I love comparison videos. Comparing doesn't always equate to dupes of another fragrance but helps with chosing scents to layer.

I love Dark Kiss!!! I love her so much that I picked up a full sized bottle and a mini this year. Even though I love her I think the 2023 version is lighter than the one I already have in my collection. Dream Bright is NOTHING like Dark Kiss. The person who compared the two must have a broken sniffer.

I personally believe that Dream Bright is similar to Dark Kiss in the way that you described it...Dream Bright is lighter than Dark Kiss. I LOVE them both!!! Great video!!! 🥰😊

A lot of people have said this, but BBW should have made Dark Kiss a Halloween scent with purple packaging. Its “deep darkness” is perfectly suited to Halloween. I haven’t smelled Black Amethyst, but sounds like it would be too.
And the new Dark Kiss is still strong. I used it before bed and still smelled it on me in the morning. I detect blackcurrant even though it’s not in the notes. It reminds me of a perfume version of Creme de Cassis. I also think it’s similar to the AT Blackcurrant Vanilla (which I miss!) to my nose.
Dark Kiss would have been perfect for Halloween!
Absolutely! To me, she can totally be repackaged for Halloween. I already put a pretty bat sticker on the bottle of my mini I had purchased prior to the sale LOL
I miss Sensual Blackcurrant Vanilla so much! Loved that one. I for sure will pick up the new packaging Dark Kiss soon.
Have loved Dark Kiss for years. It is my October Halloween perfume for sure. My hubby doesn't comment on a lot of my sprays but he always loves this one and says how good it smells. Great video. Love your lipstick shade!

I had the old dark kiss but I love the new one it's so pretty. I will use my midnight fantasy with blueberry pancakes. I am a mix and match lady just using up stuff.

I love wearing Dark Kiss layered with Caress Sheer Twilight body wash in the purple packaging. It's good with Avon Prima Noir and Imari Seduction, some really old ones in my perfume collection.💜🔮💜🦋🌚

Now they may not be exact dupes but she definitely is a sibling to midnight fantasy! I own both and I've worn almost my whole bottle of midnight fantasy lol! Everyone's sniffers just pick it up different but I definitely get the comparison to midnight fantasy 😍

I received Dark Kiss as a shower gel for my birthday a few years back, and this is one of those scents that I fell in love with at first sniff. I'm more a soft and clean floral or fruity kinda gal with a hint of warmth or powder (Champagne Toast personally hits that bar for me, though I also adore Gingham), but there's just something so rich and complex about Dark Kiss that I can't really resist? An utterly intoxicating blend of floral, fruit, and musk that just makes it smell so damn good and makes me wanna sniff my wrist, like, every two minutes.
It's a unicorn in my scent profile for sure, as it's so much deeper than my others, but I don't consider that a bad thing. I like having choices that I can rotate through, whether I wanna smell fresh and clean, sweet and fruity, warm and bubbly, or sultry and moody.
I love variety! Hence why my collection is so dang big! 😆
I just picked dark kiss up for $5.95 and I have midnight fantasy so excited to try 💜 I’ll probably save dark kiss for fall.

I get a lot of plum musk in the new Dark Kiss💜 It reminds me of Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears, but only in the plum note. If you have Pink Vanilla Wish from Bodycology, the opening is similar too that too even though the notes are completely different.

Yeah i remember Black Amethyst coming back for 2021 SAS. I do remember thinking black amethyst was very similar to dark kiss when i smelled it in store, if maybe even more patchouli heavy. I passed on it at the time lol. I do like Dark Kiss on occasion though. I'm on fragrantica all the time too!

I got a mist in Dark Kiss 2 years ago, and noticed recently that it's starting to 'turn' ....doesn't smell quite right! May have to try the new one ......oh, and I agree on the Dream Bright comparison; not the same!

I have older bottles of Dark Kiss and it always reminded me of sweet dark berry cotton candy with an incensey note that keeps it from being gourmand. This year's release smelled different to me for some reason.

I plain and simply don't smell the comparison at ALL between Dark Kiss and Midnight Fantasy no matter how many people say they're exactly the same. And I never have. 🤷♀️🤷♀️ I feel much less nuts now!
I'm thinking about exchanging my full size and getting a mini, but it's also one when I want to wear it I WANT to wear it and nothing else compares so I might just hold onto it. I can't decide.

I would like to see more reviews on high end perfumes or perfumes in general. I heard that the pink prestigium from Mancera is a perfum that had very good reviews and smells like vainilla. I will love to see your opinion on that one @@marymakers

Dark Kiss and Black Amethyst are a few my favorite bbw scents. I feel these scents are sisters, Black Amethyst being the older and Dark Kiss being the younger sister. I remember getting Dark Kiss when they still had the mist in the sqare like bottles. I do love Dream Bright too but it does not smell like Dark Kiss to me.
I didn't get the new packageding because I have a set currently.

I have loved Dark Kiss since it was first released eons ago, I have a backstock When it looked like they were going to discontinue it I bought Black Amethyst and liked it but not as much as DK which is sultry. I haven't bought the new version yet due to my backstock but will have to eventually The perfume I have that is closer than Midnight Fantasy to DK is Nest's Black Tulip which is black amber plum, patchouli, pink pepper and japenese violet

I so laughed when you said " as cold as a witch tittie" that was an expression my late Irish grandma often said about cold weather. Haven't heard that expression on years. Not a fan of Dark Kiss for some reason it makes me cough & I feel like I'm chocking. Same thing happened with Black Amethyst.

I wanted to like Dark Kiss but all my nose picked up was patchouli even though it’s not listed s as a note. I usually love patchouli but not when it’s the most prominent note
I'm the same way. Try it again without other scent interference. Like sniff it first thing in store.

I refuse to purchase any scent I like that they've repackaged. The repackage always seems to come with a formula different from the original, and in most cases not a good difference at that.

I had to return this year's release of dark kiss.... She's weaker and watered down and smells much fresher... I couldn't take it because that's not dark kiss original formula such a disappointment tfs doll

@@marymakers I’ve never smelled the OG, maybe it’s just the one from this year. I can’t seem to find anything I like from BBW this year. Even the basic stuff like Vanilla Bean Noel, I just didn’t love like I usually do. Idk if it’s me or BBW is doing something different 🤔
