Fun facts about Power : Exo's "Power" was chosen as the first Korean song to be played at the Dubai Fountain's repertoire. whose current music repertoire includes mega-hit songs from global artists such as "Thriller" by Michael Jackson, "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston, "Skyfall" by Adele and many more. Before the premiere on January 18, 2018, Exo held a fan meeting and a press conference in Dubai. On February 25, 2018, Exo performed "Power" at the 2018 Winter Olympics closing ceremony at Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium in Pyeongchang, South Korea. On July 4, the official FIFA World Cup Twitter posted a tweet asking fans which song they would like heard inside the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow. Exo's "Power" were among the options, and after a day of intense voting, the results were: EXO’s “Power” to be played at the World Cup stadium. 'FIFA World Cup' announced EXO's "Power" were chosen to play on the day of the final match.
Btw - if you are wondering about the ending of the Power MV, the storyline of Baek falling into the ocean is actually continued in a comic book that came with the War repackage album (their 4th) called The Power of Music. Also - you should check out the live stage performance of Power (which does have great choreo)
Although, I struggle to follow and really articulate the storyline in "Universe", as with everything to do with EXO, there are a few scenes that I know are trying to make connections to EXO's storyline. The most obvious point is that in the lyrics they are talking about "Searching the Universe" for that lost or missing love. So you can see how that parallels how EXO are searching the universe for the Tree of Life and for a way to fix everything that is going wrong, etc. "Universe" is the title track on EXO's Universe album and it's one of EXO's winter albums, so that is why it's a ballad. Up until the last couple of years, EXO used to come out with 3 to 4 albums a year -- a summer album that was more of their mainstream hype songs and a repackaged album a few weeks later, and then, in the winter, they would release another album that was more of a holiday album and it was all slower ballad songs. But for the last couple of years EXO's first comeback of the year hasn't been until the end of the year -- for example, Don't Mess Up My Tempo was released in November 2018 and the Obsession album didn't come out until November 2019. So, I guess, because the first album and repackage were released so late in the year, SM decided that releasing a winter holiday album would just be too soon after the other album. So we haven't gotten a new winter album for 2 years now. Which I think is a shame because EXO's ballads are really beautiful and I enjoy them almost more than their other songs. You should also watch a lyric video for so you know what they are singing about, because the worlds itself are very beautiful. "Universe" is a song about a person who unintentionally hurt his friend by his words and regrets the pain he caused. The guilt has tied him up and he keeps looking for a way to bring back the good memories that his mistake erased. The theme of the MV is “cafe universe" and one theory is that the story is being told through coffee metaphors. Fun fact: EXO's official fan color is Cosmic Latte which is thought to be why this whole MV uses the creamy tan and brown tones and why it is centred around coffee. First off, in order to understand what is happening in the MV, you should be aware that the story is not unfolding in chronological order. The plot is more like an explanation of feelings than a straight storyline. One theory is that the coffee is a metaphor for the feelings of bitterness. Two guys share a coffee, but they both hate its bitter taste. They think that if they add something to it, it will be less bitter. One person (Chanyeol) wanted to fix things by making it sweet, so he decided to add sugar. The other guy (Suho) tries to fix things with a more mellow, smooth approach, so he adds milk or cream to the coffee. However, there are limits to everything and even when you have the best of intentions, you can take things too far. As the leader of the group, Suho wants to smooth things over so he keeps adding milk as he tries to cover the bitterness, but in doing so it also masks the sweetness of the sugar and the pure taste of the coffee. So this is where you see the cup overflow as it is so overpowered by everything being added to it. By covering the bitterness with an overwhelming amount of cream and sugar it has now made the coffee something neither one wants to drink. So in other words, making hasty decisions without considering others feelings, viewpoints and opinions will ruin relationships in the process. The story seems to primarily focus on Suho, Chanyeol, and Sehun. Some theories say that it looks as though Suho and Chanyeol are not in good terms. Which is thought to be a continuation of how we saw Chanyeol and Suho fighting in "Sing For You," but instead of solving the conflict by talking it out, they turn their backs and build a wall around the problem. At one point you see Chanyeol with his back turned and his cup sitting upside down, and he is staring blankly at an empty spot, which is thought to be Suho's place. The