Wow the trolls are in full effect on this post. It’s no bad blood, no bad payments, no nothing, just 2 men doing business and 1 man chooses to go another route. Tow Piglet helped the man grow his channel, brought him back to the hotshot, Hauling Cash helped him raise his score, got some new footing and started his own company. This is how all stories should go, people helping people.
I have never thought you two had any problem with each other. Both speak highly of each other and you both have taught us so much about hotshotting!! Even old guys like me that have owned a bunch of rigs at once! This is my retirement plan and more of a hobby so I can see the entire country. I was always in the Northeast (yuk). Reactivating my Authority that I got in 1999. Insurance still a $1000 a month but like starting over from what my insurance agent says. Right now letting my Old Authority numbers age 3 or 4 months plus I’m waiting for my Big Tex which won’t be in until December. Anyways I appreciate the both of you,! When I started in the 1990’s there was no help anywhere. Just trial by fire!! 👍✌️
Alex, I am interested in investing to your company by providing a hotshot and trailer but my only fear is finding good drivers. I'm an Owner Operator hauling reefer but I can't afford stepping down. My idea is providing the equipment and have it leased under your authority. I still need to find a worthy driver in these tough times tho.
I've always wanted to be a hotshot but my 1999 Cummings wouldn't handle the pain. I'm following you and dreaming I could donwhat you do someday. I don't have have money or the hardware to but someday maybe I will win the lottery. Coming from a farmer that is losing it all with hopes to be somebody. I love your enthusiasm. God bless
I especially like that you provided a win , win situation for the both of y’all. The big kicker was giving him back a better RUclips channel . Still working on earning the money to buy my equipment. Biggest expense are the collateral and the trailer . Get er done TP !
First thing you highlighted about the hard task was actually a compliment, he said it wasn't a hard task working with you.4:00 ish. Kind of a weird mess up, I normally don't comment on stuff like that but it was too weird not to say anything
Think about it, they’re owner operators.. all you need is enough money to get your MC, Insurance etc. and before you know it. They’ve started their own business. You gave them somewhere to start or a better situation. Look at it as your business being successful enough to help others.
Most hotshot companies will fail because of the inexperience. I know 2 people that tried and failed because they did not have the cash to fix issues on the road. Also they bought used everything and hoped it would last...It's nice to see you help others get their companies started due to the hardships of starting out.
Your too nice. I like your videos because they are not fake. I have spent many an hour in complete frustration fixing something on the side of a road or in a parking lot to keep the revenue flowing.
This is good to go. If you are content and never moving forward, you'll never get further in life. Every job is to train you for the next job on the line.
He’s just limited on the trailer manufacturing quality... he’s actually talking advantage of a little nitch in the market and he’s required less paperwork and drama. There’s definitely a market if someone wants to go the bigger rig setup too. There’s a lot of opportunities for everyone. I’m seriously considering using the tow piglet setup for a more local running area because I’m actually sitting in a pretty good area. Heck, there’s even a market for a decent quality trailer manufacturer...who can build with the shorter tongue like 12kn’s ... but actually make them square and hit all the welds... LMFFAO! The quality of these new trailers are scary low... ... you’re definitely going to be registered lower so the addition of a couple of good heavy quality axels make’s sense to me.... I really like his thinking on running the 19.5 size tires so you can grab one at a truck stop is smart business. Too bad I’ve only got a f-250 single axle..,because the diesel 6 speed I think would be great... I’m sitting at 164k miles so I can’t go tear out with it and blast the miles... seriously want to get more information on his lease deal... that definitely makes sense to me...it’s pretty cheap daily expense and you’re killing someone else’s vehicle..,. This looks like a good time... driving around delivering stuff! 👍😁
Look at putting in Timken bearings. I've gotten to a point where we change all bearings and races on even brand new trailers. They all come with Chinese junk. We have our own shop and have literally saved thousands, for us and customers, in breakdown costs. Regular maintenance and due diligence has led to zero failures with Timken in over 20 years. Alex i sent you a message on Instagram. I am moving back to Texas. Got 30000 saved. Got class a cdl. Would love to work with/for you. Your enthusiasm is infectious.
For future purposes, I’m 23 currently in masters driving school in Paterson NJ getting my class A all endorsements, after I have my Cdl can I work w you bro? I live in Newark NJ
Yea apportioned plates will take a while to come in. He might as well go with combination plates because you can get them the same day in Texas. He will still need to get permits to cross state lines. Thanks great video, RC Hotshot LLC, Buck
Why would someone want to drive all over the country sleeping in a pickup truck ? Now your talking “ company “ drivers. They are going to be in hotels right ??
Its a sacrifice but waking up knowing your going to make what someone sleeps on their bed at night makes in a week the next day is plenty reason why. Financially and the past year I went to the NBA 🏀 all star festivities. NFL super bowl 🏈 ...countless less intriguing events while sleeping in the back of a truck. Its like a "magic couch"!!! I miss my kids but I can take a week off..a month off.. the winter off...Control your life...or just control your tv remote... 🛋🛌 📺 🖥
In think this the first video I’ve seen Alex NOT smile 100% of the video lol not necessarily a bad thing but just never seen him “not smile” 🤷🏻♂️ lol super happy super smiley guy 😆
Trucking is a broad business. There are many situations. And many opportunities. It is sometimes hard to understand those situations. Without giving it a try. As far as competition goes. One truck company could not handle it all. When I drove CDL 48 & Canada. I made friends with drivers from other companies. That seemed to run the same trips. These were people I kept seeing at customers and the truck stops. So the reality is the companies compete. But the drivers are their own communities.
Stop apologizing. You were in business, parted as friends, and life goes on. Stop playing to the trolls -- thier opinions don't matter. Go back to what you were doing, making good content, and stop playing into the drama. You're better than that.

