the setup file.

its best to mount on your helmet, less vibration and it points to where you face. and i would recomend you try Mobius camera. betta video quality
I kinda given up on the color quality of this camera. Its serves as a just in case cycling logger these days. Thanks for your advice though, appreciated.

place the settings file in the root directory of ur SD card
is it possible to deactivate the time display? anyone knows how?
To deactivate the time display go into the settings .txt file and where it says "RTCDISPLAY:1" change the 1 to a 0.
It does not seem to loop or cycle record.

Just completed the test. RTCDisplay 0 means there will be no time stamp.
nvm theres a small tiny hole next to the SD card that I have to use a pin to push to reset. Good to know for people.
