WOW this sounds so interesting and scary, I have to see this and to be a piece of history is even better. I have always listened to someone older and more experienced , what Gail starr mentioned about people going missing in the past and not coming back out, is so true there is the wildlife to deal with. and deep caves , High cliffs .... And the area would have changed so much since the 1800, More trees, rock slides fallen trees'. Sounds like an interesting exploration .. Awesome fireside chat , Best of luck peeps.

I know of a few places in Washington my dad and I were dirt biking got lost and found gold. I have three total places that we brought home boulders with quartz and gold veins. We melted it in a crucible and someone broke into our garage that night and stole it busting out the old garage windows. Really a shame. But it's true we found gold three times. Met this old hillbilly in the mountains he stumbled upon the nuclear stuff used to make bombs uranium deposits. His daughters on black inner tubes in the river and the old man brought my dad and I back to this secret cliff behind his cabin, and rolled the rock opening into a cave stacked walls all the way down with this stuff. He showed us some gold nuggets, gave us collapsed mines, we climbed the cliffs and filled up our waterbottles with gold flakes and they ended up being heavy in the bottles. But there was more just a sketchy steep sandy desert cliff rocks

They don’t find anything and send us all on a wild goose chase. No gold only a show and an old tale that has no truth. It’s just a legend nothing else.

Agree is a fictional series full of fraud. There is no gold mine. I know people locally that worked on the show. Said it's all fake.