conflict is affecting their friendship as a group and Sehun wants to help his friends. But it is unclear what Suho and Chanyeol are really fight about because they are hiding their true feelings and are passivagressivly pretending like everything is OK. This is where Kai, Baekhyun, Chen, and Xiumin enter the plot. Some theories have interpreted the teaser images from "Universe" as showing the members split up into two groups. It is thought that Chen, Baekhyun, Xiumin and Kai represent the internal struggles of the group because we see them in the MV and in the teaser images for "Universe" sitting at the table almost as if they are restless and struggling to come up with an answer for how to fix things or to smooth things over, etc. And the other members -- Suho, Chanyeol, D.O. and Sehun -- represent the physical manifestation of that conflict. Sehun figures that if he understands his friends' (Suho and Chanyeol) internal struggles he can figure out how to fix things. Sehun's internal struggle is depicted by Xiumin who contemplates how he can fix his friends’ mistakes (Kai and Baekhyun). You see Xiumin sitting at the table with a glass of water and tissue paper. Mirroring the problems caused by Chanyeol and Suho, we see Baekhyun add too much sugar to the coffee and Kai adds too much milk to the cup and spills the coffee. However, Xiumin seems to have come up with a solution: water can dilute the sugar and make it less sweet and the tissue can clean up the spilled coffee. D.O. and Chen are the two that are thought to represent the bitterness of the coffee in their parallel groups. Chen scribbles on the paper almost as if this represents the internal struggle that the group is going through, as if the pain, emotion and conflict is just a big mess that they are struggling to work out. Kai (who is representing Suho's internal struggles) blames himself as the reason for Chen's scribbles (Chen represents the coffee's bitterness, which is the problems within the group). Kai's (Suho's internal struggle) guilt becomes so encompassing that it turned those scribbles into physical ropes that tied him up and traped him. At one point you see Kai sitting at the table covered with cups of coffee. Each cup is different and that is thought to represent a different memory of moments in their friendship. Each memory is unique and special, but Kai seems to be overwhelmed by it all. He sits with his head on the table trying to sort out all his feelings and emotions, etc. But if you notice, what he is focused on the entire time is the plate of sugar cubes. But before Kai's guilt (Suho's internal struggle) can really consume him, Sehun steps in and gives him a new cup of coffee. Allowing Kai to have the chance to start over. Sehun also handed Kai a saucer with sugar cubes. He knows that Kai's (Suho's) regret is rooted in the fact that he was not able to give his friend Baekhyun (Chanyeol) the simple taste of sweet coffee. Which is a metaphor for not being able to provide a simple fix to their problems. If Kai (Suho) can make the coffee the perfect amount of sweet for Baekhyun (Chanyeol) this time he may be able to move on and stop holding on to the guilt, regret and anger, etc. which will help to resolve the conflict within the group. Also, it seems as though parts of the story are being told from Kai's point of view. Some theories also think that this connects to the story in their "Sing For You" MV as well. If you remember in "Sing For You," Kai was the one that seemed to be interpreting the emotions in that MV through his dance, so some say he is also the interpreter of what is happening in "Universe." Next you see that the table becomes empty and the only things remaining are the sugar cubes, the cup of coffee and the glass of water. Some say the sugar represents their ability to carefully create a sweeter future, while the water is a reminder not to repeat past mistakes. In the end, Kai decides not to add anything to the coffee, and instead, he gives Baekhyun the coffee in its pure black bitter form. Because he has now learned that there is no reason for them to keep trying to change each other. As bitter as life can be, they come to the conclusion that they should accept its imperfections -- that in friendships, there will be struggles and misunderstandings, but sugarcoating it or pretending that everything is watered down or milky good, isn't being honest with themselves. Which is what is really happening within Suho and Chanyeol -- they may be sitting next to each other but deep inside, they're opposing one another as shown through Kai and Baekhyun's actions. On the surface it seems as though the members are all talking about their friendships and the struggles they had over the past few years. But, as we have discovered with many of EXO's songs, SM has actually been planning their song releases and MV storylines since their pre-debut days, way back in 2012, as we hear in EXO's pre-debut teasers. So, if that is the case, then that was before EXO had even gone through any of their major struggles as a group, so I think the meaning of "Universe" may have evolved only because we as listeners have reinterpreted it to fit a new narrative. That's the beauty of songs like this, you can interpret it however you want and make it fit whatever story you want or need it to.
