Thanks a lot for the review man! Mine is still in the mail, but seeing all the sprues laid out and the pieces shown I can use your video to plan ahead for the build. Great stuff, looks to be another banger from In era+, but boy I am not looking forward to that ammo belt assembly :D
In Era killing it with 1/100 kits, most of my 1/100 kits have been coming from In Era lately due to the once in a blue moon releases of Master grades from Bandai.
Differences Between the Two Versions: Limited Edition with Pre-painting 8 red external armor plates with glossy finishes in “main red, deep red, light red” inspired by Italian supercars. 3 gold pre-painted plates and 3 silver pre-painted plates. A total of 14 pre-painted plates, featuring three shades of red. Regular Retail Version 8 red external armor plates in “main red, deep red, light red” without pre-painted finishes, showing the plastic molding color. 3 gold pre-painted plates and 3 silver pre-painted plates. A total of 6 pre-painted plates.
sadly deluxe version only gice red part pre painted gloss but the inner frame still just plastic grey so i take the regular version and need to repaint D, E, F, G, H, I, U, and Z runner to gunmetal
this kit is 10x more detailed than the sazabi or shinanju. the only real similarity i see is they are all red.. but i guess thats enough for some people. i have 3 sazabis on my shelf, im tempted to 3d print a transparent yellow stream just to illustrate how hard this kit pisses in their faces. the sazabi ver ka is to me the best mg kit bandai has ever made and ive had tons of fun with them.. but any detail ive ever added to it is completely outshined by the amount of detail built in to this kit.
Completely true. I did the sazabi verka as im a mg/pg snob (do like rg too, but the bigger size gets me) and this kit has waaaay more detail, but sazabi verka is a pretty old kit too. Now sazabi verka v2.0 may have merrit, but instill dont think enough to sink this bad boys ship.
@@Mc-Derpulous high 5 fellow mg/pg snob! a 2.0 would probably have to be metal frame (dont get me wrong, i AM down!) and would cost hundreds more than this kit. that would be sick and all, but for now ill just give in era+ the heaping helping of credit they deserve for this.
this thing shits on both of them at once without even noticing either of them are there. dont get me wrong, i have 3 sazabi ver kas, its literally my favorite bandai kit.. and this is on another level entirely. all the details ive ever put on my sazabis (metal parts, 3d printed thrusters, all of it) are built in to this kit and then some.
@@megaflux7144 Yeah, but Sazabi's design is really something else and unique. I love In Era kits, i have all except this one. Idk, have mixed feelings about the design. How tall is it compared to Sazabi?
@@Daskanoess literally 1 inch taller than sazabi measuring to the tip of the fin on their heads (not expanded shoulder flaps or mounted cannons). its not JUST about size though, the kit itself is much more mechanically refined and actually more fun to build (coming from a guy with 3 1/100 sazabi ver. kas on the shelf behind him), it comes with higher quality instructions and everything. the entire package makes bandi look lazy (granted sazabi is an older kit) and on the shelf this draws your attention even more than the 2 custom sazabis (even with 3d printed fuel tanks, etching, paint, and all the metal parts). i was on the fence at first glance too, but having assembled it and taken my time doing so BECAUSE it was such a joy to build this kit is the better option. im considering grabbing a second one just for the sake of customizing the hell out of it and giving it a better color scheme.. but my backlog is sooo big right now i seriously have doubts if i would get to it in this life time.

Gatling ammo belt is so annoying to build but it's awesome when it is done
Neo: We need guns, lots of guns.”
Lizard: I can help you with that.😼

It's so wierd bandai still hasn't done anything to combat the third part 1/100s when at this point they're the whole segment
just got mine as a early Christmas present that i paid for, i was not expecting it to be a big box, its bigger then sazabi verka imo
Great reviews like all your videos. What does the deluxe version include that this doesnt? I am really itching to buy this.

either way it looks weird
The chinese sazabi
Yeah combination of Sazabi and Sinanju
@jllahobby It looks hella good
as good as the sazabi is this kit rips it in half and shits down its face.
