New tubular cylinders really need more time to pick. I know why ...)))) Excellent pick Master 👍🔓🌐 Very nice your tensioner tool. Handmade..or I'm mistaken about it ..!) Good luck 👍🔓 Master
Indeed it would. I have shown the impressioning tools in another short and a full video also. Whilst impressioning is the best tool for a quick open on tubular locks, I also enjoy single pin picking as shown here 😎👍🏻
Can't use the key to put it back in position... meaning an experienced lock picker can pick the lock, set it in said position and leave it there. Making it really inconvenient for the owner.
I’m five months late, but if you ask the manager at most storage facilities they’ll cut your lock for free after you sign an agreement. Source: I am a storage facility manager lmfao
The centre cutout is what the key uses to turn the lock too. Without it, the key wouldn't work. That said, there are locks like the Australian Galaxy that has an internal notch. This just requires a modified tensioner to pick it 👍🏻
I just mentally filled in the "... Bosnian Bill and ..." part when you showed use the tools.
Very awesome video!
One little trick I have used before is to file the little nub off the key, then you can use the key in any position :D
that lock is pretty cool I guess. I would call it tubular

Thanks. Yes, hand made tensioner
An impressioning tool would be much easier as it will hold the bitting and allow you to relock it with ease.

Good job nice pick

It's not impenetrable, but it makes you appreciate the engineering that went into the tubular lock to make it more resistant to lock picking
Can I send a drill bit through the center of the lock? I lost my key to my storage unit lock??

you can put it back with the tool Bosnian Bill and LPL made easy. If impressions a key from the picked lock and acts like a key

Can you use a normal tension tool and single-pin pick?
Most tubular locks require these type of tensioners. The normal tok/bok tensioners used for pin tumblers tend to slip out 😁👍🏻
What if the lock doesn't have the cut out in center? How does one tension it?

Any probing tool you would recommend?
I used a broken pick. Just filed the tip flat and it worked great 👍🏻
Como se arregla una llave tubular ?
Can i buy one of those tension tools off of you?
@@FrancescoCaban no, I only made one. You can buy them from many different places. Like Sparrows etc
@@Dmaclocksport thanks brother
@Dmaclocksport how about Amazon?
@Dmaclocksport how about Amazon?
@@ms.twingem9476 much of the picking tools on Amazon are garbage. Better off getting tools from a reputable supplier
Where can this type of tensioner can be bought?
Sparrows sells one called the goat wrench
Thanks! Managed to open mine without it, but I definitely want something to make it not as tedious next time, awesome video! Cheers
nicely done 👍🇬🇧
What if you've locked the keys to your safe in your safe and the only thing you have to pick the lock is a thin screwdriver and a SIM card tool? 😭
Totally tubular
Ever notice that you can not buy the old school bic ink pens anymore? I wonder why that is....
😆👍🏻
You can't do this without a tensioner tool
Indeed. True of almost all lockpicking 😎👍🏻
Barrel key
I can barely hear you.
Had to turn my fan off speak up good info .
