With an opening sequence like this, I'm surprised Hiccup didn't lose a limb sooner!
Jurassic World Live Tour didn’t have as much passion as this did. From the actors and dragons this was much more enjoyable. God how much I miss it.

I love it how this opens. Especially the "Incredible. Amazing. Dragons." and then when it plays Jonsi's Tornado song with toothless' silhouette it gives that sense of "And this is how it began. How a boy and a dragon changed the world."

Unlike this particular arena performance in which the actors use small microphones around their heads to sound louder, Marvel Universe Live is almost completely pre-recorded vocal track.
at the dance scene, I never knew Hiccup could dance, they should've put that in the original movie!
They need to bring it in 2014 for the new movie, or make another spectacular involved around the second movie!

I love how the lighting images create the illusion of movement.
My gosh the creative effects rival that of even the Lion King on Broadway! They're better!

I wish I had been able to see this when they were still doing tours years ago, but my parents thought it would not be worth their time to take me to anything so inconvenient, out of the way, and expensive. Hence the reason I've never really left my hometown 😅. I used to watch the sneak peek DVD for this performance obsessively and daydream about getting front row seats and going backstage to pet the animatronics.

I took my parents to see the Aug 23 show. It was amazing. I wish it was still running I'd go to see it again.
the intro, from 2 to 3:40 is one of the most beautiful moments of my life. I was there for one of the showings, but was higher up and head on. From my angle we couldn't see hiccup during that moment, just the dragon flying through the mist, ducking and weaving through the light. The visuals, combined with the music, brings tears to my eyes. Watching this let me relive that moment. ;v; ty

Oh, thank you so much for this! I learned about this late when it came to my area and wasn't able to get tickets. I even signed up to volunteer so I could at least catch bits and pieces, but they ended up not needing me or whatever.
I saw an ad for this on a dvd of Madagascar 3 and I wish I was able to see it.
Let's not forget after how to train your dragon 2 there will be a third one
And also not forget: another season of Dreamworks Dragons on tv.
I know that: i've already preordered the Blu Ray.
It was supposed to be three movies.. just saying ;)

LT.SARGE'S VIDS early March 2019 is the release of the next movie and Race to the Edge concluded a week or so ago meaning the end of the spinoff series at least until after httyd3 hopefully there are a few holiday specials after
Thank you for uploading this! I wanted to go and watch this live, but my parents said, "NO".
No I wasn't in the VIP area as is our tickets were over 100.00 we had great seats and my new iPhone 5 with hd did a great job though I wished it had zoom I had a hard time getting the full movie off of my phone since it was a large file. Glad I was allowed to record the show.

the wires broke for me the time i was there and it was extremely awkward how hiccup was fighting red death with his sword even though red death was flying....

It'd be amazing if a musical was made for this movie Heathers got one last year-ish and it was originally released in the late 1980s so there may be chance
My mom & I were there on Jan 4th, the 7:00pm showing. This was beyond awesome! I loved the way they captured the story accurately! The tech behind this was cool to see as well. I bought the Meet The Dragons VIP package & got to see the dragons backstage! I got some HTTYD merchandise, then I went upstairs w/others to get dressed by costumers as Vikings for a picture in front of a green screen, as well as briefly meet Hiccup & Astrid, who gave us some dragon training. Were you in the VIP area?

I wish they got the real voice actors on here to actually do the voice but the actors would do the acting

I didn't like Hiccup's voice and he seemed a lot whinier than his canon self. Also, the Viking kids were meaner to him than I liked.

Something like this would work much better as a theme park attraction instead of a live stage show. Think about it - picture getting off a roller coaster and you see an animatronic Toothless soar over your head

Loved it, though does any1 know where theres a sort of ish HD kind of video of httyd live spectacular? Im mean this one is ok but i didnt see it because the tickets were too expensive for me so i want to see one with HD or close to it video.
