I'm honestly glad they sell these animals for so much in your country. Yes they sell them cheaper in others but this makes it easier for people to not do proper research on the pet and be able to take care of the animal well. 500$ for a gecko seems reasonable, they need a lot of care after all and that way they won't get impulse bought

As somebody who has had rabbits in the past. You're totally right. The amount of work required to keep them happy and healthy is comparable to dogs, more so in some cases. They need friends like rats do but way more space. They are wonderful pets, but not for beginners and they cannot be kept in the hutches normally sold for them.
I currently have a rabbit (holland lop named Maple) and while I love her to death she requires a lot of work. She's free roam since I live in a small apartment anyways and rabbits need a lot of space, but I have to be very careful about making sure she doesn't chew on any of my furniture or anything. She's also very bossy, I tried introducing her to another rabbit once and she was very territorial, lol. But she still requires lots of toys and engagement to keep her happy. People think rabbits are really easy pets but they honestly aren't. They're also so much smarter than people think they are, I've trained mine to do quite a few tricks. Sorry for the rant, lol
I had a rabbit who lived for so long and we kept him in a cage because one of our dogs was obsessed with the rabbit. So we fed him and all the normal stuff but I felt bad because we kept him in a cage. We let him out to play a lot and he just roamed around which was very funny. He was in his cage a lot but he really liked it in there. The neighbors had an outdoor hutch for rabbits and we wanted to try and have him in there but he didn’t really like it. I hope we gave him a happy life and we tried everything we could to make his life the best we could. R.I.P darth fluffy. He lived for over 10 years which is insane
Yeah. My stepsister’s roommates kept rabbits in hutches on their back patio, and it was BAD. They didn’t want to fix them because they wanted to try to “breed” them and the concrete patio was always covered in various rabbit excrements. Meanwhile, I used to volunteer at a 4-H farm and knew a guy who cared for a couple of rabbits like they were his children. He had a nice big enclosure set up for them in the small animal barn and made sure to spend lots of good quality time with them. There’s definitely a right way and a wrong way to care for rabbits.
"You needa keep hamsters in little separate cages-" Me having horrific childhood flash backs of my neighbors kids having hamsters, those hamsters having babies them the mumma eat all the babies AND the dad: o-o yeah... Please keep them separate
The lady with the ferrets probably bathed them too often which causes ferrets to overproduce oils and musk and makes them smellier. My ferrets aren't stinky at all and I bath them every 2 to 3 months
I would suggest only bathing your ferrets 1 to 2 times a year I hope not to offend you but 2 to 3 months is still to often but also feeding them the correct diet also helps them to not smell and their coats to look more healthy i did a lot of research before getting mine and still look up information

I agree with you on the feeding snakes issue, I don't think I'd be comfortable having to feed a snake dead mice, I just love them soo much. Love your videos! edit: I don't mean to be rude, but please stop replying /nm
@Ciara Marshall You cannot. They have to eat mice. I own snakes, and I've never heard of that. Egg eating snake is your best bet but you'd have to feed them small eggs lmao.
Carina The NightWing African egg eating snakes eat quail eggs, a food that’s common in most super markets. Also garter snakes, they eat fish & crickets as well as mice.
@@fishnchip9925 Garters shouldn't eat bugs (unless they're weee lil babies, then you can give them worms, but that won't last long, they're far too big to survive on bugs), and they should never eat just fish! Though I do know they can eat fish (they can end up dealing with vitamin deficiencies if they only eat fish, depending on the kind it is) I've never seen quail eggs in markets? Maybe it depends on location though. In that case, an African Egg Eating snake wouldn't work for me, and it maaaay be the same for some people? Imo you shouldn't get a snake at all unless you're comfortable possibly feeding dead mice/rats lmao, there's too much risk of things not working out.
Carina The NightWing Oop- Sorry I meant babies can eat some bugs here & there if they refuse other foods. & here in Russia we have quail eggs everywhere. Sorry if that got messed up in translation lol. But yes, unless if it’s a water/egg snake they will need some sort of rodent

