I was also thinking for your headless horseman skeleton, maybe you could fill him out with any old blankets/towels or other scrap fabrics you have lying around (I actually might have a couple blankets that I don't want anymore that you can have) and then you can secure the outfit and everything else with some ribbon, string, or twine. 🎃
Hey Ghoul!! You do a great job and I'm greatful for you showing us what's out there gives me a chance to see what I want and plan. I put clothes on a skeleton for a party once and I used suspenders and filled the legs with batting from the fabric store and the headboard, look at home depot for big wood yard steaks and nail to the back and stick in the ground. It All sounds so cool specially the headless horseman costume. Can't wait to see what you do! 🖤🌙💫
Thank you! You're always so sweet when you comment 🖤🖤 I appreciate the tip! Everyone has been so helpful. I was so lost on how I was going to get his pants to stay up lol 👻🥀🖤
I want that metal crow. Yes, it's a crow. Ravens beaks have a hump and it points down. They do look like pacman😂😂 I do want the JP mug but it's supposed to have a witches hat topper. I'm a ginger and it's so hard to find things with ginger hair and halloween. That deadhead moth!😮 i hope I'm able to find it. It's perfect
😂 yeah, I kinda just say bird now because I have looked up side by sides and I still can't tell the difference 🫣 Oh, so that's why the JP mug was on sale 😂. I hope you find everything you want! I know I always get so excited finding pieces on my list.
I really like the JP cream and sugar set, so cute!!! 🥰 I also thought that snake tapered candle holder was pretty cool. 🐍 🕯️ 🐍 I am also often deterred from purchasing certain items if they only make a left or a right-facing model and not both… I like my decor to be balanced!!! Lol (In fact, I’m considering returning that Raven you and I both purchased on the same day for that exact reason! I had really wanted two, one facing in either direction, but for some reason I bought it anyway lol.) 😅
Haha I actually wanted two of those Ravens and I didn't buy two because of that exact same reason, but I don't have to have two of them as I feel like I could use one for a spooky forest scene.
You can use a pool noodle for the pants and stuff it with plastic. You may have to superglue the pool noodle to stay in a circle. I stuffed my large scarecrow arms and legs with plastic bags and plastic that I ripped from a large roll of plastic that I got from dollar tree. If the pool noodle looks weird then just try stuffing the pants with as much plastic as possible. Don't use newspaper because if it's gets rained on you'll have problems. Edit: I commented too early sorry haha. I also used a 8ft plastic coated steel garden stake that I bought from home depot to attach my scarecrow to that I stuck in the ground. I bought a single one but they do sell them in packs as well. It's around $9.50 for it. Hope that helps!
This helps sooo much!! Thank you!! I didn't know how in the world I was going to get the headboard to stand up lol. Also, dollar tree has rolls of plastic? I'm definitely going to get some pool noodles!
@@StellaLiveDIY Great! Yes dollar tree has rolls of plastic. It's in the aisle with the small blue tarps, paint rollers etc. It's 9x12 so you can rip pieces and roll them up into a ball to stuff the arms and legs. Dollar tree also has pool noodles. You'll need two garden stakes for the headboard. You can smaller 6ft ones if you need to. Maybe use a zip ties to hold the headboard to the garden stakes.
I hope you find them! I'm doing a giveaway soon and I have smaller one I'm giving away plus a couple other items 🖤👻🖤 I don't know if you have a TJ Maxx, but I have had better luck finding them at TJ Maxx.
To you question about getting the pants to stay up, you could fill in the skeleton's middle section with bubble wrap. Just wrap a bunch of it around and around and around the pelvic area until you get it at fat as you need to for the pants to grip. I recommend the bubble wrap if he's going to be outside and get wet. That said, if you don't need to make him bulky, which I didn't with mine, just pin/tie the pants to the pelvic area or lowest ribs, however it looks best given the size of the skeleton and the pants. When the shirt is over it, you can't tell .
You all are so creative in the comments! When I was trying to think of how to do it myself I had 0 ideas and there have been so many helpful suggestions. I actually really like the idea of bubble wrap. Maybe I could use tape to give him some shape. Thank you!