Universe is brilliant song But you should react also to Lights Out. It hasn't video, only live performances but you can find Color coded lyrics too. The song is written by Chen and is really beautiful and meaningful. Thanks for this reaction!
You should check out the dance practice for Electric Kiss; the choreography's really cool. Kai and Xiumin were especially smooth and so fluid (but when are they not) - not that the rest of the boys weren't good too lol. Xiumin, Kai and Lay always stand out to me the most whenever we get a chance to fully watch them dance.
As with everything that EXO, does, the MV for "Electric Kiss" is telling another part of EXO's story. So everything you see in the MV is strategically done to give fans more clues to another piece of EXO's story. Absolutely. everything EXO does is connected and SM never loses sight of that, even when they release a Japanese album or single. Nothing in this MV was random or done without a specific purpose and it's all meant to connect to everything they have done so far and anything to come in the future, across all languages and countries. Although I don't really understand most of what is happening in their "Electric Kiss" MV, I think what it is showing us is EXO traveling between space and time and across dimensions. When you pair the MV with each of the member's individual pre-release teaser clips, it is thought that "Electric Kiss" is showing EXO -- or maybe now that we know about X-EXO from their "Obsession" MV, maybe it's X-EXO -- as they have fully realized their full power potential. That's why you see Chanyeol create the explosion -- he no longer has the gentle little flame that we see in "Mama" or the spark that we see in "Ko Ko Bop," for instance -- his power is now fueled by anger or a need to eliminate someone or something, etc. You also see D.O. in that room full of film reels. If you remember in "Monster" and "Lotto", D.O. is the one who is filming everything that is happening and it is through that it's his videotape that Chanyeol gives to the girl at the end of "Lotto." So in "Electric Kiss" it's almost as if the films are the collection of videos that D.O. has been accumulating. However, I am not really sure if they are intended as evidence to be used against the Red Force or if the videos are supposed to be used for blackmail or if they are part of the Red Forces plan for control, etc. I'm also not really sure whether D.O. is the good and pure EXO member or if he is an X-EXO member under the control of the Red Force, etc. In "Tempo" we see the members in the movie theater and Suho is trying to prevent the members from seeing whatever is on the movie screen and we see what is thought to be the Red Force using video images of the forest to try and trick Suho into forgetting that he is trapped in the maze in "For Life," etc. However, in "Electric Kiss" Xiumin is the one that is filming with the video camera this time, and it is almost as if he is using it as he plays the lookout for the other members. You see Xiumin use the video camera to see Sehun who is in the building across from him and you see him watching Baekhyun who is in the parking lot area between the buildings, etc. Some theories even say that "Electric Kiss" is showing us the members teaming up. For instance, you see Baekhyun with his power of light seem to combine his power with Sehun's wind power which you see depicted with the tornado and Chen's power of thunder and lighting with the lighting storm ragging in the background. For a long time a lot of theories have thought that Suho is the one character who is unable to choose sides and that is why we see him always trying to save or rescue the members regardless of whether they are being controlled by the Red Force or not. And this is thought to also be shown to be the case in "Electric Kiss." Suho cannot choose a side, in fact he refuses to. He doesn't believe that any of the members could truly be evil and he thinks in the end things can eventually be made right once again. And as the leader and guardian of EXO, he doesn't want to do anything that would cause a rift between the members in the future. As you see in the MV, he feels trapped in a literal box, which is why that's where he is for the majority of the MV. Suho feels like he can't do much to fix things at this point, so he uses his power of water as a mirror to show the members themselves and to get them to reflect on the destruction they've caused or to really pay attention to what is happening all around them. By forcing them to each look at themselves, they then realize that they can break free from the Red Forces' control. With Suho's help, they all realize what they really want to do is what's best for the group, and in the end, they discover all that they can accomplish with the full potential of their powers unlocked. There is tons more going on in this MV and there are a lot more theories, but these are just a few that come to mind at the moment. "Electric Kiss" is one of EXO's Japanese tracks, so that explains why the MV is short. Japanese MVs are traditionally shorter abridged versions of the song. My theory is that it's a marketing tactic. Japanese producers want to make sure that fans are purchasing the song and album, so they make the MV short so you hear just enough of the song that you want to hear more which forces you to have to buy the song if you want to hear the full version. Japanese songs and albums from Kpop artists are produced and marketed by Japanese companies, so that is why they have different/more strict copyrights. Often, the only way you can hear the full version of the song for free is if you watch a dance practice video, or you see a performance from one of their Japanese concerts. Plus, most of the time Japanese songs are not promoted outside of Japan, so the promotions for those songs are way different. If you haven't yet, you should check out their dance practice for "Electric Kiss." It's one of EXO most complex set of choreography. It has some where around 30 transitions. This will also be a great opportunity for you to be able to hear the full version of the song.