I personally wouldn’t get them if I were you. I have them and they cost so so so so so much money. And they need constant attention and care. (They also don’t like to be held or pet for like the first 5 years until they warm up to you). Don’t get me wrong I love them and would do anything for them, but they’re just a lot, but if you still wanna get them I’d just recommend doing a lot of research first! And have everything prepared and ready beforehand!
The Thing about being held is not true it all depends on getting them used to be in hands, but they arn't pets like cats and dogs, they rarely like to sit still so you can pet them but they can be quite funny anyway.
I wanted a snake for ages but my parents did NOT want a snake so they got me pet mice to put me off. I adored these mice but when they died, I didn't want to replace them with more mice so I ended up with a gorgeous pastel royal python called Noodle. She loves to cuddle up with me and sit around my neck. The frozen mice gross me out a little bit but you get used to it :)
yep! i have mice and im planning on getting a snake sooner or later and ill most likely be weirded out for a bit feeding basically old pets to a new pet
im from aus. lowkey it's pretty sad that we'll never get so many of the cool pets we see in the us (my tarantula dreams have been crushed) but also i am so so grateful for our strict biosecurity. (thank you government for protecting our ecosystems. pls protect them more)
@@MissGlassButterfly some people do, and there and plenty of tarantula breeders around. the aussie ones just arent as cute and fluffy and the us types you see on tv :(
I think the U.S. needs more protections especially with exotic breeds, cause once someone released a Burmese Python into the wild in Florida and it’s been destroying the Everglades. Even the alligator population. And there is a ton of animal abuse here sadly. :’(
Ik I want guenie pigs but I can't afford a hamster a fish and a gunie pig all at the same time not only would I not be able to afford all 3 but I would probably not have enough time to give each of my animals the attention they need. Because of that if I ever get guenia pigs I will only own them. For now I am happy with just my hammy and fish but I would like to own many other animals.
Same. I really would like a horse, but they are definitely a lot of care. And they need quite some space too, my plot ain't gonna be enough sadly welp Dream on, I guess :(
There are some breeders who are trying to breed pugs without the squashed face and breathing problems. I think they're called retro pugs, but they're not quite there yet.
I have a chinchilla and I've had mice and rats in the past, I can say from experience that chinchillas are more interesting then both rats and mice combined, my chinchilla Picchu who is 5 years old is really intelligent and also so fun to watch, they also are quite literally the softest thing you will ever feel in your life. I love watching her just run around and interact with the world around her especially jumping up the stairs. I'm quite the night dweller too though (but she is kinda active during the day) they more crepuscular (think that's the right word, most active during dawn and dusk) The main problem for some people is the commitment as chinchilla can live (when cared for properly) 15 to 20 years, they also have such a range of personalities no two chinchillas are ever the same. Definitely say don't completely turn away from chins you don't get a proper view of what they're like from the pet store.
I dont know anything about chinchillas, but I think they look really cute. I touched one once and it was reeeeeally soft. Im not interested in buying one but your comment made me curious so id like to ask some questions if you dont mind. can you teach them tricks? Do they bond with you? And are they solitary animals? And how is it with costs and effort compared to rats for example? 🤔 Ah and someone told me they dont really like to be petted is that true?
@@priestrat this is an old comment, but I have a 17 year old chinchilla and I love gushing about him so I thought I'd answer. Yes, you can teach them tricks, mine can roll over and twirl around for a yogurt drop (his favorite treat), though it's not on a word command like a dog, it's more the motion of my hand accompanied by the treat. It takes a lot of work, but they'll figure it out if they're as food motivated as mine. I also heard of them being potty trained but never was able to make that work fully, he still poops a bit outside the enclosure. You can definitely bond with them, they're very social animals and form strong bonds. Mine loves to chill on my shoulders while I'm relaxing on the couch after work and I eat breakfast with him every morning, he also loves pets and scratches, he will purposefully angle himself so you get the right spots. You have to earn their love over time though, respect their boundaries, let them get used to your smell, and give them space if they bark or otherwise tell you to buzz off. Their body language is very clear. They live in little herds in the wild and do best in pairs as pets, mine was hand raised as an orphan though and never learned to get along with other chins so he needs a little more attention from me. They are expensive though, more comparable to a dog or cat. They need annual vet visits with an exotic specialist, quality food and hay, a huge enclosure with lots of toys and perches and hidey holes, and can be prone to health problems if not bred responsibly. Pet stores in the US are notorious for their chins having shortened lifespans unfortunately, so Id reccomend reputable breeders or even rescues. My old guy has lost some teeth in his old age, so he gets his teeth ground down at the vets a few times a year, and he was prone to eye infections due to the way his eyelids and lashes developed until a specialist was able to correct it. He had to be neutered for health reasons, but that can be dangerous if not done properly or not given proper aftercare. They're amazing pets and very loving if you treat them well and respect their space.
@@Hitchcock00Starlet thank you for the throughout and informative answer :) i hope you can spend many more happy years with your chins! They have a great home
We feed the local wild Sulfur crested cockatoo, they are definitely crazy. They bang on our roof until we feed them and if they run out of seed in their bowls they throw them out.
When will you get a dragon, pegasus, or unicorn though? Also if you want to get something like a pug consider getting a puggle since they are bred to have a face which they can actually breath with
6:56 “you need to have a whole room for them” my alexandrine parrot over here having access to the whole entire house and he’s smaller then those large birds
Bunny’s usually get scared during fireworks and mine died because of it so I would not recommend having a room for them without comfort during that, and they also like big rooms for them to sleep in
My mom has a pair of ball pythons. She has put one around her neck and gone for a walk. She loves people's reactions. Random person: what an interesting neck...HOLY CRAP ITS ALIVE!
I own 2 ferrets, and I don't really have an issue with their smell. I don't give them baths super often (because it's unnecessary, and dries out their skin), but they're perfect for me, because we have a couple things in common, we like shiny things, we don't sleep much at night, and we get random bursts of energy. Do research before owning pets, and take care of them properly, it's worth it.
im from Venezuela and omg that's so true, my grandmother used to have two macaws, they were gigantic, also noisy, in my house there was also one and the one from my house literally appeared one day in our backyard and as we fed it, it never left . It was very beautiful I don't know how to describe it, majestic, definitely the royalty of the birds.
i wanna say something about snakes (this is my personal opinion) snakes are not boring you can actually ''cuddle'' with them and they are fun to handle, you can get a fast active snake, you can get a calm relaxed snake, big or small this is my personal opinion about snakes so i will say they are not boring btw if you like reptiles then try and research a crested gecko they have a very easy diet normally you need to feed them live insects but crested geckos eat powder mixed with water, and then sometimes you can give them an insect (powder diet is healthy for the gecko btw) they are AMAZING when it comes to handling too, there are sooooo many different colors patternes (morphs) and traits! they are also fairly easy to keep
@Charles Fournier Phaneuf my dad has a snake, he cuddles with us and does funny stuff, like tricks (not queued tricks or anything, just funny little movements). i personally believe snakes are very interesting, even moreso than fish imo, but every snake is different. some will do what mine does, and some will not, all depends.