Thank you! I appreciate this. It's the whole reason I made this channel. I was getting tired of RUclipsrs glossing over items, showing one second clips and not including prices so I decided I was gonna be what I want to see lol. I hope you like it here 🖤🥀👻
I love the pumpkin with the ghosties, so cute and WOW you are so right, it does remind one of PAC MAN. Miss that game. Of course, since Halloween is not my favorite holiday 👻👻(Gasp...lol, don't come for me) I love the cutsie stuff the most 👻👻 The Elvis statue 🗽 Yes, yes, I agree with wanting both left and right items, book end holders especially.
Lol right? Every time I see those pumpkins with the ghost I think about pac man lol. I'm glad you like the cutesy stuff that means this video still had stuff you would like 😗
Wow, you're really knocking them out! I'm truly impressed, since I can't seem to get my editing a** in gear! LOL Anyway, I had an idea for your headless horseman....what about wrapping the skeleton in newspaper or seran wrap or something cheap from the dollar store and then using packing tape to secure what you've wrapped (so it doesn't come undone basically) and then you'd have a little girth to your skelly.....?
That's an excellent idea!! I will have to try that out. I bought the costume and then I was like wait how are the pants gonna fit on him 🤣 I had a little bit of extra time since I didn't have my two year old all of last week. He was with his Dad so I had extra time to work on some videos 🖤👻🖤
I love you and ur decor so I will watch anything and everything you post! As to the question about the headless horseman costume, can u use plastic bags or newspaper to fill it in, and also what about hot glue or crazy glue to stick it so it doesn't fall off. Or u could purchase a cheap belt from the thrift store and put it on the pants and tie it tight! Umm, it's kind of hard for me to think until I see it but hope that helps maybe. ❤ I love when you said, "scandle", 😂😂. Well it is a scandle since they didn't have a left and right arm on that! 😊 As always tfs I appreciate your time bcuz that helps me to determine what stores I should go to do thank u. 😘😘👍🙏🙏❤️❤️🎃👻💀🖤🩶🤍
Haha 😂 yeah, my brain never wants to brain. And thank you! I love you all! You're all so sweet and supportive. I couldn't have asked for a better group of subscribers. I feel so lucky 🖤 And yes! That is a great idea. I may actually even have a belt that I could use... If I can figure out how to put it on 😂 I ordered it from shein and I'm confused lol.
For headless horseman pants I'd go with kids size, slim like Sears used to have and then put boots over them if too short. What about xs leggings, or tights.or ti e them off
This is an excellent idea! But I already bought the headless horseman costume since it was on clearance for $13 so I don't want to spend money on another pair of pants. But I'll keep this in mind next time I want to put clothes on my skeleton lol thanks!
I also used to buy everything Halloween and found myself not loving most of the stuff the following year. I have donated most of my decor and now only buy stuff made of natural materials (terracotta, marble, wood, metal) and I don’t buy anymore plastic or resin items so that limits my options which makes my spending less and more purposeful!
These are very good rules. If I ever do get the chance to create my own Halloween line, I want to do it with natural materials! That'd be so freaking awesome.
Hi Stella, I do enjoy watching your videos, however I think the videos could been made better by more thorough editing, getting rid the mistakes out of the speaking parts. Wishing you much success.
I appreciate the feedback. I don't know how many videos you have watched, but I have mentioned in several videos that I rerecord voice overs multiple times and still trip over my words. I've been told that it makes me relatable and that's what I strive for. I'm no where near perfect and I'm not trying to be. Thanks for watching!

I swear y'all are geniuses in the comments. Why didn't I think of any of this?! Lol.
You're gonna' spoil me, I might need a video every day now...🔥🖤🔥
There will be another video tomorrow too! 👻🖤 I can't promise anymore than that though haha
Exactly!!!!

@StellaLiveThrifts I found the Raven and deadhead moth tray today.
No, Frankie or maiden yet, but I'm hopeful. ❤