In EXO's "Power" MV it is thought that EXO are on Exo Planet and, before the "Obsession" MV came out, we all thought EXO was trying to get their powers back from the Red Force. The original theory was that the robot, which is being controlled by the Red Force, stole EXO's powers and the members had to fight to get their powers back. That's why the robot is labeled RFO5 which stands for Red Force. Not sure what the 05 means, but some theories say that EXO's sister group, Red Velvet, could possibly be the Red Force. If you watch some of Red Velvet's MVs you might be able to make some connections between EXO's storyline and Red Velvet's storyline. Red Velvet has 5 members, so maybe the 05 stands for the 5 members. But whatever it means, the one thing I am sure of is, it's another clue to EXO's origin story. The powers the robot has are all of EXO's powers. For example, you see the robot with Chanyeol's fire orb use it to shoot fire, and the blue orb I think is Suho's water power, etc. On each of EXO's "watches" you see a symbol which is the symbol that represents each of their powers. If you remember in "Mama," each of the members has a symbol that represents their power -- If we were able to see all of their watches, I am pretty sure, we would have seen each one displayed that member's symbol. (The hooded figure and the part about the two suns, etc. at the beginning of this MV, is a reference to EXO's origin story and it's supposed to remind you of the narration in the intro of their "Mama" MV.) On a side note, as you see in this MV, each of the members is represented by a different color which coincides with their power. EXO's fandom color is "Cosmic Latte" (grey-ish-tan), but the group's lightstick is actually multi-colored. Each color represents one of the members. The lightstick has bluetooth and during concerts the lighting technicians can control the fan's lightsticks and change the colors or make them flash or strobe, etc. along with the beat of the music. So during different parts of the concert, depending on which of the members are featured at that moment on stage, they often change the color of the lightstick lights to the color that represents that member. Also, as you see in the MV, EXO's powers are controlled by the eclipse. The eclipse is where EXO summons their abilities from and that's why the majority of the stories in their MVs revolve around an eclipse of some kind or something to do with the moon. And that's why a few of their comebacks and MV releases have been on days when we have had a real eclipse, or some sort of real planetary phenomenon, etc. Yes, Chen's power is the power to control thunder, but where there is thunder there is always lightning so Chen also has control of electricity. Lightning is what creates thunder. So, some theories say that is why Chen is the one that is able to plug the power source back in without getting zapped because he has the ability to control electricity; and because Xiumin's power is snow/ice/frost he gets zapped when he tries to plug the power in because snow and ice doesn't mix well with electricity. Lay is the only member who is missing in "Power" -- this MV was during the start of when he was no longer able to work with EXO. So, because Lay was unable to participate in this MV, as part of EXO's storyline, Lay was unable to collect his power orb at this time. So originally fan theories thought that the EXO members got his power back for him and they send Lay his power orb in the mail. We see Lay receive a package, which is thought to contain his orb, in the MV for his solo song "Namanana." Although what you just watched was the Korean version of "Power," and Lay is not in this MV, they still also have a Mandarin version. Even though they no longer promote as two separate groups, they haven't completely dropped the concept of EXO-K and EXO-M. The two groups are still an important part of EXO's storyline. But, if you notice, Lay is not the only one who doesn't get his power back right away. If you look, when all the members powers are being reunited, Baekhyun is the only member who is not shown receiving his power orb -- in this MV, he is missing to start out with. If you follow EXO's storyline, we still are trying to figure out what happened with Baekhyun's powers at this point in the story. But, if you notice, in a lot of EXO's other MVs, Baekhyun is one of the main characters and he is usually singled out or stands apart from the members. So theories originally speculated that maybe Baekhyun had been corrupted by the Red Force. But now, since "Obsession," we are starting to think that maybe Baekhyun was the