I have owned mice and currently have a snake, even though I adore mice it has never bothered me to feed the snake mice because I know that the mice are humanely put down. Personally I am against live feeding because the mouse has to be crushed alive which is not humane.
Thank you for sharing your wise and compassionate regarding Pug breeding standards. So many people think that simply because we find a breed cute it justifies unhealthy and cruel breeding standards. Thank you for thinking of the animal first!
Sakura, I just wanted to clear up some topics for you, if you got your baby rabbit from a pet store it is not your fault it died, bunnies at pet stores are taken from their mother at a very young age, when they are not ready to start eating solid food. They are bread in large numbers and transported i large cramped places to go to a small living place in a pet store, pet stores also sell such tiny rabbit cages that do not give the rabbits enough room to play. These all cause health issues. As well as the pet stores providing food with way too much sugar for young rabbits. So it’s not actually your fault.
@@Citrus_stream we saved it from being ran over, it's eyes were not even opened yet and we did not get food for it until a day later and it was not pooping
@@Citrus_stream not every pet store. The rabbit dieing quickly bc of bad food, small cages and bad bedding isn't the pet store's fault, but the bun's owners fault for not doing their simple research

@@Springspin I was on the same page with you until you said 2 females from the same nest. Rabbits don't understand family connection, so having them from the same nest wouldn't matter. Housing two females together will most likely end up with them fighting, sometimes to till one kills the other. Housin two males is even worse. They often fight till death. The best combination is a female and a neutered male. Also, don't buy them from a pet store but adopt (for multiple reasons). But the relevant reason is that just like humans rabbits don't just like any species mate you pare them with. It has to click between the two. They will live with each other for the rest of their lives after all. A shelter will pair two rabbits until the two individuals are content with whomever they get pair with (source: studied to become an animal care taker, months of internship work at an animal rescue center, plus a member of a bunny forum on FB where we advice each other and have bunny experts) If this was common knowledge less instances of rabbits fighting would happen and less of them would end up in shelters. That's why spreading good information is so important :)
I just want a pet so bad but I’m scared about my mental health affecting them. I don’t really want to risk sleeping for 12 hours and my pet going hungry because of my problems.

I used to have guinea pigs I got them for my 7th birthday, two girls (sisters)which I called Ginger and Black beauty. They both lived pretty long lives though Ginger who we thought was the healthiest died first and very unexpectedly. We didn’t expect Black Beauty to live much longer after that (they were very close) but she ended up living for around three more years, we ended up having to put her down due to an eye infection that wasn’t getting better, but before they put her down the vets said they think she was completely deaf and blind and had been her whole life, we had no idea. I now have a cat called Gem, I love him so much though he does keep getting into trouble, he even got caught in a snare last year (2020) and he fights with some of the other cats in the area.
I had a neighbor with a macaw who he would take for "walks" with a leash that was essentially just a string loosely tied around the bird's neck. The macaw attacked me on multiple occasions when I was walking through the neighborhood, but I don't blame the bird. I assume it was stressed due to being outside in the cold with a bunch of strange people walking around. Still, it hurt a lot when the bird ripped out some of my hair.

Contact a place that can actually take care of them! :)
I know someone who used to have a big bird at their house and I always felt bad for it. They just had a big cage for it and it was allowed to climb outside of it but that was it really. I always felt like it should be in a good zoo, the wild, or a sanctuary and not in a cage in the living room. I think the bird is in a better home now bc the son who loved the bird took it, so I bet she has good care now.
Macaws and Cockatoos are just some of my favourite birds. BTW do you still have that little budgie, Louis (i think), that your looking after? There are wild animal sanctuaries that specialize in caring for different kinds of wild animals, even very large/complex ones, that need a home and cannot be released.

Ferrets actually smell alot even after neutered they still let a smell off occasionally. Alot of people take them on and get rid when they can't deal with them which is horrible. Cause they are actually very loving and become attached to their owners
As someone who had rabbits in the past, I am always glad when people opt out of owning them because they are so much work. Way too many people just buy one bunny, stick them in a tiny cage and call it a day. I had 3 bunnies and they had 2 hutches and a big fenced area connecting them. We have a huge yard we had to regularily relocate the rabbit enclosure because they dug up the grass a lot, and also to make sure they got enough sun and shade, according to season.
Very true!
I remember having friends who had a rabbit but they kept it in a small cage and I never saw it out of the cage once.

I used to have a bullfrog that would eat live mice, pretty weird
Though I do know they can eat fish (they can end up dealing with vitamin deficiencies if they only eat fish, depending on the kind it is)
I've never seen quail eggs in markets?

I love how u r responsible and know that u can't own certain pets because they need extra care!
And they need quite some space too, my plot ain't gonna be enough sadly welp
Dream on, I guess :(
Who else paid more attention to the bird? The bird was just being so cute throughout the video.
Meee
There are some breeders who are trying to breed pugs without the squashed face and breathing problems. I think they're called retro pugs, but they're not quite there yet.
I have a chinchilla and I've had mice and rats in the past, I can say from experience that chinchillas are more interesting then both rats and mice combined, my chinchilla Picchu who is 5 years old is really intelligent and also so fun to watch, they also are quite literally the softest thing you will ever feel in your life. I love watching her just run around and interact with the world around her especially jumping up the stairs. I'm quite the night dweller too though (but she is kinda active during the day) they more crepuscular (think that's the right word, most active during dawn and dusk)
The main problem for some people is the commitment as chinchilla can live (when cared for properly) 15 to 20 years, they also have such a range of personalities no two chinchillas are ever the same.

