Hey tyler! Just coming in as an update to my previous comment. I'm still not quite there yet, but I love watching this video every once in a while as a reminder of what I'm working towards. I still need to work on my timidness, though - every single weekend, I see the green flag, and just shut the car off! I'm confident in this coming weekend, though. I'm getting better every time! Thanks for your reply to my comment five years ago. That really helped!
Hey tyler! I, of course, started and finished last. I actually think I was on the gas just a tiny bit less than you. Definitely; starting position determines feature finish. I need to work on my timidness, though. I doubt my good idea to watch micro sprint videos involving crashing just a day before...Hopefully, soon, I'll be up there, though.
I have been looking into getting into micro sprints lately. I'm fifteen with about 4k I've saved up as of rn (october 2020). I'm thinking of starting next summer how much did you spend on equipment? Are there any tips or things I need to know before getting into the sport
Assuming you already have a trailer and truck to haul it with, you can spend 8-12k on a good, used, race ready hyper or upwards of 24k on a brand new one.
@@TylerLindsay okay thats really important to know lol. Thanks for all the help I'll continue to comment any questions I have. Do you reccomend buying mini sprints brand new or would a pre owned car still keep up? (2005-2010 models)
Hey guys I just bought a micro sprint and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice and pointers on these things. I know absolutely nothing about them. I really want to race ,just got to start somewhere.
My name is George. I was watching your videos and figured I'd ask if someone could help me with the basics of these machines. I don't have a face book but if someone don't mind chatting later after work I got my cell I can text. I'm from Cortland ny.

A 270 micro sprint is quite a bit cheaper, but I don't know much about the price of one. If you do get a 270 though, RTS is the chassis you want
@@TylerLindsay thanks for the advice,If I were to get a 270 micro sprint chassis would I be able to later throw a 600 cc motor into it?
No, they are quite different