only one that was not under the Red Force's control. But as with everything that EXO does, we fans are all still trying to figure out what it all means. However, now that we have new information about EXOs story -- since their "Obsession" MV came out -- the new theory is that the "Power" MV is actually showing us X-EXO in training and Baekhyun has always been the one who the Red Force was unable to steal his power orb, which is why we don't see him until later on in "Power". This is another instance where, now that we know X-EXO are the ones that are dressed in bright colors, with crazy hair and makeup that, in hindsight, we think "Power" might be showing us a piece of X-EXO's storyline, instead of EXO like we originally thought. Also take notice, of the letter that is on the collar of the Kitten. If you look, you will see it's an L. It is thought that the kitten is supposed to represent us EXO-Ls. We are the ones that are supporting "EXO," dispensing power and giving them strength, etc. That's why Baekhyun is seen lovingly holding the kitten. If Baekhyun is the only one not under the Red Forces control, then he is an EXO member, so he is protecting the Kitten (EXO-Ls). In the "Power" MV, fan theories originally thought that once they defeat the robot and get their powers back EXO are then sent to Earth to start their mission. That is why at the end of this MV you see Baekhyun being sent to Earth were he lands in the water. However, now maybe Baekhyun wasn't necessarily on Earth, but maybe, because he is the one that isn't under the Red Forces' control, this scene is showing us something else. The song you hear playing at the end of the MV is another song from their Power album -- it is called "Sweet Lies." (There is no MV for it because it's a B-side track.) Theories have also been that when the members all arrived on Earth none of them arrived together and they each landed in different locations all over the world, so that might be why at the end of the "Power" MV you see Baekhyun by himself floating in the water. As you can see, even though this is one of their more recent songs and MVs the story in the MV is actually part of the very beginning of EXO's origin story so this is an example of how their storyline is not in chronological order. We EXO-L's have to really pay attention to figure out where each part of their story fits within the storyline with each new song and MV release, including all their solo content and their sub-unit releases, etc. Also, it's worth noting that if you were to pause the MV at the part in the beginning before the MV really starts, at the part where all the members are in that "club room" hanging out. You would see that everything in that room is there for a reason and it all gives clues to different things to do with EXO, such as the date of their next comeback, what the theme of the next MV might be, the title of the song, etc. The posters on the walls and even the way the members are positioned in the room and what they are doing is all another part of EXO's story and it gives us a few more clues to what to expect when it comes to EXO's story. I encourage you, if you haven't already, to go back and look at this frame of the MV and then look up some fan theories and discover all the hidden messages, just within that one part of the MV. Also, you really should check out a comeback stage for "Power" because even though this MV doesn't have any dancing, there is choreography that goes along with the song and it gives the song a totally different vibe. ruclips.net/video/QxYzQzqrKOQ/видео.html Also if you watch their concert performance of "Power," you will discover that the concert version of "Power" is the remixed version and the choreography is different then what you will see in their comeback stage. "Power" was also used as one of the theme songs during the 2018 winter Olympics and EXO even performed it during the closing ceremony.
Power is great but the MV is not that popular people prefer the performances but for me tne MV is funny. Also electric kiss dance practice is most popular that the MV :) it is really good. The song at the end of power is Sweet lies. Universe is just perfect Suho's voices match very well with musicals, all of them are great at vocals that's why they has stolen my heart.
The color theme in "Universe" is actually EXO's official color which is "Cosmic Latte / Cafe universe".EXO official colour is "Cosmic Latte" which essentially means colour with all the stars from the universe combined.EXO L fandom are referred to as "Stars". As a group, we're EXO L who help combine EXO K and EXO M to make them and us all one.