I got a baby rabbit then it died today :(
Aw, I'm so sorry for your loss. :(
Sakura, I just wanted to clear up some topics for you, if you got your baby rabbit from a pet store it is not your fault it died, bunnies at pet stores are taken from their mother at a very young age, when they are not ready to start eating solid food.

He's a good boy, hand trained, loves chillin around shoulders and exploring, and when he's exploring he's actually really funny.

I do have to feed him live mice because he's really picky. I've personally been desensitized to it though 😅
honestly really wish I could get more pets! I'm absolutely in love with small animals! my dream is to get a dwarf rabbit, 2 mice, and a conure. :) you inspire me so much! You are an amazing pet owner!
Oof, bunny care is HARD. And very, very expensive. Do one wrong move or buy the wrong thing and their life is at stake
@@milkaa8335 I know! When I'm able to get a bunny I will put all my time into research and get advice from veterinarians, books, etc. (before getting the bunny of course) Animals are sooo important and I WILL make sure I give them the best life possible, animal care shouldn't be taken lightly.
I have a dwarf lol bunny called Nala he’s so cute but a danger floof I have plenty of scars because of him
(Yes my MALE bunny is called Nala my brother named him)
@@sehamalhaidery1047 if you get a bunny, please get 2! they are social animals and need to be together. the best option is 2 females from the same nest
A shelter will pair two rabbits until the two individuals are content with whomever they get pair with
(source: studied to become an animal care taker, months of internship work at an animal rescue center, plus a member of a bunny forum on FB where we advice each other and have bunny experts)
If this was common knowledge less instances of rabbits fighting would happen and less of them would end up in shelters. That's why spreading good information is so important :)

Her: every child has a hamster when their child”
Me: I had a snake
Someone: can you get this pet?
Soda: dude i dont wanna go to jail
Her:You can’t really like-...hang out with them

