Well in my opinion, it's pretty much shown already in the song and video what it's all about.
Going off a journey(space), meeting new people(aliens), befriending or creating bonds(unity), having fun together(those cooking shows and mock battles), when in trouble helping them and finding a way to solve it together. And the journey never ends, as both the new friends you made will travel together with you in the journey called life.
But yeah the video is weird.