The white kitten is actually represents exol, hence the white color and the L letter in the collar.. That basically saying exols are helping exo against their enemy..heheh

Suho's first solo album released on 30th March. Please react to his Let's Love music video and Live clips of the songs that Suho sang from his album uploaded on EXO's RUclips channel. Please react to Suho's live sessions you will never regret his live sessions was even more amazing, everything just showed that he’s a true talented performer👌 His whole album just amazing👍
These are three very different songs XD I'm guessing you've already checked out the lyrics to Power? The song is very fun and especially their concert performances of it or their Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony are amazing. The little teaser at the end of Power is their b-side Sweet Lies. They have a really nice live performance of it from their concert :D I love Universe and they all show that they have very powerful vocals there. Even Kai and Sehun have lines and that's beautiful
The irony about Power is that SM thought that the song was going to be a huge hit (obviously by choosing it for the Olympic ceremonies - and they made that decision well ahead of time) - but it was Kokobop that turned out being the huge hit
Taiba Tahir he is in it. But if you look at their portraits at 5:12 that’s the first time he appears at all, and his face is darkened so you can barely see it. You don’t see him fully until the kitten scene. Then, he’s the only one who falls into the ocean. I remember people were coming up with theories at the time about what that was all about!
@@mochimochi82 yeah I keep hearing his voice and I noticed him in portrait too so I thought there might be a theory behind like the ot7 might be fighting to save him or something

If you remember in "Sing For You," Kai was the one that seemed to be interpreting the emotions in that MV through his dance, so some say he is also the interpreter of what is happening in "Universe."
Next you see that the table becomes empty and the only things remaining are the sugar cubes, the cup of coffee and the glass of water.
Universe is brilliant song
But you should react also to Lights Out.
It hasn't video, only live performances but you can find Color coded lyrics too. The song is written by Chen and is really beautiful and meaningful.
Thanks for this reaction!
Me too, I love xiumin❤❤❤
Owwww I love them all yeah.
Thank you for the reaction
(The hooded figure and the part about the two suns, etc. at the beginning of this MV, is a reference to EXO's origin story and it's supposed to remind you of the narration in the intro of their "Mama" MV.)
On a side note, as you see in this MV, each of the members is represented by a different color which coincides with their power.
We see Lay receive a package, which is thought to contain his orb, in the MV for his solo song "Namanana."
Although what you just watched was the Korean version of "Power," and Lay is not in this MV, they still also have a Mandarin version.
Thanks... the 3 songs are wonderful and have same special. Universe is so beautiful . :)
I hope you looked up their Power live performances. Soooo nice to see the boys just having fun on stage!
The universe album is my favorite exo album, i hope youll listen to the whole thing
I'm always waiting for your exo reaction😂
The color theme in "Universe" is actually EXO's official color which is "Cosmic Latte / Cafe universe".EXO official colour is "Cosmic Latte" which essentially means colour with all the stars from the universe combined.EXO L fandom are referred to as "Stars". As a group, we're EXO L who help combine EXO K and EXO M to make them and us all one.
Their album songs are too good to be missed especially their winter albums...
The white kitten is actually represents exol, hence the white color and the L letter in the collar..
That basically saying exols are helping exo against their enemy..heheh
Universe one of the proof why they called '' kings of vocals''
I hope you'll continue your EXO journey by reacting to their albums as well.
Yay!! Finally the Universe reaction 😍 this song makes me feel so many different emotions and is my favourite of EXO 💜 I can't wait to see your live performance reactions soon!!! not much left now 🥰
Kai hates coffee too😂 he just recently drink coffee just to stay awake and he do a live where he just so happy to tell exol that he is now a big boy because he can drink coffee already but he continued that he just drink coffee but with alot of milk on it.

Suho's first solo album released on 30th March. Please react to his Let's Love music video and
Live clips of the songs that Suho sang from his album uploaded on EXO's RUclips channel.
They have a really nice live performance of it from their concert :D
I love Universe and they all show that they have very powerful vocals there. Even Kai and Sehun have lines and that's beautiful
The irony about Power is that SM thought that the song was going to be a huge hit (obviously by choosing it for the Olympic ceremonies - and they made that decision well ahead of time) - but it was Kokobop that turned out being the huge hit
Reaction to power live
and electric kiss dance practice
next exo sweet lies
Baekhyun was missing in Power all the way up to when he picked up the kitten. Hmmm
Do u know why he couldn't join the MV?
Taiba Tahir he is in it. But if you look at their portraits at 5:12 that’s the first time he appears at all, and his face is darkened so you can barely see it. You don’t see him fully until the kitten scene. Then, he’s the only one who falls into the ocean. I remember people were coming up with theories at the time about what that was all about!
@@mochimochi82 yeah I keep hearing his voice and I noticed him in portrait too so I thought there might be a theory behind like the ot7 might be fighting to save him or something