13:16 The birb started singing September this makes me happy
When the cockatiel started singing 😭🥺🥺💗
I had a neighbor with a macaw who he would take for "walks" with a leash that was essentially just a string loosely tied around the bird's neck. The macaw attacked me on multiple occasions when I was walking through the neighborhood, but I don't blame the bird. I assume it was stressed due to being outside in the cold with a bunch of strange people walking around. Still, it hurt a lot when the bird ripped out some of my hair.
Honestly, how you talk about chinchillas makes me want one, my sleep schedule has basically made me nocturnal so....
aww i understand the struggle of not having enough room for buns, although i do hope you get one in the future! they're absolutely AMAZING animals, they love to circle around your feet for food and they're really adorable when binking! i really like your channel because of how much you care about animals, Especially mice, as most people JUST view them as plain food..
Soda: snakes are a boring pet
Also soda: has fish
Me: ARE YOU SERIOUS
She probably doesn't want to feed mice to the snakes
@@crocodile9156 yeah I mean it's not like she said that
My grandma owns a cockatoo, they rescued it from a pet shop that rescued it somewhere else. It really is like having a 3 year old. They scream very loudly and aren’t super nice. Wonderful animals and I recommend one if you have the time to properly care for one
Soda: *Shows pictures of her holding ferrets*
Me: i like ur bnha sweater :)
My aunt had two macaws (we live in brazil) and she had a big ass room for them. It was this huge cage in her yard (like maybe 3m x 5m x 4m cage that started from the floor) that had lots of branches and perches. She had them for maybe 10-15 years before she decided to give them to a rescue center in our city bc of neighbor complains. Do not free them in the wild! Contact a place that can actually take care of them! :)
I own a ferret
wait. *THATS ILLEGAL!*
What’s it’s name? I bet it’s cute
Good for you i guess ?
@@gontathegentleman9833 im not bragging.
@@mildweirdness3472 its names bug
I know someone who used to have a big bird at their house and I always felt bad for it. They just had a big cage for it and it was allowed to climb outside of it but that was it really. I always felt like it should be in a good zoo, the wild, or a sanctuary and not in a cage in the living room. I think the bird is in a better home now bc the son who loved the bird took it, so I bet she has good care now.
Your cockatiel is sooooooo cute and adorable!!!!
The star of the show~!
As far as I knew ferrits are still keepable if they are fixed
Macaws and Cockatoos are just some of my favourite birds. BTW do you still have that little budgie, Louis (i think), that your looking after? And when im older i would like to own a big piece of land and try to get a Zoo Permit so i could have a ranch where i keep exotic animals. It would also serve as a rescue shelter for animals that are ready to go out into the wild.
Yes I still have Louie, hes still very sick but will make videos about him once he recovers, I also would love to own an animal shelter!
please don´t keep wild animals in captivity, they should be out in the wild, you´re just going to make their lifes worse, if you´re planning on making a rescue to free them into the wild that´s fine but if you really love animals you would not keep them just to have a ranch of exotic animals (I´m talking about wild animals here like tigers, lions, giraffes etc, not exotic pets like geckos for example)
@@jeronimselles7840 I wasnt planning on have exotic animals such as lions, tigers, bears etc. Only if they were from a circus or place where they are unreleaseable THEN I would MAYBE own one dunno really.
@@jeronimselles7840 It really depends on if said wild animal was born in captivity or in the wild. If they've never lived in the wild, it's unlikely they would survive in the wild. They may have also picked up and become resistant to diseases they could introduce to the wild population.
There are wild animal sanctuaries that specialize in caring for different kinds of wild animals, even very large/complex ones, that need a home and cannot be released.
About rabbits, I have outdoor rabbits which have a hutch and a run, and we occasionally let them run around the garden. They’re fairly low-maintenance and they’re pretty happy. Idk if you can keep rabbits outside in New Zealand but in England you can, as the temperatures aren’t too extreme.
*I just realised I wrote a whole ass paragraph oops*
I've only seen two videos from you so far and I already know I'mma gonna bea binging xD
I aspire to have many animals one day and maybe be a hobbyist Axolotl breeder??? idk
anyways you have good vids, keep them up ^^
I had a Mexican grey banded king snake who had the sweetest personality.
He'd play peekaboo if he noticed someone outside his tank and loved being handled and washed (it was to help with shedding, warm water and baby soap softens the old skin so it's easier to shed)