I never caught this was ever a big deal. It worked to work under your #s. Now it’s better for him solo. 1 thing I learned that I doubted. Leasing/renting a truck can work
Sounds like your good to work for or to work with
Alex i sent you a message on Instagram. I am moving back to Texas. Got 30000 saved. Got class a cdl. Would love to work with/for you. Your enthusiasm is infectious.
Your doing great Alex . I see what your doing you will do well

I’m 20 and really wanna get into this I have the truck that I fully own but I’m stuck because I don’t know about about hotshot
You don’t need commercial plates on you truck to do non cdl hotshot ?
No
Don't let they bring u down alex
For future purposes, I’m 23 currently in masters driving school in Paterson NJ getting my class A all endorsements, after I have my Cdl can I work w you bro? I live in Newark NJ
Yea apportioned plates will take a while to come in.
He might as well go with combination plates because you can get them the same day in Texas. He will still need to get permits to cross state lines.
Thanks great video,
RC Hotshot LLC,

Are you using a payroll software to pay your operators or a company?
I use ADP
Hey man I'd love to come shadow you for a few days to learn the business
What kind of truck is required for hot shot non cdl
You can use any truck but I recommend a dually
Let me know wat I need..
Alex would love to do a zoom with you on an experienced dispatcher
Can't see video with you siten on his lap
Cover 6 means cover ur back
In think this the first video I’ve seen Alex NOT smile 100% of the video lol not necessarily a bad thing but just never seen him “not smile” 🤷🏻♂️ lol super happy super smiley guy 😆
This country wasn't built on quitting but it happens.
Do you have people working for you?
Stop apologizing. You were in business, parted as friends, and life goes on. Stop playing to the trolls -- thier opinions don't matter. Go back to what you were doing, making good content, and stop playing into the drama. You're better than that.
People making good money stay, people that don't move on.
Alex getting the 90's photo backgrounds going. You weren't cool unless you got the neon laser beam background🤣🤣
Here's hug 😞🤗 time heals old wounds. You'll be ok Alex