I had him from when I was a tot till I was a teenager, it killed me when he passed.
i have a lil ball python :) he's a true angel, and i've never had trouble with him taking a meal! he loves the snake version of chin scritches 😆
Awwwwww!!! 🥺💖🥰
Give him a little chin scratch for meh 😂❤️❤️🥺🥺🥺
Just found your channel and I'm instantly in love!!! You can tell how much you love your pets and animals in general!!
Oh my God do you like snake discovery to!!!❤️🥰
I have ferrets, typically they will smell worse when they have a bad diet or are bathed too often. My ferret do not smell bad but they also have some of there scent glands removed.
@Peaches Yeah! I would recommend PazuandFriends (She did recently quit but her channel is still up) or Friendly Neighborhood Ferrets!
@Peaches lmk if you have any questions! I have lots of answers!
I want a bird so bad!! I would get a budgie.
My friend has 2 budgies!
Get a hand fed one if you get one TRUST ME😰
definitely get a budgie! they are awesome pets! I have two. They are my babies!!!!
I have a cockatiel
Lovebirds are similar but a bit better in my opinion
I have two guinea pigs :) they are really cuddly but I’m pretty sure mine have diagnosed lazines they are fast learners but they don’t really move unless it’s outside eating grass
Soda: "One of my favourite yt channels is Snake discover-"
Me: **Literally screams** "Yo! Yo yo yo yo!"
I had a Guinea pig for almost 6 years and then she past away I miss her but I loved her she was a great listener
Why am I up this late?
Cause we have nothing better to do :-
There's a place I go to hike and swim that takes care of macows, they are so sassy and snapy, even the chill ones cant be trusted lol. I'm so lucky that they are native to where I live
geeze im early😮 i was all the time checking what yuki was doing😂
My grandma actually rescues birds from people that are not good with taking care of birds it's kind of sad to see them how they were before she rescued them but when the birds get used to you they're so cute
I'll never have a hamster because they're nocturnal
Yeah for ferrets here in the US people usually get the scent glands removed. I dunno if it’s bad for them to do that but it happens often
Guinea pigs come off a lot more interesting than rabbits from my experience. Mine know their names and respond with cute squeaks :)
You must have had a strange experience then, my rabbit comes when called, I can walk him on a leash, and he grinds his teeth when happy.
@@lunalovebird2223 hm maybe. The rabbit i knew would always run away lol
@@KylahSayomiHenry he was probably just scared haha
i had a cockatoo for a while and yes, they’re absolutely MENTAL. Its hilarious, but i don’t recommend them personally. I don’t think i’d own a bird again but they’re awesome
I had to edit this comment cause people are spreading false accusations about me owning 4 sugar gliders that are happy being with me.
I didn't know you could have red pandas as pets?
@@samrenn9166 well i think in some parts of america they might be alloweed but in most parts of the world they are 99% illegal but i always see them in zoos :3
WAIT RED PANDAS?!?!?!?
@@nappxpi i think in some parts of America u can own them but i'm not quite sure
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Even if they´re legal to own as pets red pandas or sand cats should not be pets, they´re wild animals and they should be in the wild and in the worst of the cases in a zoo. It´s legal in some places to own tigers and lions as pets and that doesn´t make it right, you´re just changing their nature, they are probably going to live an unhappy life, if you really love them you would not keep wild animals in captivity
I used to have snakes. One snake at a time though. From my experience, snakes are kinda boring. But, they're really cute when you cuddle with them (yes, you can cuddle... like have them on your neck or around your arm) and they need kind of a lot of affection, you have to pet them almost everyday or else they'll forget how's its like and get vicious. Snakes dont feed much, they eat again after they've passed their "previous food". But, they're very cute and if you're pretentious, you might actually enjoy owning one
when she said "my boyfriend" i got a lil sad because i thought she was gay :,)
YOU CANNOT ASSUME
So what if she's not gay? Does it really matter?
@@chrono-glitchwaterlily8776 gay isn't a gender lol
i had a green indian ring neck named pickle, absolutely loved her, we were best mates but unfortunately my dad accidentally left a door open and she got out. people have sighted her but we have never been able to find her, i miss her so much. she hated everyone but me and it made me feel special 😂she use to try and feed me, we would nap together and everything, my hearts been empty ever since.
The person who disliked this is a Guinea pig fan
I live in idaho and our pet store a leopard gecko sell for like 40 to 60 and for different morphs it
they can range from 100 to 200 dollars and that’s about it that is insane how much they cost there

In Canada from what ive seen in a store, leopard geckos tend to sell for around 100$ CAD, which i find quite reasonable
The ferret was like

Ferrets and axolotls are definitely on my list of animals I would love to own
In germany they have created a breed of pug called a retromop. They are pugs that have been crossbred with a jack russell terrier to more resemble what pugs would have looked like in the 18th century. I believe its still a work in progress, but the longer snout means its has room in its head for all of its teeth, it can breath properly and its eyes dont bulge out further than its nose and actually fit in its head.
My dream pet was a snake for the longest time, and if i thought i was obsessed before i got one, that tripled the first time i got to hold one, and quadrupled when i got my baby cornsnake. I've only had her for a few months, and now my plan is to have a snake room once I'm able to buy a house. It's understandable that they aren't for everyone, but they are so cool and fun to chill with. I'm a goner lol
Snake discovery is literally my favorite!
~Laughs in professional herpetologist that also has a 'fuzzy' room in her house that has mice, rats and two rabbits~
Mind if I go to shop some food?
Whoa 500 for a leopard gecko? In the US theyre like $25 from a breeder. I think thats like 38 in New Zealand.
I recommend getting guinea pigs at some time ☺ their such gentle and kind creatures! 💜
Ferrets actually smell alot even after neutered they still let a smell off occasionally. And neutering can also cause them to develop arsenal disease later in life which is what my current 6 year old baby has he's losing all his fur. Have to keep giving him melatonin daily. When you first get them they also are very mischievous and bite sometimes draw blood takes months to train them not to!
I collected bags of fresh grass and twigs every day and spent a bunch of money on turnips and celery. But I loved caring for them! Sadly they got stolen.
